I just wanted to see how rare it actually is in our community.
I know a few of us have near complete ones, but I wondered who else does!

I have a complete one that I have had since I was little. Growing up I didn't know they released the pink one since mine was purple :). I always thought it was weird they changed the color from what it was in the show and on the box.

I have all of it but one turrett and a few htf accessories.
Mine arrived from America in a box a toilet came in :P

I'm like sheena! It was my childhood playset and the ONLY one that survived multiple moves and yard sales. I'm only missing one purple goblet and it KILLS me because I know I used to have it.

I got the shell from a childhood friend & I've been buying accessories to complete it over several years. :)

I haven't even seen one in person let alone own one (I may have seen it at the fair but not outside of that).

I got one from a coworker a few years ago. I have, I think, the majority of the accessories by now.

I have it and all the accessories too except for the pink throne blanket.

I don't even have the pink one, let alone the lavender one. Gonna check the thrift store I found the Waterfall at soon. :biggrin:

Missing just the special Spike and one purple goblet! Will offer $$$ and unending thanks. :P
In all seriousness I purchased it near complete and added some missing items - a couple of horseshoes, mirror and cloak over the years. :)

Mine came with the small eyed Spike. I think Spike from the pink castle and lavender castle are slightly different in color but I don't remember exactly which is which. Large cartoon eyed (same eyes as the UK Princess dragons) Spike is also harder to find. Someone correct me if that is less than accurate info!

Yeah, thanks for the pic! I finally see the differences between the lav and pink Dream Castle ones. The one from the lavendar castle has lighter green markings too.
I have it near complete. Let's see, what am I missing? The box and instructions (can live without), the purple goblets, a horseshoe, and I need a damsel hat upgrade (mine doesn't have ribbons). Other than that, just the regular ribbons, brush, and comb that came with it, but I'm not too concerned about those.

Funny thing is I have owned 3 lavender castles and NEVER a pink one????
Aside from Peachy's parlor I think that playset has passed through my hands much more often than any of the other playsets... wait I am on Sweetshoppe number 3 as well...
Honestly I think Megan's place is harder to find! I'm still missing more pieces to Megan's place than to the Lavender DC!

but i only got it towards the end of last year from a member on here :satisfied:
its not complete, but its got the box, the throne, felt banners, cloak, spike, the basket, goblets, table, hoops, ummm.. i know it needs the crown and some horseshoes (like *where* am i gonna find them :( )
then there's the minor issue of it missing one entire side :lookround:... the side with the smallest turret on!
so if anybody wants to sell me that side in question then drop me a pm :P

I have it - or have access to it at least. It's sitting on a table in my mother's basement - I was actually looking at it the last time I was over there.
I feel a little inspired to go digging around down there now to see if any of the accessories are still there! Something to add to my list of things to do the next time I visit :)

As others have said there is a colour difference but the easiest way to tell them apart is their eyes. Pink Dream Castle Spike has crescent shaped pupils and Lavender DC Spike has smaller and more circular shaped pupils.

No it was a US release only. It may have been released in Canada as well but I am not 100% certain on that.

Got mine at a local thrift store! I have the pink one too which is my favorite because of "Rescue at Midnight Castle".

Mine is complete and minty condition with the box - its easily my favourite playset :biggrin:

No it was a US release only. It may have been released in Canada as well but I am not 100% certain on that.

Hey you never know...early in the last decade a local collector to me has found an Indian pony at my local car boot sale as well as a Greek and a Venezuelan! I have only ever found Baby Stella :( So you never know what someone may have brought over to the UK from the US in the past. I continue to hope myself!

I've got one that's near complete too.
I'm missing the instructions -- it's actually one of my most wanted items at the moment! I may be missing a ribbon or comb too, but at least I have the main accessories and the box.
I missed out on the MIP set on ebay awhile back. I think it went for $900 or something like that! But it was brand-new.
