I'm actually surprised it took his long for someone to post about it. I was hoping to keep it quiet so no one emails the seller, lol, but I got an update that my ponies were shipped this morning, no tracking number though. We shall see I guess XD I'm not allowing myself to get too excited- I've bin'ed rare ponies before for cheep only to have the seller back out after realizing their value.

I was hoping to keep it quiet so no one emails the seller, lol, but I got an update that my ponies were shipped this morning, no tracking number though. We shall see I guess XD I'm not allowing myself to get too excited- I've bin'ed rare ponies before for cheep only to have the seller back out after realizing their value.

Well, if they'd done a one second google search, they would have seen how high her price can go. I can't feel sorry for someone who doesn't do their due dilligence. It's not up to the buyer to inform the seller that their item is grossly under priced.

Ooohhhhh...that would explain why I *rarely* get any BIN results in the saved searches emails. Guess you just have to be on the prowl all the time....thanks for the info! I need to be more vigilant!

Thanks every one! When I saw it pop up, my heart stopped and when my payment went through (it was immediate payment required) I couldn't breathe for a long time. I did also win baby gametime (or sugarcake?) that morning which prompted me to ask the seller if they were planning to list any more ponies. They said they were that afternoon. If the ponies actually arrive, I don't think I'll ever find another BIN like this again.

Thought I'd add that the way to getting good ponies is to hound the newly listed- keep refreshing every few minutes. Just a few of my good bins: A lot of 25 including a complete set of taf babies for $75. One night, someone was listing their collection in small lots. I spent a total of $200 and got several htfs including more taf babies, red roses, mimic and lots of accessories. Got a moc BB barnacle for $60. Mimic for $10. I wouldn't rely on Ebay's messaging system.

I saw this too! I don't feel bad for the seller- they knew enough to look up her name, it's really easy to check the price of something. And I'm REALLY glad she went to someone who will take good care of her! Congrats!

So, when I was leaving for work this evening, I noticed two bubble envelopes stuffed into my mailbox. No time to open, so I took them to work with me. Long story short, Rapunzel and Baby Gametime(sugarcake?) came today!. I'm still in a bit of a shock- Punzie is so much more pretty in real life! Both ponies are in amazing condition, though Rapunzel needs her hair restyled. I'll take some pics tomorrow when I have some light.
On a side note, I had emailed the seller last night requesting a tracking number so I knew when to expect them. They didn't have one, but has offered a blue heart version of one of the glow n show ponies which they had been told was rare. At first I couldn't help but to laugh at the irony of it all. Now... I can't help but to feel a bit bad, but my mom keeps telling me that the seller set the BIN. I know she's right, but there's still that little bit of guilt, lol.

I know what you mean by feeling guilty...whenever I make a real score on anything I sometimes feel bad for the seller..but then again..why should I? It's their responsibility to check the items value...
(btw what does BIN mean?)

Congrats!! I LOVE seeing auctions like this, never loose hope that you might snag a rare for cheap :D Imagine if she was in a thrift store.. she probably would have been like $2 or something so try not to feel too guilty CA :)

Another reason to not feel guilty is that maybe they knew the value, but didn't know what to do with the pony, so put a low/generous price!
