I have been watching this auction.
Or should I say those auctions????
http://www.ebay.de/itm/HUGE-my-little-pony-collection-/321097662809
It was listed two weeks ago (and maybe before???) - after receiving bids for over £300 she ended the auction early.
She replied to questions about her ponies like that "there are so many, I cant say...", "I have got about 10 or more boxes that are not pictured..." "too much to say" "plus I have got some MIB ones too, which are not pictured"- all very vague and not very helpful for someone who is a collector and has mostly mint ponies.
So auction ended early and my friend asked her why - her reply was she has decided to keep them (as her collection).
Now - 2 weeks later. Relisted. Exactly the same auction text and pics. AND.
Ended early again after 3 days (£140 max bid at the time).
I know she can do whatever she likes, but somehow this is very dodgy.
Anyone any experiences with this seller? suzannetash on ebay.co.uk
xx

I am on ebay UK all the time, never bought from this seller though. She's got nothing up at the moment, but if her listings are vague and she gives evasive responses to your requests for specific ponies then I'd avoid. Of course she could be a parent selling off her kids out-grown toys, they tend to not know the specifics of pony identification!!
However, even then she should photograph all of the goods on sale. Sounds a bit like she is cheaping out by only putting one auction up with as few photo's as she thinks she can get away with.
Also re-listing and ending auctions early?? Not good practice I think... Definitely avoid this one...
-
I'm with Rhubarb on this one - even if she's just torn about selling them, there is absolutely no reason to keep putting them back up and taking them back down. The whole thing smells like yesterday's garbage! I'd avoid at all cost.
-
I saw that, I think she might be getting offers and selling some separately (or keeping them)? as I noticed in the second auction her pics were different and some off the ponies weren't there like baby liquorice
I did find it strange she wanted to sell everything in a lot and only offered collection only, I am sure many people would have asked her to break up the lot
-
I have never heard of her before. But it definitely sounds a bit off
-
I don't know her personally, but I'm pretty
Sure she has brought things from me in
The past and I'm pretty sure she is on at least
One on the pony communities. I asked her why she was selling
Since I thought it strange to sell it all together
My question was ignored and just my postage question asked.
Probably stopped the auctions as it would go
For a low price.... Then again a reserve could be created?
-
Very unprofessional. Thanks for letting us know!

I sold a lot of ponies to this seller this weekend via online classifieds, she came and collected them in person. Certain it's the same lady because her name was Suzanne and she's from the same town.
I mentioned I was planning to sell off a lot of my collection and she offered to buy the entire lot, which I declined because I want to sell them individually at Ponycon. She said she'd been looking for a huge lot to buy in bulk which is pretty odd considering she's then selling her collection on ebay...?! Definitely seems a bit weird to me :s
-
Thanks for all of your replies, ponies.
A friend of mine stalked her feedback, which showed she has been buying ponies in the last 6 months on a regular base which is strange if she sells her collection.
LOL Nappercasper - I think everyone online in the UK has bought ponies of you before ;-) You have a good customer group on ebay ;-)
(I bought ponies from you a couple of years ago, before I even knew you).
xx
-
This does sound very off! I would avoid dealing with this person (or at least avoid buying from her). why is she trying to buy big lots of ponies while at the same time trying to sell of her collection?.... and then ending the auctions early.. thats a no-no.
-
Haha thanks for that! Wow really did you, can u remember who?? xD
-
just bumping this back up cause I see she has a new listing selling her entire collection.. people tread with caution not saying she is a bad seller but she has listed this lot a few times and pulled the auctions early

I love the "I'll add pictures later" bit. That's totally not dodgy at all.
-
Sounds like she is flipping but does not want anyone to know it. Odd.

Is this the same seller?

good spotting it is the same seller : /

Thanks for the head's up nhal039. It looks like that auction is pick-up only. So whomever decides to deal with her is going to have to meet her person for that lot. Which I suppose is better than shelling out over a grand for it and not having them be shipped out.
-
I already have her on my Bad Trader List... for the same reason: ending auctions early or deciding she's not selling when she listed them for sale.
-
yeah same seller  :( I wouldnt deal with her - she's messed people around and something seems very off about her. Thankfully this auction is pick up only so it should be less risky for the buyer (in theory!) ,but I dont think anyone would hand over that kind of cash to this particular seller now anyways considering her past actions.
-
True. it is the same seller.
Looks like putting her on the "Bad Traders List" was a good idea then...
Someone on Facebook just said she had bad experineces with that seller before...

And here she goes again...

