I wouldn't actually be able to host it myself since I don't meet the qualifications, but I thought it was a fun idea if someone else wanted to host it if people were interested.
The idea would be pirates vs ninjas... I thought it would be cool for people to either pick their favorite Hasbro pony or their ponysona to turn into either a pirate or ninja.
People would say what pony they want transformed and whether they want pirate or ninja. From there I had two ideas:
1. List off your top 5 fave ninja/pirate styles (naruto style, Jackie Chan, ninja title, pirates of the carribean, historical pirate, classy pirate, dirty pirate, pirates/ninjas from different countries/time periods, etc) probably with reference images, time periods, etc.
2. Create a story for your pirate or ninja pony and let your partner interpret that into
a pony design.
Maybe a list of likes and dislikes, fave generations/ poses, things like that.
Or if you like both and can't decide get a pony that represents pirates vs ninjas. Or give your partner the ability to choose between pirate or ninja.
I think it would be fun to see how many pirates we get vs how many ninjas to wee who wins the battle lol :)
Input would be great and someone to host too if there is enough interest :)

well, i like pirateponies, so i´d be interested, but i fear i have no time for another swap, sorry.
but the idea is nice, i want to see all the ponies. ^^

Yeah my time is short atm, I was actually thinking for later in the year, cause I might even be able to host or cohost by then lol

I Love this idea! I can think of all kinds of ideas already . . . I would definitely be interested if this got set up. I like both of the formats you suggested, but I think the first one would be easier, although the second one is really creative and fun sounding. I'll be looking forward to hearing more about this.

I love the idea of this! If it is later in the year, i could definitely take part, because my swap list is going to fill up quickly with all the swaps that are starting soon...but I am definitely in for this!

Has this swap gone to the way side or is there still a chance of it happening? How much feedback would I need to have to be able to join if it does? I'll have 5 really soon (maybe 7 or 8 by september? )and I have 4 more on eBay if those count and a lot on deviantART if that helps too.

Oh that would be amazing if you could! :biggrin: I'm still to much of a newbie on this site to host yet, but would be thrilled to join.
After reading the swap rules I think the next thing to do would be to have a host pm a mod about making it actually happen
