I bought my Lily Blossom when she first came out, along with some Blind Bag ponies from Germany. She was ~4 EU. So I happily deboxed her and she has been on my shelves. Recently I saw her MIB going for as much as £17.00, which seemed a bit nuts...
I saw one MIB in WHSmiths here, for a whackingly overpriced £9.99, and despite that I still picked her up because what I am seeing is that her single release is 'rare' now. Has this been the case? I realise she's going to be released again with AJ as a twin pack, so I am keeping this one MIB indefinitely.

I don't know that she is really HTF, but with the new influx of G4 collectors who missed out on her (maybe they were not collecting when she was on the shelves) she has become fairly sought after. :)

She is hard to find right now, but I wouldn't say rare.
They made several of her.

I had a bit of trouble finding mine. I got her at a CVS (for nine dollars, grrrrr) back in late winter/early spring. I can't recall if I've ever seen her in a Walmart, and I've certainly never seen her in a Dollar General, although I've been to many and bought many g4s from those stores.

I got mine in a lot of g4s someone sold me for cheap and now I keep noticing that everyone wants her :blink:

I have noticed the crazy prices also! And I will certainly take a look in WHSmith and if I see any I'll grab them.

I got mine in a lot of g4's off ebay a while back.
I don't think I've ever seen her in stores.

I think she's a little harder to find because she was more common overseas. She was in the very early waves of singles here in the US, so I missed out on her and bought her later from a member. I don't think I would say she's rare though. eBay prices have beens super crazy lately, I think a lot of people are jumping on the bandwagon of classifying harder to find (or not) items as "rare" and selling them at rediculous prices.

Same thing happened with Kimono (and the original Star Catcher). People were afraid she wouldn't be rereleased and her price soared. Then she came out again, and it bottomed out.

I regret not getting her at first but I'll just grab her when she is released again.

How do you know there's a 2 pack coming soon? I checked the "coming soon" thread and it's there, but listed as a 2011 release.

I found here rare myself. You know I actually have a theory about Lilly Blossom. I think a TON of them were bought and customized into a certain grey pegasus with bubbles on her keister. It was pretty easy, she has the same body color (kinda) and same hair color so it was easy for a lot of beginners to dip their toe in the customization waters and get a sweet ditsy-doo custom by just repainting her eyes and symbol.
I'm not innocent either! her body color is so unique I hinted an extra Lilly to customize into a vampony myself.

I'll be honest - I bought her with the intent to customize into bubbly grey pegasus! But I never got around to it, and then the SDCC one came out... and Lily kind of grew on me. On my pony shelf, she's hanging out with Dewdrop Dazzle in a nice shady spot (so DD's hair doesn't fade out).

When she was out around where I live she was common. I saw plenty of her in stores and easily got her and Blossomforth with no trouble. Is she really being re-leased with AJ?
Edit: I was mistaken it was Cheerilee not Blossomforth that came out together. But all 3 I had no trouble finding.

I think this is exactly the reason. She was a wave 2 pony - therefore she was on shelves incredibly early in G4 and so many fans who have only come to collecting after waves like this were already out of production missed out on her.
She is indeed sailing super high in price at the moment - seems to be $35-40 for MIB and $25-30 for her loose and complete. I think, as cloud weaver says, a lot of these prices are falsely inflated and as the years on G4 pass they will simmer back down.

She got an international release as a bonus pony in a pack along with luggage playful Apple Jack. This set is quite old - out almost a year ago initially so it doesnt seem to be available much any more.

I missed her because I wasn't actively buying them then ;-; My demand at that price range is a negative, but I know that if I ever saw her again at a lower price range I'd be super happy. To me she's super HTF and I want her XDD

I only ever bought 2 of her, one to keep as herself, then i delayed until it was almost too late to grab one to turn into the 'bubblebutt pony'. Pretty sure i grabbed the last one left in town.
She didnt sell out very quickly, neither did Cherrilee. Actually where i am ponies take a while to sell out, unless they are on sale.

When she and Cheerilee were released, they were common in my area, too - I actually passed her up originally and only got her in a trade with a member here later. I think she's lovely and not particularly rare but just popular and a little HTF at the moment.

I only started buying g4 later, when I could get them cheaper... most of mine were $4 (in aus, they go from $7-$10 RRP) and fortunately I snapped up all the singles. I had trouble with (and paid full price for) Lily Blossom, Blossomforth, Lulu Luck and Dewdrop Dazzle. Bf, LL and DD came out early here, and were the first non-mane six, so I guess they were super popular here. Lily Blossom was just really popular, I'd never thought of bait value, but yeah, that makes sense as to why. All of those girls were extremely hard to find here, anyway! I can still find Twinkleshine, Snowcatcher, Feathermay and Honeybuzz in stores that haven't completely reset yet, in fact I saw them today at Northlakes Big W... before I found Cherry Pie and Diamond Rose at Target there! (YAY!!!!)

Wow. I have two Lily Blossom. Didn't know she would get rare that quick. Oh well one is still MIB.. Eheheh.

I wish I got more of her, but I only saw one of her back when she was released least year, I got her in October at Target, Cheerilee was far more common for longer, maybe cause everyone bought Lily to turn into :muffin: Pony. I wish I got two. :c

Strange how these things happen. I remember seeing her in stores and having a weird premonition thing where I thought she would be worth something later on. That's why I have three MIB Lily Blossoms in my dresser. ._. can't believe it happened actually, lol.

I live in Canada and I NEVER saw her in stores from the get go. I ordered mine on amazon for 6 dollars about a year ago along with Cheerilee.
