Title: Yeah German Starshine is home!
Post by: NovelNerd on October 11, 2012, 03:01:53 PM: One amazing Arena member was kind enough to bid on a pony for me. Now that the auction has ended here we go.

Poor Starshine needs a lot of work, but wooo for the price. I was happy to get her today, and I got even a bit more excited realizing that Peachy is Italian. I mean obviously she's not super expensive or anything, but that makes it all the more awesome. :P

Thanks guys! ^.^ I'm very excited to get her and Peachy showed up at a wonderful time. Although now I'm kinda attached to her...dang me. Oh well. :blush:

Actually Starshine has more issues than show up really well in the picture. Her mane is covered in nail polish. Won't acetone hurt the color? She has bald point pen all over her body. I saw with acetone last night scrubbing. I got most of it faded a bit. She also has some cancer on her leg, but on her NDS neck she has a huge cancer area....again the price I paid I won't complain. That, and I love these challenge ponies.

She's actually all wrapped and in a thing of peroxide now. I'm going to try that peroxide sunfading since it seems to work wonders for people. The last two weeks though we've only had storms and nasty weather. she might be one that will not be complete till the end of the winter after random sunfading sessions. >_<

the pen marks on starshine should sunfade (weather permitting) and using acetone on her hair should be ok :)
