Jinafire is amazing. I love every single aspect of her! She's a gorgeous doll, and her hair is super soft! Her tail seems to be attached really well, unlike some of the werecats' tails that fall out easy. I also love her outfit! Skelita is super cool as well. Her only downside is that her knees don't bend very easily. I'm afraid to try to bend them because her legs might break. I do love the details of her skeleton body though. Her hair is also really nice. If you have any questions, just ask! :)

I don't want to sound weird, but what does Jinafire's torso look like? Also, how flimsy does Skelita feel? Does she feel solid, or is she as fragile as she seems?

Me too. I can't can wait 3-4 months for them to show up here in NZ. Really I can. But damn, I really want Jinafire. She's the only one I actually want. I don't like Skelita at all, and I don't really want the others' dolls, although I might just get them for their outfits and sell the dolls nude as I usually do.
I would like to see close-up pics of Frankie and Clawdeen please.

The only flimsy part of her is the fact that her knees don't bend well. I did figure out how to bend her knees just now. It's hard, but doable. The rest of her seems to be fine. I don't think she'll break any easier than the rest of them. This 2nd year medical student is annoyed by the fact that she's not anatomically correct but also geeking out over her being a skeleton in general.

No holes for wings on Jinafire. As for the pelvis on Skelita, it looks better in person. Her sacrum is too thick and her ilia are too elongated for a real person, but it works given the shape of the other MH dolls.

Congrats on finding them! So pleased for you :) Hopefully they will suddenly appear in stores everywhere - Mattel must know the hype surrounding these dolls, so xmas rushtime should see them everywhere, including the UK and NZ. Mattel would be stupid not to release them after xmas.

I dunno. With regards to NZ, it's Mattel Australia that decides when to set the release dates, and at the moment, they're running about four months behind. For instance, we only just got Robecca and Venus this month. So I'll be (pleasantly) surprised if the Scaris dolls show up here before Christmas. It's more likely we'll get them in April.

Scaris Frankie and Clawdeen are both very pretty! Both of mine have really nice hair and face-ups. I love the added details of their outfits and accessories. Unlike most Clawdeen dolls, this one got a nice outfit! I like her dress a lot. It suits her theme without being flashy and tacky. My only complaint for these two is that Clawdeen's shoes tend to fall off.

All of them came with something of the sort. Clawdeen's, Jina's, and Skelita's are sketchbooks. Frankie's and Rochelle's are more like trip diary/scrapbook-esque things. I can post a pic of them if you want.

Wow, that Clawdeen really looks nice! I do like the outfit she comes with.
And that Rochelle... :heart: I was planning on buying her to get her outfit since I already have the Signature one of her, but golly, she's tempting!
I just love how Jinafire's scales look/work on her! I didn't think they'd go into detail like that, especially with the way her torso/belly looks. :D
*sigh* and I thought I was going to be done with MH doll shopping for a while whenever I find Jinafire. xD There goes that!

First off a Big congrats to you on your awesome find, they are gorgeous :cheer:!! That being said though I thought I was going to be able to resist the scaris line and just get Rochelle,Duece and Caterine Demew but nooo you had to take them all out and display them so nicely (by the way thank you for taking the time to do that ^.^) that now I want them all lol. I have to say I am impressed with Mattel on how they did the body of Skelita. I figured they would just put a outline of a skeleton on a regular MH doll, but no they surprised me and went all out and made a actual skeleton and I like that Jina doesn't have that panty outline that the girls usually have :blush:. Yeah I know how that sounds :lol: her design does look better w/o it though lol :satisfied:

Would never have thought to look at Justice...and my daughter's birthday is Sunday, so this is perfect! She is going to FREAK, she thinks they aren't coming out until 2013!!!! Bones only bend if you have a serious vitamin deficiency or metabolic disorder. It's called osteomalacia. ;) They aren't super bendy, but they do have some give to them. I straightened them out a bit after I took the pics. I'd rather them be a little bendy than extremely fragile though. They at least feel like they won't snap in half when you try to pose them.

Thanks for posting about your finds! I would have never thought about looking at Justice for MH dolls. I went there before work today and was able to get to Jinafire and Skelita! So happy to have them now!

Scaris Clawdeen is just as glorious and beautiful as she was in my dreams...
Also, what is happening to me? I'm not super interested in Skelita anymore (don't get me wrong, her concept and body mold are super cool, the walleyes are just a turn off)... and now I REALLY want Jinafire! XD

I dunno man, I've seen tons of China-made dolls and none of them even have the hard scalps. This is including almost all of the new releases too, like Dead Tired 2.0, Roller Maze, Dance Class, Dot Dead Gorgeous... etc. Is it possible someone erroneously reported their doll with saran hair's manufacturing oil as having the glue?
Indonesian, huh? I guess I'll have to be careful, then :c

Jinafire and Skelita were made in Indonesia. It's stamped on J's back and S's leg.

I've found that her knees seem to loosen up some once you've bent then a few times. First time or two were scary and made me feel like I was going to break her, but now her knees bend normally but still a bit tightly :)

The shoes, so totally a great example of well sculpted, but bad colors. (except for Clawdeens).
I really don't like the color of Jinafire's shoes. I know it's matching her accessories, but it's jsut so out of place!

I grabbed JinaFire and Rochelle a few days ago at Justice. Just under $22 each with tax! Those are the only two I wanted so I'm all set for this line! <3
