Well, hubby and I had each planned to get a bunny. He wanted a Holland Lop and I wanted a lionhead lop (or a lionhead or a Holland Lop). He got his Camille a few weeks ago, but I hadn't found MY bunny yet. Well, this weekend I found her! And she isn't anything at all I planned on getting, but she's MY bunny. She's got bunny pants and bright blue eyes and she's perfect! Meet Willa!

She is so cute !! Congrats on her :) I would love to see the other one that you got to. Are they living together?
-
Want more cute pictures!!
She is lovely.
*giggles- bunny pants*
-
Cami has her own thread from back when we got her: http://mlparena.com/mlp/index.php/topic,327904.0.html (http://mlparena.com/mlp/index.php/topic,327904.0.html)
They have seperate cages because Cami is rather dominate and Willa, right now, is rather teeny.

Eee! Bunny pants! I love her!!
-
Oh my goodness! *squeaks at the cuteness* - Willa is lovely - congrats on being a bunny mommy :)
-
Oh she is TOO stinkin' cute! Those pants- they kill me!
-
Ahhh, what an awesome colour! She's dead cute :)
-
TOO CUTE!!!
need more pics :D
:bunny:

What a cute little bunny! Her markings remind me of an Olde English Sheepdog!
Adorbz!
-
They're both adorable! Is she any specific breed?
-
She looks cute with the pants!
She looks a Dutch mix, based on the "pants" and stops. She just missed out on the head markings. :)
-
She's a Dutch but a super "flawed" one. All her siblings appeared to have the right markings not sure what went wrong with her, but I'm kinda glad it did. It's what made me pick her.
-
Cute! i love the all white head! i just got 2 bunnies in the last week or so, but i didnt even think about the back being pants! I love it they have pants!
so are these Dutch then?

i saw how similar your bunny was and had to show you mine! (im very new to bunnies but they are awesome!)
-
Yup, those are Dutch! Their markings are complicated and it is difficult to get a "perfect" one. Which results in a lot of unshowable bunnies.
-
well i guess its good i dont plan on showing them lol, i wouldnt have a clue where to start haha. I have a cat thats breed goes to shows but i picked the one with a "flaw" that disqualifies her- no tail lol. oh well. i think the flaws make them cute!
-
Congrats! She's lovely <3
I love bunnies they are my favourite animal! I wish I could have one now!!
But one day ^.^
-
oh well. i think the flaws make them cute!
Of course they do!!!!! If she had her show markings, they wouldn't look as much like pants!!!! What really got me were her bright sky blue eyes, which are also disqualifying.
-
She's adorable! We had dutch bunnies growing up, I never thought about them having pants either! She totally looks like she's wearing bunny pants. :P She's so cute. ^.^

 but her blue eyes are soooo pretty! i love blue eyes on animals! ok i know i said im new to the bunny game but really people?! stupid rules. :silly:
-
They look even more like bunny pants when she stretches out her furry little bunny legs! And to be fair, I didn't think of them as pants either until EmberBright pointed it out! :silly:

Why do I not live at your house? *invites self over*
-
You should! It's not far away! Remember? We have the same neighbors!
-
She looks like a toy! Too cute!
-
OMG! SO CUTE!!
Congrats on your bunny. :)

I love mismarked animals too. I just thought Id explain the point of some rules. In some cases\species eye color can indicate blindness or deafness or the animal carrying those issues. Also high white or odd white markings can indicate megacolon in some species. Mismarks can certainly indicate something went wrong with that animal so no showing as showing is for evaluating breeding stock. I dont mean to alarm u because if she is healthy by now she probably doesnt have anything that would keep her from living a long life as a pet but not knowing what caused the mismarks is why she wouldnt be shown.
-
I'm aware that alterations from show standards for any species could indicate genetic defect and they should not be bred. However, she's not being bred or shown, just adored. If health issues arise, we will deal with them as they come, as we do with all of our "flawed" pets. And it doesn't mean she isn't completely adorable or super sweet.
-
*squee* She is so cute! Someday I want a dutch, and I'd be thrilled if it has blue eyes.
I really want to name one "Timbit" - Canadians will get that, a Dutch(ie) Timbit. haha!
-
So adorable! Oh my goodness!
-
Kawaii!! So cute ^_^
-
She is the cutest! I love her pants! XD
-
XD I was just picturing her with suspenders.
-
Adorable!! Congrats!

Good that you know that. I wasn't under the impression you were interested in showing or breeding her but since the topic was started about her markings being a disqualification for shows I thought I'd add there is a reason so everybody knows its not just because the show people don't like the looks. I think, like human birthmarks, a large percent of mismarked animals don't have anything to worry about except being unique pets. I'd have picked her out too, she's so cute.
-
Oh she is a love, and sometimes odd markings are just that, odd. The genetics behind then is quite fascinating and does not always meant health or other issues.
-
Love the bunny pants! So adorable! :)
-
Soo cute! :3
-
Omg she is adorable with her wee pants! This makes me want a bunny even more :) I love odd markings on animals, makes them interesting. Blue eyes are pretty on just about any animal, and Willa is no exception to that rule! Congrats on your new fur baby <3
-
She's precious! I love her pants, they suit her well. ;)
-
Aww so cute bunny :D
-
Omigosh, bunbunpants.
-
Awww so cute!!
-
Adorable!! I miss having bunnies!
She found a wonderful home!

Thanks all. She is a super rotten little bunny. And weird. All the other bunnies we've had have always been particular about being picked up and most do not like the lifting/dangling in air before snuggles part. Will I can pick up any old way and she couldn't care less. All our other bunnies liked being stroked. Will doesn't care if you pet are all crazy like you are playing with a puppy. She's a perfect bunny for me and she's super sweet. :lovey:
