Polls addict here! Who's your favourite boy???
Tough choice! I'd say Chief from the Big Brothers, Mountain Boys Icy or Fireball, and Nirvana Spanish Texas.

Now THIS was a tough choice! It has to be a tie between Tex and Daddy Sweet Celebrations, with SC coming in first by a tiny margin. He's a childhood pony, and one of my favourites from back then (not to mention my only boy pony as a kid). But...Tex is just super-awesome, and I'm FROM Texas, so... Gaaaah, it's such a hard choice!!!

I really like Chief, and I have him, too, but apart from Wigwam who I'm yet to acquire I don't really fancy collecting any of the other fellas :lookround:

It was a tough choice between Barnacle and Steamer for me. It's the same choice I had to make as a child when my mum bought them and said I had to pick one to keep for myself and the other would go to friend. What a horrible choice to give me. :cry:
I chose Steamer, but Barnacle was one of the first new ponies I got as an adult. :biggrin:

I voted Nirvana- I LOVE the Columbian Purple Daddy Apple Delight. I'll never own him of course, but I hope to customize me one sometime :D
Non-nirvana, I would have voted for 4-speed. I didn't care that much about him until I got him, now I just love him!!! I love Wigwam's orangeyness too :D

Barnacle, followed by Ice Crystal. Barnacle was the first boy pony I ever bought, and one day I hope to own an Ice Crystal. I really like 4-Speed too. All the boy ponies are awesome, it makes it hard to pick just one!

Trucker or Chief for me. Chief probably wins just as "chief" was what people used to call my dad and his favourite colours were blue and yellow - so this pony has a special place in my heart.

I voted for Fireball. Boys from my childhood collection: Steamer (he married Mimic), Tex, and Salty, all still NM with accessories. Since then I've gotten the other Brothers with hats and most bandanas; a few could use upgrades though. Also have the Apple Delight family from childhood, and acquired the others through the years (except I think I still need the SC baby); have some NC's too. Won a lucky auction for MIB Tux last year. For MB's I have NM Ice Crystal and Fireball, a very nice Lightning, and a pretty good Sunburst (has age spots); still need the others.

Wigwam! He and Daddy Bright Bouquet were the only males in my childhood collection. I wanted more boys but I don't remember if I actually communicated that to my parents or not (or if they would have cared if I had). XD
I love Wigwam's colors. His orange body looks great with his white and blue mane! I also have a thing for white-haired characters in general. :) He was one of the first childhood ponies I managed to get again when I started collecting G1s.

But it's not only that, orange ponies just have that special something. I only wish I could get his headdress, my Barnacle is complete but the other two are still missing all their accessories.
Mountain Boys are cool, of course, but none of them has made me go "OMG NEEEED!" :D I think Sunburst and Tornado are my faves among them, personally I don't get what's so special about Icey... *ducks fakies* He's a pretty boy, but maybe just too pretty for me? :D Or maybe it's the pastel colours, I love pastels but when it comes to boy ponies, I prefer bold and bright colours.

I agree; I love my NM Icey, but he's actually just a little too pretty to be my fav boy. I think that's why I prefer Fireball.

Steamer is my fav'. I remember seeing him in the commercials back in the 80's and wanting him, but could never find him. Didn't get him until 2006. Tornado is a close second.

This WAS A hard choice! While I absolutely LOVE the US Big Brothers because of their darling accessories (Seriously - Salty is SO CUTE, and Wigwam! I can't get enough of his color scheme and headdress)... but I had to go with my absolute favorite: Ice Crystal! I'm fortunate enough to have Ice Crystal in my collection, though the poor boy obviously liked to rough house, as he has a scrape on one of his cheeks...
The light mint green and white is so striking, he'd make a lovely boyfriend for Lyra Heartstrings, dontcha think? (Oh yes, I went there, and crossed ALL the generations to make a cute couple, LOL)

That was hard! I love all the boys. I voted for Tex since he was a special one for me growing up. Slugger, too, has a special place in my heart since he was my first Big Brother. I also think Chief, Ice Crystal and Sunburst are really pretty. Too bad there wasn't a choice of "All Of Them!" (I would have voted that way.

Sadly, I do not remember any of the boys of old. I remember one cartoon where they were featured, and that is it, when it comes to the colts/stallions.

Sunburst is my fav mountain boy pony, Steamer is my favorite big brother, and I have always loved Tux, so it was difficult to choose, but I went with Sunburst.

I think Lightning is my favourite.
I also love Ice Crystal and Sunburst, actually pretty much all of the mountain boys (I love weather symbols).
One day I hope to get a Wigwam with his headdress. I love him, too!
G4-wise, I am crazy over single blind bag boy pony.

We have seen all except for Lightning at the moment but I am sure he ll turn up at some point.

My custom mountain boy is called Tsunami and was a creation of Kcherry here on the arena. I'm working on a few alternates myself and will put up some pics when they are finished, may even ask for help to name them. Sunburst was an amazing surprise. My hong kong version is on his way so I can post pics of the two together soon.

But, if I have to go with one of the boys who was actually made as a figurine, I'd say Ice Crystal. I love his colouration! :)

i went with chief. he's the only male pony we had in the family *it was my brother's, but is in my collection now. only missing his bandana and comb/brush which were lost oh so many years ago*
but i love all the boy ponys....they are unique and a rare sight :D

Barnacle and Salty. I like Salty because he's my only BB, but I think Barnacle is so cool and pirate-y. He's been my most-wanted pony for a long time now
