I ordered them online, probably end up cheaper than me going to fetch them in the store anyway as I tend to end up with a bonis MH or MLP every time I go to the physical store.

How big are they? Also, does anyone else think they look kind of flat? Like they don't look fully 3-D like the Pinkie one last year. While I'm glad to finally see AJ with her hat, I don't like that they didn't include Fluttershy or Rarity.

Really? Well I'll admit I don't follow FiM all that much, just what I see on this forum mostly. I noticed Fluttershy gets left out of things more than AJ though.. But Rarity does too. I'm not really concerned. :)

But honestly, I don't really like these at all. They're not wintery or Christmasy enough for me. (excluding the Spike one, which I don't care much for either :huh:) They just look really generic and boring.

I dont think they are 3-D - the depth on the item is .25 of an inch so that implies they are flat. And $8 for 5 3D licensed ornaments would have been very inexpensive.

I had a suggestion/idea if other collectors would like them more chistmas themed. :D These would probably look amazing with snowflake confetti or glitter added to their manes. Spike is so adorable in that center ornament. I think if I do find these, I may try to winter glitz them up a bit. With some lights on the tree, they would be very shiny.

The spike ornament kinda feels like it was just kinda tossed in. Doesn't really go with the rest.

I wish they were more Christmassy but I like them none the less! Shame they don't ship to the UK :( If anyone's picking some up or ordering them I'd happily pay expenses if you wouldn't mind picking up an extra set :) xxx

Its American Greetings [who make these ornaments] who have bought over the Clinton Cards stores which didnt get closed down when they went into administration.
Although AG have been a supplier to Clintons forever, I am hoping the fact that they now owns them means we may see a few more US products over here....maybe we will even get these [although probably next year lol!]

I broke down and ordered them. I really wanted the Pinkie Pie one last year, but I never found it. K-Mart is the only place that sells American Greetings ornaments locally (Carlton Cards closed down) and they never got the Pinkie Pie. I thought about ordering her from Amazon, but the cheapest with shipping is $18 and I can't bring myself to pay that much for an ornament.

It figures that when I first saw this thread I had my fingers crossed for Rarity and/or Fluttershy, both of which were left out of the set. :P I'm an ornament junkie though, so if I see these I'll definitely have to pick them up.

I love MLP ornaments! I'll have to get these. They do look flat though. I like the 3D ones better but I will probably get them anyway.

Eh, I don't know about these. I wish, like others have said, that they looked a little more festive. That or that they were actual 3D figures (they do look flat backed) then I would probably pull out their hooks and display them with my toy collection. I would bother me Fluttershy and Rarity being missing if I did that though I think.

I wish the ponies were wearing little hats, boots, scarves, something. But they are still really nice!! And I am practically in SHOCK that they included Applejack! Hurray!!! No Rarity, though... :( I wonder why AJ, Fluttershy and Rarity are so often shunned in the merchandising.

I'm with those who probably won't get these since they are not very holiday themed. I admit that I do have a couple of G3 ornaments that are not holiday themed but those were 3D and super detailed. These just look like regular flat ornaments.

They're cute, but I would only get them to put on a special pony tree. I only put Christmas-colored ornaments on my regular tree (red, green, silver, gold), and pony colors would mess up my color scheme.

I really don't like the bits of background on the ornaments. It makes them look really cheap. I mean, if the backgrounds were completely around them, and not just in random spots, it might have looked ok. Why did they Photoshop the backgrounds out of the ornaments on the order page at TRU? That's kind of false advertising. Well, I guess I'll decide if I like them or not when they get here. Apparently they were shipped the slowest method possible because I ordered them on the 23rd and they're not scheduled to be delivered until next Tuesday. I don't think I'll order from TRU any time again soon.

Thanks for the pics klein. Love Spike the best with all those snowflakes. Now I do need to find these but they most likely will not be in my store till after halloween as that is what is taking up the front section right now.

They are listed as designed by them and they show up on stock lists as AG...you are right its certainly at the lower quality end of their normal product but they do do some budget items. Perhaps they are release the Pinkie again as their expensive MLP product and these are more for the lower end?

Got mine today. Honestly...they kind of suck in person. But if anyone wants some I have several sets available at cost.
Oh yeah, RD has eyes just like a certain grey pegasus that must not be named... And they are a lot smaller than I expected them to be.

I ordered on the 23rd and I still don't have mine and the tracking isn't very helpful. If I go to the UPS site it says:
Package Status: Order Processed: Ready for UPS
09/25/2012 Shipment information received by UPS Mail Innovations
And if I go to the USPS site, it has this:
Electronic Shipping Info Received September 28, 2012
So where exactly is my package? If the tracking is to be believed, neither UPS nor USPS has my package. I know it's not an expensive item, but this definitely doesn't make me want to order anything from TRU's site in the future. And since I don't have a local TRU, their site is my only option to buy from them, so I'm not too happy about that.

They are indeed made by American Greetings, and there were only 3 in my store before I bought mine... Didn't want to miss out on Applejack merch!