I mailed her about the lot this is our conversation:
Beste suzannetash,
wow I soooo wish I lived nearby you right now! I would come right away ( I live in the netherlands )
Sooooo in love with your great big lot! See a lot I do not have yet
sorry to read you have to let it all go
greetings linda
====================================
Hello, i know its not so bad when i know my ponies are going to a good home, you could arrange courier service if you like its really worth it, this collection is amazing.
- suzannetash
============================================
Beste suzannetash,
what is that courier service ?? never heard of this before
=====================================================
courier service is where you arrange for someone to come and collect your goods eg. you arrange for someone to come to my house and pick up the ponies and they will deliver to your home. you can find this out on the internet to find the best deal. I found the best is parcelforce.com. Or you can just get some advice from your local post office. Hope this helps :)
==================================
hi again, can you see for me how much it will cost me? I do not know the sizes of boxes and how much it weigh....
my adress is:
=====================================
Hello, i will find out for you how much it will cost but it might take a few days as there is sooooo much to weigh but finding out for you is no problem at all.
===================================
then I saw all those messages on facebook because I placed her there and then a person lead me to this thread
and now she deleted her auction I emailed her what she is doindg so waiting for a answer
-
So weird
I mean what is she gaining, it is costing her to keep relisting it, over and over again?
-
 this is crazy!
-
Would swap collection for a puppy?!?!
Personally I would avoid this seller as we had a small nightmare of a transaction earlier in the year, but maybe being collection only would reduce the risk of someone else getting the run around
-
Would swap collection for a puppy?!?!
Oh my goodness, I totally missed that statement. Ok sure, here's your puppy.
-
Lol puppy please
I just looked at it & it has come off listing yet again...... says this at the top
......This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing..... yes the error is you can't make your mind up :p
Well lets see bet its back on after Christmas..... she is about 2-3hrs (maybe 4 as would have to go near london to get to her) if she wasn't such a strange seller & I had the money I'd so go for it no clue where it would all go though haha.
LMFAO just saw what you ment about the puppy hahaha ...... (would swap my collection for a extra extra micro chihuahua)...... yeah right!
Just looked at her other auctions.... the rings are fake can tell that straight away (showed mum as well she was like defiantly fake mum used to be a jeweller she knows her stuff) .... the earrings are not worth that there hollow & look gold plated to me they aren't even worth £10 (personally I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole :p)
So yeah I would defiantly stay well away from this seller ....
-
she deleted the auction because...
IT's RELISTED AGAIN!!!!!

-
Lol that's funny bet she will have another account where she bids on it too. There is a reserve on it anyway so what is the point of starting with such a low bid
-
yeah, I bet she has ;-)
xx
-
   there are no words.....
-
go on, Ringlets - it is quite entertaining to watch.
It currently is at £1.430 reserve not met and 15hrs left...
I wonder if the reserve she put was *evil movie laugh* £1.000.000
xx
-
I bet a thousand ponies......that it gets pulled before it even ends. :devious:
-
did anyone else notice in the new listing that she wrote "( 99% OF THE PONIES ARE VINTAGE AND %10 ARE G3)"
LMFAO XD wtf? i'm pretty sure 99 percent only leaves 1 percent for the g3s she is counting. someone needs a math lesson.. and thats coming from ME!
-
oh my goodness!! *falls over ROFL!!!!* :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
-
It sold for £1600.00! Anyone on here won it? Congratulations to whoever won this and what a great Xmas present that it would be for the lucky winner, I wish I had that amount of money to bid on such a huge lot, those tubs of ponies and tubs of accessories are gonna be sooo much fun rooting thru :)
-
:lmao:  It was ended because there was an error in the listing.
-
What!!!!! I didnt see that!
-
Lmfao!!!!!!!!! You have got to be kidding lol.

Can the person who suppose to win the auction tell usssssssssssssssssssssss something whe are all dying over here hahaha
-
A gal on the MLParena facebook page says that she was offered a second chance offer after the listing ended. But they are declining it after finding out about all this hoopla...
"My husband bid on this lot as a surprise Christmas present. He wasn't the winning bidder but has been offered a second chance offer as the winning bidder was in Europe and wanted it shipping which the seller won't do. She also told my husband there was (another) error in the listing and there aren't in fact any mountain boys included. He has declined the second chance offer after I've told him about the ongoing saga with this seller. So who knows what will happen now?!?! Third chance offer or relisted???"
-
ok.. after reading the latest updates on this since I last posted
first I was like .."it actually ........SOLD?????????!!!!!!!!!!" ------> :whoa: :dropjaw:   :faint:
and then the next bit I was like ----->   ok thats more like it - soooooo not surprised!
and now I'm back to -----> :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: that woman is absolutely crazy. Bet its relisted *again*
-
or maybe third chance offer *pfft*
xx
-
unbelievable
and what does she actually GAIN from this list & relist saga? surely she has to pay fees now that its 'sold' ?? I dunno? but I thought that was how ebay worked?? I mean my friend sold a Butet saddle & an Albion saddle on there back in the summer and they soon whopped her with the fees. or do they get cancelled if the 'winning bidder' *snort* doesn't pay?
this is better than a Christmas comedy special ;)
-
Geesh! She sounds like a Nightmare! (Or is that an insult to Princess Luna?)
Was fun reading your posts however. :good:
-
Yeek! Can she be reported to ebay for false advertising or something, now that she's admitted the listing was inaccurate? Given her history, I can't imagine that was an accident...

No Kidding! I honestly can't believe it has not been reported yet.

Lmfao.... I am very ashamed that this person lives in the UK but glad she isn't in my county haha.
