Title: Anyone else like the new Littlest Pet Shop show?

At first my impression this show was "awww, so cute", but somewhere along the line my reaction morphed into "I LOVE THIS SHOW!!"   :happy:

Basic premise:  Blythe (if you watch MLP FIM you'll note she's voiced by the woman who voices Rainbow Dash) is a high school student who has moved to the big city with her dad.  She bumps her head and can suddenly understand what pets are saying.  And then she gets a job at the Littlest Pet Shop, which has a pet daycare camp.  The animals there each have their own personality / special talent.  It's pretty much a sitcom with lots of goofy humor.

My favorite characters are Sunil the mongoose and Zoe the fashionista spaniel.   :accomplished:  And my favorite episode is either the one where the pets accidentally drive away with a truck (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEqXay08gAo) (with a bonus Star Trek reference) or the one where they're trapped in a sweet shop (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-Y_VYCdzuI).

My daughters love it too!  Because it's on after MLP, we kinda got sucked into it.  My favorite episode so far is the one where Penny thinks Blythe is making her a men's suit for a charity event party.  Oh, I love the episode where Blythe becomes friends with the Biscuit twins!!

It's a super cute show and definitely worth a sneaky-peek if you haven't seen it yet.

I'm in love with this show too. I first saw it when it premiered after MLP. I didn't care for the pilot episodes so I didn't watch anymore of it until a friend of mine told me how much he was into it. He told me how good it was and convinced me to watch a few episodes with him. We watched the first three or four and after that, I was hooked. I watched the rest of the episodes by myself in one sitting.

It's not as good as MLP: FiM in my opinion, but it's a great show in its own right. It's made by the same studio that makes MLP, has some of the same voice actors, has Daniel Ingram and Steffan Andrews behind the music, and even has some of the same writers, so there's no wonder it's so good.

So far my favorite main character is a tie between Pepper Clark and Penny Ling. I like Pepper because she's funny and I like Penny Ling because she reminds me of Fluttershy. She's shy and reserved, yet she can be courageous and determined when need be.

My favorite episode so far is number 15, Topped With Buttercream. I love everything about this episode. The bunny (Buttercream) and her um... "aaaanywho" moments, the sweet shop song, and the pets' tribal adventure in the sweet shop.

I swore I wouldn't do this at first, but I like the show so much I've even started buying the toys... well, so far just the set with the main characters. I'm not sure if I'll buy anymore or not. But then again, that's the same thing I said before I started my pony collection.

Just started watching this...I've been playing the game on my kindle for over a month now so I was curious!  I love it!  It reminds me of the old pound puppies cartoon from the 80s!

I started watching it yesterday and I'm already on episode 11. I absolutely love it! Its nothing amazing or ground breaking, but I really really like it. Its nice and fun and cute. My boyfriend even watched a few episodes with me and enjoyed it, haha.

My favorite characters are definitely Penny "Lane" (that's what my boyfriend and I thought her name was) and Pepper. But they're all so adorable.

Sunil and Pepper are my favorites.  I actually just had a Pepper figure arrive in the mail today.  It's the one with the black shirt painted on. :)

The most recent episode ("What's in the Batter?") has to be the best one so far, in my opinion.  The show was on a downward slide for the past few episodes and that one boosted it big time.

I started watching the show because it looked colorful and cute and reminded me a bit of MLP FiM.

However, I didn't enjoy the first two episodes much. It was all a bit superficial and gave me the impression it would all be about dressing up the pet characters and making Blythe a famous fashion designer (just like I thought FiM would be more about adventure than Slice of Life).

But I have to say the show really grew on me and so did the "large head" look (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=7-Y_VYCdzuI#t=813s) of the characters.
Before I was introduced to the show I hated the new LPS. I remembered my childhood toys and thought the re-design looked not only hideous and creepy, but had nothing on the old toys.

The LPS show changed this.

I still dislike the look of G2, but I'm oddly okay with G3 now.
I even bought a few blind bags (four doggies to customize) and the pink deer. Maybe I'll get a few more of the Sweetest line, they look great with my candy and ice-cream themed ponies :blush:

My favorite characters from the show are Zoe (I just have a thing for "dramatic diva" characters) and Sugar Sprinkles (I hope we'll see her again).
Sunil, Pepper and Minka are cute, too ^^

Haha yeah, and the regal Celestia reduced to a knee-high Spaniel xD

I think the show is cute! Definitely a lot better than I was expecting.

i love this show, its very humorous, i never intended to watch it, it was after FiM on youtube and i let it run for the kids and they loved it too.
every now and then i catch my big burly hubby snuggling up with our little miss 2yr old DD watching it on his tablet and i get "this is our show" :P its soo sweet.

I rather enjoy this show and I  probity enjoyed season 1 of it more then My little pony season 3.
My favorites are Zoe Trent,Pepper and Buttercream.

Woa I can't beleive I didn't know Russel was Edd! It's so obvious now! Double D is indeed the greatest of the Eds.

I really like the show too. Pepper's my favourite of the 7. She's hilarious, and I just love the grey and white with pink eyes combination. If the plushies are nice, I may get one of them when they come out.

i actually just watched all of these on netflix while on bedrest from a swollen spleen LOL.   so cute, i love it. :)  the songs are cute and the animation and characters are nicely done.

Loa they actually did a much better job than i expected,  better than alot of cartoons out right now.   i was very pleasantly surprised :)
