Hope I created this poll correctly :)
I was inspired to ask this question after watching some epsodes of MLP Tales today.
My favorite as a character is Bright Eyes. She is a bit know-it-all but shares my interest in environment and biology, is sensible and still looks the most beautiful in my opinion. I love that how every MLP Tales character even has their own hair style.
(But as an actual pony figure my favorite is Sweetheart because she was a present from my mother for my first school day. And because Bright Eyes is in Tootsie pose which is one of my least favourite of G1 poses.)

I haven't seen the cartoons, but I like Patch the most based on colors and symbol. :) Bonbon would be #2 on my list.

I voted Sweetheart but my ultimate favourite is Teddy ^.^ I think the two balance each other so nicely. As a kid I think Patch was my favourite although I do love Melody's bright colour scheme.

I've never seen the cartoon, but just based on ponies, I like Clover best. She's in one of my favourite poses, and though I'm not usually partial to pink-and-purple ponies, something about her is just so pretty! ^.^ Maybe her symbol just makes me think of Minty? Anyway, I like her bestest.

Hoo boy. Tough one between Sweetheart and Patch. Maybe if Patch had gotten more episodes and development I'd have voted for her, but Sweetheart won today. She can be a little insufferable, but she's just so kind and loyal. I love Patch because she gets things done!

Of the seven main, Clover is definitely my favorite. I can really relate to her personality. I finally got her in minty condition about a year ago. She's so pretty. The only one I need from this set is Bright Eyes. Though, I will admit my Patch and Bon Bon need upgrades.

Sweetheart is my favourite of the seven girls (white with pink hair is one of my favourite pony colour combinations!), but I love them all. Bright Eyes is in my favourite pose, but there were bits about her cartoon form that annoyed me to death.
Lancer is my favourite character in Tales overall though, as the name suggests. :)

Love that G4 Bright Eyes, NoDivision. She and Sweetheart would have been my next choices, after Bon Bon.

I've never seen it but after looking the summary up I thought I'd like Bright Eyes best. It sounds like a cute show!

Bon Bon! I love how sweet and naive she is. Plus, I relate to her personality. She loves junk food, she tends to get needy sometimes, takes things personally very easily, is very self-conscious, has unattainable dreams, and she complains an awful lot...just like me XD Plus, I love her colour combination!

While my favorite overall is Ace, I chose Starlight. I can relate to Sarlight, Clover and Sweetheart. I need to rewatch Tales. <3

I have never seen the Series either - so I don't know anything about their roles in the series.....
But I do have the set of 7 My Little Pony Characters, so from just their looks I like Sweetheart - because she looks like a "Sweetheart" and "Patch" because I (try to) do Patchwork! :lovey:

I chose Bonbon, because she's my favourite colour combo, and she's a childhood pony :lovey:
but when it comes to choosing by the actual TV show characters, I love Sweetheart and Clover. their personalities always make up for a nice episode ^^

I could never make up my mind as a kid on who was my favorite :P I loved Bright Eyes for her interests which were similar to mine, I liked Patchs attitude and I loved Sweetheart for her personality.
I was always so anoyed with Melody, BonBon and Clover for some reason XD
Today my favorite is Sweetheart, again because of her sweet personality :)

Haha I also think I would myself be more like Clover in that she's clumsy and not extremely good in anything specific like the other major characters. But Bright Eyes is who I think is the most admirable and interesting and who I'd like to get to know :)

I've never seen the cartoon but my favourite pony is Bon Bon. However, with what you said about Bright Eyes, I guess I'd choose her for the same reason, biology and environment are my main interests in life :)

I think this is a great idea for a poll because I love the 7 tales ponies. Clover got my vote but really I think they are all stunning :)

This one is really hard for me. I was about six when 7 tales came out, so I remember this show more than I do the original MLP. I remember going to a friends house and getting out our MLP toys and watching the show when it came on (at the time my family didn't really have t.v.).
I know as a kid I loved Melody, and I had one....somehow. I'm not sure considering we live in the U.S. how my mother managed to get one. :blink: She was my favorite some because of the color being a girl that liked pink, but I also liked how sassy she was and when she sang.
Now that I'm older I love Bright Eyes since she has such a deep interest in her education, but I've never been a fan of her colors. If I had to pick a pony colored based now it would be Melody or Bon Bon.

Gotta go with Sweetheart <3 Not only is she the prettiest of them seven in my humble opinion, but she's got the most adorable personality and the cutest relationship ever with Teddy. I'm usually pretty picky about my pairings and whatnot, but they just have to be the most adorable couple ever, largely in part to her genuine affection.

I'm surprised by the popularity of Sweetheart. Although I love my Sweetheart, I thought she would be a bit plain for most tastes.

I think so!
Tales gets a bad reputation of being just about looking pretty and crushing on boys, but I think it is really deeper than that.
Unlike many "girl" shows of that time the characters actually have varied personalities, strong opinions as well as both flaws and talents.
I still enjoy it as an adult and I loved it as a kid, totally wish there were more episodes than there are :)

Aww, poor Patch, she came in dead last :( I like her because she's so unique, not too many peach ponies other than her and Peachy, that I can think of right off. I love this whole set, though, because the simplicity of their design reminds me of the very early G1's.

I haven't watched Tales, but Bright Eyes has the best design to me. I love her hair colors, her cutie mark is cute and she's just overall very well color-coordinated and pretty to me.

From the girls my nr. 1 pony is Patch for her unic pechy body color with her light pink hair +her personality not mentioned how special pony she is in the show because the most odd things happening with her.
I also like Teddy and Sweetheart and they the OTC for me because they are ballancing out eachother. :lovey:
Oh how I would die for some fresh MLP Tales romantic fanfictions but I can't find any fresh one. :cloud:

I adore MLP Tales. I was about 7 when it aired, so I was just the right age to really appreciate it (whereas I had been a bit young for the original ponies beyond "ooooh shiny").
As for my favourite... for some reason, and I to this day cannot tell you why, my favourite was..... Melody. I know right?! She's second lowest after Patch in the poll! And funnily, I really love Patch too, because she was so open-minded. She saw Squire's ghost, and she met the Glowing Magical Ponies, and she never told anyone because they wouldn't believe her but it was enough that she experienced those things. I loved that about her.
Bon Bon... has my favourite design, but she's such an unpleasant pony. Sweetheart is cool, but too nice for my liking - she and I would have a lot of disagreements. Though her thing with Teddy was adoreable. Bright Eyes, gorgeous design and cool pony, but a tad one-dimensional. Same goes for Clover.
Starlight I never warmed to as a child, but as an adult, I actually love her, and voted for her in this poll. Why? Because she has Melody's glamour, a lovely design, Bright Eyes brains and logic, Sweethearts rationality - she's a well rounded, head-on-her-shoulders pony. I think she was a bit too grown up for me when I was 7, but I appreciate her now.
She (hair-do version) was the first pony I got when I restarted my collection last week :) Melody (rollerskates) and Melody (regular) arrived just after.

Based on the show it's definitely Patch, thanks to her cheeky personality. A friend kept telling me I'm like Bright Eyes but I'd been happier to resemble Patch! I like her design as a toy as well. My second favourite would be Bon Bon, both in the show and as a toy. Bright Eyes' colour scheme is great but the Tootsie pose ruins her for me.

I voted for Bon Bon because she is a childhood favorite. I have always loved tales since I was a kid and I still do! ^.^ My second favorite when I was young was Brighteyes. And I have to say, Clover become more and more a favorite now for me :) I like her colors and personality. But I voted for Bon Bon anyway~

To me it's just the second worst after the Gingerbread pose, but certainly awkward enough!

I kinda like the tootsie pose, it looks curious and I think it goes with her personality pretty well :)
While alot of the others are prettier, it also makes sense that BE would not have a 'show off'-ish stance like say, Melody has ;)

I think that from childhood Patch was my favourite, but it's a bit dim in my memory at the moment! I hardly saw an 7 Tales as I think it was only on Sky, but I remember how they were from the comics :)

Good point. I used to think BE would look nice in the Quackers pose but it perhaps looks too smug for her!

I think BE would have been nice in the Sugarberry pose. It's a bit more bashful than the Posey pose, but her eyes would have been looking up, which I think would have been great. Patch didn't really suit the Sugarberry pose - she could easily have been in the more playful Quackers pose.

I agree about that Bright Eyes' pose suits her personality very well.
Even though it's not one of my favourite poses. But the Tales ponies have longer manes so in my opinion Bright Eyes looks more beautiful in this pose than for example Tootsie or Snowflake who are in the same pose but have shorter manes. The longer mane somehow seems to balance this pose.

I love that Bon Bon is currently winning! I don't know if it's my nostalgia for the Lemon Drop color scheme she has or what, but I always preferred her to the others

I haven't seen much of the show, but based on ponies alone, Bright Eyes and Patch.
I also really love the design for Lancer. I'd like to have a custom of him one day.

I loved the show when I was little so it was fun to see some of the episodes again!
