A friend shared this link on FB: http://www.wishbookweb.com/
And I copied the MLP images to share with y'all! Remember?? Post if you had any of this stuff!!
I had almost everything - except the clock - and several of those 80's sleeping bags!

I love the arena this time of year when all the old toy ad threads pop up :) Some of the merch is really interesting
-
This awesome!! Thank you for sharing with us! I love to see old pony stuff!
-
I love seeing these things! I remember looking through one of those catalogs when I was five. :)
-
Awesome pics! :)
-
I had that nightgown!!! I remember my mom would have me circle all of the things I wanted for Christmas from the Sears and JC Penney catalogue. :)
-
I LOVE these threads!
-
Wow, I wasn't even born yet! It's neat though to see old catalog stuff, but makes me sad sometimes I cannot buy it. >_<
-
This brings back memories. I remember desperately wanting a pony or transformer tent and sleeping bag. They always seemed to be a staple in the sears catalogue, or at least in the Christmas Wishbook edition.
-
Love old ads.
I think it's funny that Sears carried ponies. Mostly now it's just appliances and crap

You might be thinking of Sears Hardware. But then again, I haven't seen any non-hardware Sears stores around in a while. *shrug*
I wish Santa would make a pony clock for me this year. ^.^

I love seeing these old ads! Thank you for posting! I wonder if there are any more clocks like that?

There could be Sears with lots of stuff, but pretty much every store near where I live, even the non Hardware stores carry barely any other stuff, mostly shirts and kitchenware

Oh wow! I wish Sears was still like that. Sears is crap now. :(
I wish I could buy all that stuff like... right now.
-
That ad is a couple years older than I am! :P
Pretty cool seeing these. I remember when my cousin and I were kids, around Christmas we'd take the wishbook and circle everything we wanted and write our names around it. By the time we were done we'd have like....half the toy section circled.
-
awwww, look at the nightgown, isnt it adorable?? <3
-
Well, I learned a new word today thanks to this thread - passel. "Passel of ponies" is just fun to say! Passelofponiespasselofponiespasselofponies... :P
Thanks for sharing the scans btw! Oh, what simpler times...
-
I love those pictures. I never seen any old catalogs from 80s JCPennys I wonder if they had ponies in there too.. Anyhow I have a Sears close by and their toystore department is seriously lacking. :/ They are usually high priced. I can't wait for the Target opening in spring or summer. Le sigh.
-
Oh look at the shiny pretty Megans Place *drools*
And I would have loved [and would still love] that LS clock! Very cool.
-
OMIGEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRD!!!!!!!!!! WANT THAT CLOCK! :dribble:
-
Very cool, I remember looking for Breyers though not ponies in the wish books. I was way past ponies when they came out.
-
I wish I could go back in time and order all of it!! :P
-
Thanks for sharing, these are super neat to look at! I love those plushes XD I wish Sears still had ads for ponies.
-
I love these vintage ads so cool. and yes pony clock is made of awsome!
-
oooh! i love looking at old magazines and clippings like this. it's like a rewind to the old days.
-
Can't see the pics ... :(
-
Thank you so much. Looking at those pics was a trip down memory lane. I so remember those catalog pages. I would spend hours going through the Wish Book. Those sleeping bags and the bed tents I wanted to badly (She-ra & MLP) but never got them. I don't think any of my ponies as a child came from Sears but I loved the pictures.
-
Oh I want to grab that play tent and sleeping bag and camp out with Hippity Hop!
-
Wow, what an cool ad. That clock looks awsome.
