guys and gals, I saw wysteria and pinkie pie on taobao
has anybody else seen them
when I saw them, then I F5'd the page and they where all sold out :C
anyway, did anybody manage to buy them from taobao???

Cool! I didn't see it, but there are more Pinkies from another ebay seller. Since they are showing up more often, maybe there is a better chance of them being released. Here's hoping.

glitter pinkie was also listed on taobao but sold out as well. I really think these are some sort of exclusive.. that's why they aren't popping up much yet

I have only seen one taobao seller that sold them both for 48 yuan each

and in ebay I have only seen the leena user and the one that sells pinkie for, like 95 or something

No one said they were prototypes. I kinda doubt that any of the "prototypes" we have seen are really true prototypes. Rather hard to deem things when we do not have an inside man and things are swiped from the production.

Ugh, but she's not translucent? It just looks like they've been dipped in glitter glue, which to my eye is worse than nothing. Why does Hasbro have to be so sadistic?!

Thats great more are turning up! How cool - and hopeful for an actual release. And interesting that the new Pinkie has the same dark pink hair as the Fashion Style we have seen.

Pardon but I searched through that and I only got results for the glittery ponies that I already seen and non of them had any left. May I ask you to point me to this rumoured 100 unit Wisteria sale?

That is so bizarre. When I placed our order, it showed something like 103 available, I wonder if taobaofocus glitched or something. Either way, it doesn't look like my agent got it in in time, I hope some of you were able to snag her, and I'm sorry for getting hopes up!

Someone could have easily bought up 40 or so- plus a bunch of single sales- there could have been 100+ to start, a pony this popular would sell fast.

No that's highly unlikely. I have been checking since I woke up today and for as long as that one have been up it haven't had 100 units, it have only said 8 (that was why I was in a rush to get my Wysteria when I discovered her) and still says it only sold 8.

I don't even care if shadowbolt RD'd nds legs don't end up being painted, though it is cheap of them, but she's gonna stay in her box like my Zecora. I hope they do the same style of box.
I'm dying to see glitter Pinkie Pie and Wysteria in packaging.

I can actually understand completely why the lightning bolts don't go all around the legs- they use some kind of automatic painting process that uses some kind of print or stencil that probably makes painting the inside of the legs impossible.
Even with hand-painting, I I had a devil of a time painting on the lightning bolts on the inside of my huge design-a-pony.

Dont ever trust Taobao listing quantities :P A lot of the time they list more than they have and sometimes they dont even have the item which is listed any more. Sometimes its just about getting buyers interested.

I'm late to the party, it seems. Those two lovely ladies are positively gorgeous! I don't have the first clue how Taobao works and when I try searching for any new/prototype ponies, I can't ever seem to find them. Lol I have no luck with those things. So, I would second (or third, or fourth... haha) that if anyone plans on doing a bulk order, should that be an option at some point, I'd be very much so interested - in Wysteria and the glittery Pinkie!

Well I put in the order. Jessica said she got it in and then told me to send payment. I did it and not my order says......ordered. So I must of lucked out. I did order some older ponies on there to that have been out for a while. :) I hope everyone lucks out and gets there ponies :)

The seller has 10 Wysteria and 10 Glitter pinkies, I think it's a good sign, more and more are surfacing every day it seems. Unlike the AJ and Rarity that we only saw a couple of. Maybe they were tests to see which figures they wanted to make?

I know I wish we had a clue what we were getting! The SDCC usually has something neat and different, last year they got Zecora first so I have a feeling they'll be preselling the Shadow Bolt and another pony, but these just scream 30th anniverary set to me. Wysteria was a G3 as was Pinkie, and with Minty popping up a little I wonder if they're going to release the original 6 some how as G4?

I'm so excited to see more of these. I feel fairly confidant now that they are going to show up as a more general release. I can't bring myself to purchase them at these prices right now, so I hope that I am right because I really want these two. I hope each of the main 6 get released like this along with another older pony. I really hope we see a few G1 ponies like this.

Around $11 plus $1.95 shipping to taobao agent, then you have to pay the commission fee, then shipping to yourself. I'd say around $20 when it's all said and done.

I got a Wysteria off Taobao, but my agent is so slow >_< I may get another Pinkie when they're released, mine has a pretty big symbol scrape ^^;

I saw that too- although the next batch sold out pretty quick too.
My bets are on an exclusive set- with the possibility that there will be a set of them as the Fair/SDCC exclusive (although AJ, Fluttershy and Rarity came out pretty long ago).
I guess based on the fact that Rarity and Fluttershy were translucent without being glittery- that design was probably nixed in favor of the glitter all over variety.

Oh I hope they are released. I just can't afford the eBay prices and Taobao confuses me. I want Wysteria badly, almost tempted to just buy her at expensive prices but am holding back.
