Title: Why do I need to test my avatar?
Post by: Pony Adventures on October 06, 2012, 03:21:21 PM
I guess I am bad at forums but why would I need to create a post to see if my sig or avatar works? Couldn't I just see if it works in a post I made, like the introduction? I don't know...

Also, I was wondering what the standard size for avatar pics was. I found all sorts of great information on signature sizes but I haven't come across avatar specifics just yet.

Thank you, in advance, for helping me to better understand.

Avatar size is 150 px by 150 px, maximum. You don't have to test your signature or avatar here, it's just an option in case anyone needs help.

Oh thank you. That makes perfect sense. Also, I wanted to apologize if I was any bit rude in asking or with how I asked. I meant no disrespect, I was honestly just curious. Also, out of curiosity, when you upload a picture to be an avatar, does it automatically get resized?

I always have trouble checking the weight and resizing the image without having distortion. It's just a way to make sure you are within the limits so you don't get bigsiged or if you can't figure out what exactly you are doing wrong. ^^
