Is the one airing on Nick a remake/reboot or is it the old one? Never seen it, but thinking of watching it and was wondering if there was 2 different shows or something

Was watching the old ones when they were 'new' 9particularely the first season and a bit of the second) so it may ring a bell with me

It's weird. From what I understand it's a new English dub of the same series that's airing on Nickelodeon. I don't watch it, but I keep up with TV shows in general and that's what I know. *shrug*

I didn't know it was airing on Nick. I'll have to check it out.

It's a continuation of the original show just dubbed with new actress's. Though the show continued on in Italy, it did not continue in the United States for a few years. So Nick bought the license and is now doing it. It's a good show! :biggrin:

I was actually stoked when it got picked up again becauseeee my favorite actress, the lovely and talented Molly Quinn got to play Bloom!

Yeah, I liked winx club too, though if I get my hands on this ill probably not like the new voices too much. You get in your mind how a character is supposed to sound like^^

Didn't they also take the first few seasons that were aired before in the US and condense them so viewers unfamiliar with the series could get brought up to speed?

Yep. They made a tv special with the key plot lines of the first part of the series. :)

I have no clue on that lol. I don't follow a fan base of winx. I just enjoy it by myself and casually. I could see why they would though if they were hardcore fans. They'd probably see it as 'botching' their series. Dunno though. I still love the show and am glad that it got picked up again. More merch for me! :)
