Title: Advice please - Toralei
Post by: Gaspode on March 13, 2013, 02:38:58 PM
Hiya

I've got a Toralei I'm thinking of selling. She's complete with her box and accessories.  She has the 'bendy' style tail.

Her box has some creasing/shelf wear.

Her leg has snapped at the knee :( I could glue it if I remove the clothes but wondered whether I should leave this for her new owner.  what do you guys think? Would people prefer to do the repair themselves so they know how it was done/what was used?

Any thoughts/PC would be much appreciated thanks. She's a very cute doll but I can barely justify keeping Catrine as I dont' really have dolly space any more since I have a two year old lol (sold my Pullips before she came along!)

Thanks!

I personally would definitely prefer to fix her myself-  since I might not have to glue her- might be able to get a substitute leg...

I think most people would prefer to fix her themselves. :>

Also, with the new Fearleading-3-Pack out, it's not so hard to get hold of a new leg for her anymore. ^^

Thanks guys. Yes I guess I've seen a couple of broken Tori's going cheap so the leg is fixable :) As a display doll she works despite the broken leg even as you can't tell when she's in her trousers and stood up.  Hmm.

anyway, I'll pop her up for sale as is and keep an eye for a donor leg too :0
