Title: Halloween Swap -- Dancing Bats for skig
Post by: PandaBerryInSpace on October 15, 2012, 10:23:27 AM: Well, skig got her pony on Saturday, so I guess I can post this now! :) I wanted to do something related to bats, and since she said that she liked Monster High, I decided to do eyelashes like Ghoul's Rule Draculaura. I made her with a FS Twilight Sparkle bait, and she was rerooted in Raven Black and Golden Auburn saran from Dollyhair.

One of my fave parts of GR Draculaura ^__^ All the little bats are really cute, I like the TAF-like design. I also really like how your color scheme is more muted, the orange isn't in-your-face. I love bright, but the darker/muted oranges you used, particularly on the hair, really add to the dark Halloween theme. They seem a little toned down anyway. I really love the orange you used in her hair. I just like her lol :3

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your comments. I had considered getting a brighter orange, but I'm glad I decided not to... Golden Auburn really had an "autumn" look to it, it reminded me of pumpkins. :) I had originally considered doing a pumpkin themed pony, so I was glad that I got to keep that sort of idea with the hair.
