Title: Need advice on organizing a So-cal pony meet!!!

I want to organize one but have no idea where to start!! I love in Long Beach CA.....So those of you who have had successful meets in the past bestow me with your Knowledge!!

Like!!
1. Would a park be ok to hold it at, cause my apartment is wayyyyyyyyyyy too small
2. what activities?
3. Are potlucks ok?
4. Anthing else I should know, do or plan??

I've never done a meet but yes it's fine to hold it in a park! :)

I'll bump this for you and hopefully you will get some suggestions for games :)

You should read through some of the threads which see meets from start to finish - i.e. the first post is about holding it and then right through to the last couple of posts which are pics of the meet - normally thats a great source for information...
