I am not actually sure if this is in the right section it is kinda a brag/question. I got this lot off eBay for 75p personally I think i got a good deal in all....well you be the judges

the two baits I think I am going to combine I think I have some green dollyhair some were in my house (not sure were though)
I have reattached the tails of the two merponies:

And I have restyled and undone the tail on the other one:

I already have a custom that is themed around winter so the autumn one fits in nicely.
But I want to know two things:
1. does anyone have any ideas about what I can do to finish off the purple pony I think she is missing something but am not sure what???
2. Does anyone have any idea who made them I would like to know what there names are if any at all?

The way the tail is made in the first one looks very familiar to a customiser i have seen on these boards recently, i hope they come lurking on this board as i cant remember for the life of me who it was, i will have a look arround for you though

I found the purple pony, her name is Ariel and she was made by naylastar ... i knew i saw her somewhere

You definitely got a great deal! Looks like the creator got tired of customizing-
Considering that the artist sold them to you in unfinished/broken states, I seriously doubt she would mind if you fixed/finished them- and in fact I am sure she expected that to happen- poor unfinished ponies!
They are all really beautiful!

yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the same pony. and I too wonder where her tail is
what a shame that someone didn't love them enough to take care of them, but at least they're in a loving home now!

jelzar: You must have an amazing memory to recognise her from a single picture :hug: . Since it looks like that is how she is ment to be i am going to leave her as is. i was just not sure before if she was finished. but you are right If I decide to change her I will ask Naylastar

The seller did specify in the listing that they had tried to keep the tails on but did not have strong enough glue
I mean I have had to us the glue they use to stick upvc windows together as the super glue was not good enough.
though the blue pony did not come with a tail but it (But I agree that it is the same pony) I have some ideas of what to do with her as I love the colors used in the hair. But I am totally chuffed with my buy and I think that Naylastar did a great job with them.
Just need names for the other two????? :biggrin:

I'm pretty sure that's the same pony looking at her symbols and hair, plus the wires sticking out from where her wings were adn the gems

Haha i even surprised myself! i just knew that tail from somewhere as its so stylised!

The other merpony is called Melody and the blue one was called Merillia Lagoona when she had her tail and it looks like it may have broken beond repair.

she is the same pony...she did have some bits of wire on her display side but nothing else....I don't think my restoration skills can get her back to looking like that though :(

Oh dear! I wonder what happened to Merilla? She was a commission I took a while back but she's not even a year old:( And Ariel:) It's good to know that they are in a good home now.
I have a feeling the buyer may have tried to modify her because she has bought previous customs from me and has modified them. I wasn't too happy about it but I didn't say anything. I suppose when you buy a custom, you can do what you want with it. Meh.
That tail was well anchored in place.

That is an awesome deal you got! Congrats! Though as a customizer it does make me sad to see others' customs have been treated this way. I'm glad they've found a good home now though.

This honestly terrifies me as a customizer :cry: I would hope that the creations we work so hard on would be cherished and loved, not torn apart and treated as overglorified baits... I would probably break down and cry a little if I found any of my creations treated this way :sad:

thanks for the hugs trust me I needed them, it was a shock I can't belive it ended up like that the horn and wings were well ancored in place. I want to help the new owner because I made them and I don't feel right not helping and I was so proud of them I want to help make her lovely again. This makes me terrifyed of what happened to the three other season I made to go with her.

naylastar sadly I really don't think she will ever be as she was as my restoration skills are shall I say limited but I am defiantly going to do something with her just not sure what yet

that terrifies me as a customizer as well, I would be absolutely devastated and angry if someone did that to one of my ponies... I only want my ponies to go to loving homes where they will not be mistreated and torn apart. :(
I for the most part will only take commissions from people on the arena, or people I personally know will treat them well, I don't take commissions from random people because I don't know who they are.
I'm also terrified to sell the customs I'm so proud of now :( I know ones that I truly love and really don't want to part with, if I sell them I do ask the person I sell them to that if they ever do need to get rid of them that they contact me first to see if I want to buy them back before they sell them off elsewhere to at least give me the chance to have my most loved customs back in my possession. I was recently forced to part with a custom that I really loved because I needed money to help pay my rent :( but I know she went to a loving home.

Lol, if you didn't want her, I would absolutely take her back. But I am honestly glad she is with someone who will appreciate her and give her a new lease of life:)

Naylastar, Bluemoondreams, I'm so sorry you've had to see your customs reduced to this! :cry: This is terrible to see, and makes me worry as well.
Why would someone buy a custom pony then turn around and use it as a bait? O_o Trying to reverse-engineer to find out how it's made? Or do they have a child that doesn't listen when mommy says "no-no, don't touch"? :yikes:
Makes me glad I've only done swaps so far, and as far as I know, all my customs are with people who like them. I don't think I could bear seeing one of my customs have this happen to it. Kind of like someone messing with your child, yes? :huh:

Poor ponies! Sorry it happened to you both Nay and Bluemoon, I recall to have seen someone posting pics of ponies on DA...crediting them to other artists but saying something about modifing them but I really cannot recall their name :huh:
At least now they will be loved and fixed :)
