This girl took me months to finish, mainly because I was working on swap ponies and moving to another state. But once I was settled in and starting getting all my pony supplies out, I figured it was the perfect chance to finish her. ^.^
She was rehaired using Fairy Secret synthetic blend, which I just love for the colors. Acrylic paints, Testor's Dullcote, Triple Thick, ribbon and Swarovski flat back gems in purple and clear make up the rest of the supplies used to make her. Oh, and a straight pin with a flower and leaf for an extra accent.
I had a hard time with her hair because I really wanted it to be curly... but without curlers, they just weren't setting properly. So I opted instead to give her a neck curl and a leg curl for her tail.
The purple of her fairy cutie mark and eyes did an awesome marbling effect when I applied the Triple Thick over them.
