Wanted to share pics of some ponies I have bought from Arena members and rehaired this winter. :) Beachball has white parts of her hair rehaired, the others are full rehairs.
Today it was sunny enough for taking outdoor pics of the Sunshine Ponies. :sunny:

What do you think? Have you rehaired Perfume Puffs or Sunshines?
I like the UV hair soo much! And I hope to find a rehairable Lavender Lace and Sand Digger one day :)

(How'd you do that?!)
-
Ooooh great job on the Sunshine ponies!
-
They look stunning! The Perfume Puffs look so gorgeous with regular hair, I think I'll have to add them to my wish list! :) I've always loved their symbols ^.^
And the Sunshine ponies are just... wow! Great job :D
-
Gorgeous! :)
-
Oooh! I always love perfume puffs without the puff :P They are gorgeous and your Sunshine ponies look brand new!
-
Thank you for all these kind words.
The curls are straw curls and the shininess is probably because Dollyhair is very shiny :)
-
Oh, now I really need to rehair my Sunshine ponies! Yours look amazing! :)
-
Yeah their hair colour changes so brightly... But I think I still prefer my Sunshine set with original hair :)
-
Whoa, the perfume puffs look fantastic that way! And you're also making me rethink rehairing my Sunshine ponies... most of them have some of that dreaded frizz as well. Excellent job!
-
Amazing work, they all look so pretty and shiny!
-
Holy wow they look amazing!!!
-
They look fantastic! Where did you find that UV hair? I've been dying to do some customs with that hair but never seem to be able to find it.

It's polypropylene hair from mylittlecustoms :)

wow wow wow great job i looooooooooooooooooove your sunshine ponies, im going to have to get some of that colour change hair for a bait girl im getting :D
awesome restores
-
Yeah I hadn't spotted that UV hair either before someone else at the Arena told me about it :)
Though I don't like the texture of polypropylene hair on ponies too much. It doesn't match with nylon hair texture at all, but after curling it looks better.
I wonder if Seaside Babies' and Watercolor Baby Seaponies' hair is polypropylene. The texture feels the same.
-
Ah, they all look so beautiful!!!! You did an amazing job!
I especially love Daisy Sweet- how did you get her hair to look so perfect?

That would make sense Goldilocks - as to why it degrades in a different way from nylon.

They all look great! I'm torn on the PP though. I mean on the one hand, they look AMAZING with their new hair. However, maybe it's just the picture, but their original hair didn't look that bad. Was it cut in some way? I love alternate rehairs, but I hope you didn't chop perfectly good hair off the pony. Then again, it's yours to do what you want with. I think my brain is going to explode. lol
-
Yeah the Perfume Puffs had their hair cut to about half the original length. As did Seaflower. Mainsail had a mohawk. And Beachball had frizzy white stripes which didn't change colour anymore.
I wouldn't rehair good ponies, I prefer the original...

Oh. My. GAWD!
Those sunshine ponies are AMAZING!! Guuuh!!
You even got changey hair!!! So much awesome!
Also, for some reason the perfume puffs with regular hair made me immediately think of UK release ponies, no idea why.
Thanks for sharing the pics. Very drool worthy :)

I love UV hair too! Your restores are lovely!
When I took my Sand Digger outside last year I had totally forgotten about the colour changing hair and so I got a nice surprise when the sun came out! (it was a nice surprise that the sun came out anyway! lol)

I agree, they somehow resemble UK release ponies. I have put them for display on the same shelf with my Flower Ponies and Sweet Clovers :)
How cool would it be if the International release of Perfume Puffs were regular-haired and the US ones poofy-haired. =More ponies to collect :hamster:

Wow, those restored sunshines look amazing! Great job!
