We always talk about that last illusive pony or ponies we need to complete a set - the pony or ponies that we stalk sale posts and ebay for and seem to become harder to find just because we are looking for them.
So I wondered if you had the chance to pick any set from one of the 12 listed above to own complete - be that complete with all their accessories or just complete in minty condition - which one would it be?
I know I have only listed 12 types of set above as these seem to be the ones most talked about but feel free to post if there is another set which drives you crazy and you would love to own completed.
Its going to be interesting to see which set is most sought after :)
Also by "Princess" the set would include all the Princess ponies - both release 1 and release 2 - and the same for the other sets mentioned.

Rainbow (second set) I don't have any yet!, trying to complete Wingers set, twice as fancy (first set) and big brothers

I'm really not a completist collector, having said that, I voted for Rainbow Ponies. Especially the 1st set really epitomize My Little Pony IMO, and I'd love love love to have them all completely mint!
The other set I feel any desire to complete is the Sweetie Babies, with their awesome candy barrettes!

I can't decide between TAF and Summer Wings! Gahhh those babies, vs. getting pretty wingers...

Oh man, this is a tough one. I love TAFs and I recently discovered the joys that are Wingers. :wonder: I'll go for wingers! I got that 25 cent Little Flitter at the Salvation Army and now I want more. Not that I expect to find more two-bit wingers at the thrift store, or anything. :P
I'm also starting to getting sucked into butterfly things.

Big Brothers. I already have most, but some of them need upgrading. And this is one set where I would like to get all their accessories, and I don't have any of those yet. So yes, I would love to complete my big Brother collection, accessories included.

My choice isn't on there. My goal is Merry Go Round ponies.

i looove bright eyes and want to re-buy her. and i love quackers TTT and fizzy!!! and locket, with mint hair!
mimic is cool too but i love those ponies :)

I went with the newborn baby ponies. They are so cute. I just need the hardest ones of all sandcastle and shovels. I have other sets to complete. I even have to get one of the summer wings from the second set yet. I keep telling myself one day. :/

I would love to complete a So Soft collection that is mint. I have one so far :)

Working on completing the Big Brothers set as well as the Baby Ponies and Baby Pony Pals.

Haha this is pretty easy for me since my newborns and TEs are already complete. I would love to complete the TAFs and Princess at some stage, but right now given the opportunity, I'm going for the Wingers first!

I think I would like to complete either the Big Brother set or the adult Sea pony set since they're the G1's I'm most interested in. Don't plan on doing it anytime soon though :lol:

I want to at least complete both the Rainbow set and the Twinkle Eye set, but I chose the Twinkle Eye set because I want to complete it a little more than the Rainbow set. They're both gorgeous sets and two of my favorites! <3

Twinkle Eyes are my current obsession.

I put Rainbow, because I think they're so gorgeous. Some day maybe I'll get them all, but for now I'll stick to the ones from the first set that I've found.

They are so gorgeous! I'm currently waiting for a Gingerbread, who is probably my favorite of the line! If she were a unicorn, she would be the most perfect pony ever! <3 I don't think I'll ever get a Mimic, but if I can get the rest, I would be very happy. :)

It would be fun to have all of the big brothers or the flutters, but there are so MANY MLPs that I actively have tried not to finish any sets (cept Rainbow)- since I would totally run out of room.

Adult Sea Pony... they are my grail.
Now that I work with fish for a living, I realized that the Sea Ponies are basically... the MLP fish. So now I'm obsessed with them.

Yes, it was hard for me to answer this poll as well, since there are a number of sets I'm only one or two ponies off from finishing!

I'm not much of a set collector myself but having all the rainbow ponies would be lovely!

I was pretty tempted to choose Twinkle Eye since I LOVE TE ponies, but more realistically I know I'd probably collect the Newborn Twins first since I almost primarily collect G1 babies. I think someday I'd like to get customs made of the TE ponies as babies, that way I can have the best of both worlds!

I already completed all of those :drunk: Unless you count accessories, then I have a ways to go still. I put sea ponies just because that was the set I most wanted to complete, and out of all of those, I still want some of their accessories pretty bad (well, their stickers anyway, I have all of their shells) ;)

That was hard since there were about 4 sets on there where I am only missing one. In the end though, I would want to complete my TAF's first.

I really want a complete Big Brother set, but the accessories are making everything go so slowly that i am concentrating more on other sets like TAF (love all of these guys!) and of course the Twinkle Eyes
But I also love the flutters and am working on them slowly as well because I am looking for original wings.
For me it is hard not to be a set-completer collector because they are all so gorgeous I want them all, lol! :P

That would be my choice too. I have three Merry-go-rounds and three more to go! My Second most wanted set is TAF ponies.

