Sorry to bother you all with my trouble contacting BadgerKnight, but does anybody know him privately or has close contact?
I was stupid, trusting a relatively new member by sending him the complete amount for a custom and he's no longer responding, since July.
I know there're some personal trouble and family issues but he doesn't answer neither here, nor on deviantart nor to personal emails.
Can anybody give me a tip?

I don't know him either but it looks like he has signed on here at the end of September. Has he read your PM's here?

I comissioned him in january. Paid half. Got an update at couple months later but no replies to my pms since!

I am sorry your also having issues getting ahold of badgernight :( There is already a thread looking for him from Isabella.
I'm going to merge the two so we can keep it in one place :) And hopefully someone who knows him can get in contact with him for you.

I believe I was his first commission here at the Arena, in late December 2011 or early January 2012. I paid half up front. It didn't take him longer than a couple of weeks to finish my detailed commission. I am so sorry that others are having problems with him now.
I believe his significant other is AnimeAmy. I think both of them are pretty active on deviantart. Let me know if you need that information.

That is incorrect. My Husband does work with him and he lives in the area. I will tell my Husband to let him know that he has a thread here.

Hey, My apologies. I just saw your messages, it is my fault for not staying in better contact, and for that matter not having it finished. I have been working 60+ hours since febuary and haven't had time for anything really. I will be pming you for further details. I really love doing commissions but sadly my life has kept me from it along with other things. I'm not sure how I got affiliated with Anime_amy, I don't want her dragged into this, I only know of her, our customs are not related. Sorry to make myself look so bad, I really like everyone here and there feedback they have given me on my customs. and I look forward to being able to do them again in the near future.

Oh yes have to agree with CookHuman, I got a totally awesome custom from BK! My Brotherhood of steel custom is immense! Thanks so much BadgerKnight! He arrived safely just got stuck in customs for months!

yeah they treated him nicely! i honestly can't thank you enough for him, he is amazing! If you ever have the time to customise in the future I would still love to get those Assassin's creed customs done some day!

Hello? Id like to know what I can do now? Im still waiting on the promised refund, that has been told ill get it tomoro, that was weeks ago. And he wont reply to my PM"S!!! Its so frustrating.

If he really is not answering PM's you could try to send him a paypal request - asking for the refund?
That's not the best solution but he'll prolly get back to you then!? =)

Update: my refund was splitted in 2 parts - I got the first only with a paypal request not initiated by BK like promised in his PMs. The 2nd one the same, was promised 2 weeks after the first one and wasn't done after 4 weeks yet so another paypal request has to be done. Usually I'm not that picky but trusting is truly hard at the moment as he can just be contacted though a 2nd person and neither through PM nor email.
I understand Saja completely and the paypal request is obviously the only thing that works currently.

I sent a request when mentioned here, and have sent weekly reminders, and have STILL not heard from him, not have I gotten any $ back. Is there anything I can do? Or do I just have to move on...

I'm so sorry Saja :cry: it seemed as though he was going to sort this out :( I think you should keep sending him those requests and reminders every week as you have been doing, but also leave him some appropriate feedback. That may give him some motivation to come back and sort things out (if he does, then you can revise the feedback later if you wish)

Saja. I replied to 3 of your emails. I haven't been on here in months. Only reason i was on here now was because I get a email about the negative feedback. I understand how it looks from the outside, but if you had replied to my emails over the past month i'd have known what do to :( I tried to refund you 3 months ago after we got back in contact and I explained what was going on, but the email you paid me with wouldn't work, it wouldn't allow me to pay it. So all can understand , when I began taking commissions I had a lot of free time soon after, I became a store manager. I Always kept in contact with my commissioners and got the customs done in a very timely manor. After my promotion, I tried to work on customs, when I had the time to, I had no motivation or creativity, work was draining mentally and physically. I am now laid off, I Just began receiving Unemployment to cover things from day to day life until i find something else. Didn't really wanna say it to everyone, but, it's the same thing I stated in my email. Payment will be sent as soon as I can, I also offered to do the custom and ship it.I'm sorry, I'm sure it seems like a fishy story, but It's true none the less.

To add: after the first refund you never contacted me again, tell me me about your situation so you weren't in contact with all of your commissioners.

He has just made mine super fast, and Ive just paid the 2nd part, and hes shipping him! Yay, Cant wait. So hopefully he can make yours next!!
