Title: P/C: G1 Bobbie (Happy Tails variant)
Post by: Adelius on October 24, 2012, 12:24:18 PM
Hi there!

I've decided to part ways with my Bobbie at baby_yoyo and Pangel's Pony Sale Party, and was wondering what would be a reasonable price to ask for her? I had a look on eBay completed listings, but didn't find anything ^^;

Here are a couple of pics (sorry, iPad camera!):

She's generally in good condition, nice and clean with just a couple of minor flaws; a blue ink dot on her ear and a small gap in the neck seam.
Her tail has been trimmed and has faded, but her mane still has a lot of pink left in it! (not too visible on the picture).
Her hair in general is a bit dry and frizzy too, but I'm confident that I can sort that out :)

Any help would be much appreciated! :D

The Nirvana section might be a better place to ask, but I think she's around $60 :awake: A HT variant expert should probably weigh in though ;)

I'm not sure that her tail has been trimmed actually - I think at least some of them did come with short tails. This is one of the more common versions, but still popular and I woud value her at $40-60.

Going to pop this over to Nirvana for some more ideas though ;)

i agree on around $40-$60 for her :)

she does look like the short tailed version, is her tail is thinner than a normal pony's and is her tail hole smaller than a normal pony's and more like baby pony sized? :)

The one that finished on UK ebay sold for under £20 ~ was surprised at that :)

Oh, I never knew there was a short tail version! Yes, I thought her tail hole was a bit small, I guess that explains it XD

Thanks so much for all your input, I'm very happy with $40 - $60 :D

It does happen from time to time on UK ebay, particularly if it's not labelled properly - I think mine was about that price also.

I was going to bid on her but missed it. She wasn't labelled so probably why she went relatively unnoticed. :)