That's a tough one... I clicked Princess ponies, because I'm actively seeking them out right now, but then there are rainbow ponies too, Big Brothers, TAF... Gotta catch 'em all.

I put down Summer & Windy Wings. Eventually it'll happen, it's just a matter of time. ^.^
I love the TAFs and TEs too, but with Munchy, Yum Yum, and Mimic in the mix... might take a while longer!
Too bad the sea ponies are so outta sight... wish I still had mine from childhood. *le sigh*

I don't feel a need to complete any sets. I just collect the ponies I like best. I picked Big Brothers, though. I don't HAVE to complete that set, but it's always good to have extra men around. ;)

I loooove the rainbow ponies, I think each and every one is pretty so I hope to have that whole set some day. The others I don't love enough to complete XD

I suppose it's not necessarily a set, but I really want to get all the first year ponies. Second choice would be all the sparkle ponies. I don't know why I like them so much, but I do!

It's a tough choice between Sea Ponies, Wingers, and Flutters! I only need Hollywood for my Flutters and I'm really in to Wingers right now, but I had to pick adult Sea Ponies because I'm obsessed with them and their shells right now :dribble: I only have one adult and no shells so I have a long way to go :lol:

I voted for newborn twins (I'm one away from completing them) but re-reading the original post, I think I'd actually vote princess and all of their accessories, of course. :)

The flutter ponies! I think I'm only missing two: Wingsong and Cloud Puff. I can't find either one in decent condition.
I think TAF ponies would be a runner up! They're so pretty. <3

Definitely Big Brothers with hats and bandanas!! I'm getting closer! It's hard to justify spending that much money on a small piece of cloth though hahaha

I picked TE even though I also want to complete pufume puff, I only have daisy sweet and red roses. ^.^

I actually would like to finish the Sweetheart Sister sets. I think I pretty much have at least one in each that I'm missing. :P I voted Big Brother though--because I sure do want all of those too!!!

I chose Princesses. I am OBSESSED. I have the first set mostly complete (dragons, bushwoolies, UK accs, just need some US accs) and working on the second. I just love the tinsel (I'm nuts like that) and the shiny and sparkly hats, wands and picks!

im almost finished collecting g1 but its just that one adult seapony to complete my years up to year 3, then again they aren't complete without there shell stands but i just can't pay up to $200 for them :(

I've recently rediscovered my love for the wingers. I have really happy memories of owning one and being endlessly fascinated by the wings. Sadly, my childhood herd has yet to emerge so they may be lost to me. But I only owned the one so I've been buying some of the rest. I'd love to own all of them. Although, poor Flurry needs a rehair and I have no idea how to accomplish that.

Hmmm I have about 50 something sets completed but I need one last set of twins...and i don't really get into the brothers much. (yeah I know, don't hate me)

Hmm no Sweetheart Sisters... I picked Twinkle Eye mostly because my "grail" i guess is Tic Tac Toe she was a much beloved childhood pony that has gone missing and I REALLY want her! I'd prob never beable to complete them. Mimic is just so hard to get if you don't want to spend a lot of money.

Wow, that's a really tough question! I'm not even sure I'm satisfied with my answer! I put down the wingers, but I really want the TEs and the TAFs, and I'm so close to completing my Big Brother set! Rainbow ponies was actually my first thought, but I already have the complete 1st set, though I haven't even started on the 2nd set yet. So hard to choose!

Hmm...toughie. It was a toss-up between TE, TAF, and the Big Brothers and Baby Brothers (My herd needs more males) But I went with TE's because I have a lot of them already (including Mimic), and I think I'm only missing a few. But it's the same with the TAF's too, so...I dunno.

So Softs for me. Just Crumpet and Satin n Lace to go. I think the Pony Friends are the only other set on that list that I have yet to complete. :)

Out of the sets that I still need to complete, I'm having a real tough time deciding which one I wanna complete first!!! :faint: I'm torn between Princess (I need 2), so Soft (prolly the set with the most gaps in my collection I think) , wingers (need 4 WW), and rainbow ( still need some of the second set) :awake:

I'd love to complete the adult sea pony sets, but given how rarely some of them come up, even without shells, I despair of being able to do so. It doesn't help that when they do come up, I typically don't have money or cannot justify spending it. ;)

Hmmm, I think that the original unicorns, pegasi and earth ponies from like... 1983? Would be a good set to complete. I've almost done it.
