Hey guys, long time no post :P
I'm finally looking to get a BJD! But I don't like the fact that it seems like they all require weeks or even months of waiting time between ordering and shipping. At least, all the ones I'm looking at do. I've found two sites so far that sell all different BJDs "in stock" that claim to ship those immediately though, but there never seems to be more information about it on their sites (like how long the actual shipping takes, etc) So my questions are,
1. What are all the trustworthy sites are there that sell in-stock dolls? and
2. Do they really ship immediately? I mean, is there a catch, like shipping travel time takes like 6 weeks or something? lol.
Thanks in advance! I'd also like to note that in particular I'm looking at resinsoul dolls, as a first-time buyer who isn't sure if she's up for caring for a $500-600 fragile item yet. :blush:

Both DenverDoll and Mint on Card have both pre-order and in stock dolls available. They do have the in stock listed on whos' actually in stock and who's a pre-order. Everything on Junkyspot is in stock. All three stores ship within the week for in-stock items.

Thanks! I've narrowed down the doll I want and I believe I want resinsoul Ya.... with normal skin, which no one has in stock so far -_-

Mei and Ya are the same dolls, Mei just has elf ears if that helps :)

Yeah I might get Mei if I can't find the Ya I want... I just would have to get a wig that covers the ears, I am not a fan of them x.x

I can't remember how long ResinSoul takes to ship. You may want to contact them, I want to say I thought they were one of the faster companies. You could also sign up on DenofAngels, but it takes a while to get marketplace access.

The wait time can actually be beneficial because it gives you plenty of time to choose and purchase eyes, wigs and clothes. My FairyLand dolls are both going to have 4-5 full outfits by the time they get here. Ha ha!
According to ResinSoul's Waiting Room on DoA they ship in about a month's time and it takes about a week for the doll to arrive once it has shipped. So, actually, the wait time will be quite short (relative to dolly wait times).

I have a Mei I'm thinking of selling. She is normal skin. I have a wig that would come with her as well. If you don't find your Ya let me know. I'd be willing to work out a deal on her.

Junky Spot tends to ship the same day the order is made. Or, at least, that's my experience. The doll usually arrives in a week. I've only done layaways with DenverDoll and MintonCard, but both are easy to order from and quick to reply to eMails. (MoC only takes credit cards, no Paypal tho) :satisfied:

Ooohh, that's fast. And tempting. My boyfriend wants to buy me the doll for Christmas, so that's part of the reason I don't want the wait- I want it in time for the holidays, or at least close.
Also, does anyone have any good pics of Mei/Ya with the white skin? It's becoming a tough decision!

Ooh, Ya is going to be my first girly too. I'm currently waiting for her (OMGOMGOMGOMG I'll be getting a shipping date soon...*ahem* sorry). Honestly, all the reviews I saw for resinsoul's site say that it doesn't take more than a month and shipping. It might be worth the wait! :D
Oh, and what helped me win over for my dolly, I searched the name (resinsoul ya) in Flickr and Deviantart and looked at owner photos.
