How is that 'fluttershy' a princess if she doesn't have wings, or the correct eyes? Still, that looks pretty cool, though the boxes under her look very 'fakie' like, as do the pinkie and blue unicorn...

It's fashion style though...they don't have eye molds. That horn looks placed way too high on the head too.

I know, I want normal size unicorns with Pinkie style eyes (or earth heads with unicorn eyes) too.
Is it sad or good I knew it was FS size right away from the pose and cutie mark size/location?

I hadn't seen these on taobao but I just had to go look up to see bigger pics and I agree they most definitely do look like fakies.

That horn does look unusually high to be a real MLP. Could someone give us a better look at the blue and pink ones too, please? I've been wondering when some good g4 fakies would come along, this could be them. Fakie makers have been known to use official artwork before and the pony itself looks like it could have just enough changes not to stomp on hasbro's original characters. Hmmm...

Totally fakies . . . if you go on Taobao and look at a close up, you can see their tails are rooted the fakie way (individual plugs). But very cute, love the colors.

These are really nice! I wonder though, is the size that same as real FS? Because there were those fakie AJ and Rarity FS before, and those were a bit smaller than the real thing. IIRC, those were also found in Russia.

Hah these are hilarious. They are so close to real on the first glance, but when you zoom in, they look pretty funny.

Those are quite brazen fakies! They stole and modified the FS mold, stole the real vectors from the show merchandise, stole the pink box style for MLP!

Dear hasbro, please have a look at the beautiful G4 fakies on taobao and copy them, into your next toy line so they can become widely available, we at the arena love them.
such beautiful colours, sorry hasbro my moneys on the fakies, i havent seen such great colour combo's since the 80s :P
funny everyone is just lovely the yellow on yellow, count me in too and my second big want is the blue one they are all so yummy, thanks for sharing, if anyone can help me out on an order :D

I agree with Starly that yellow on yellow is bland. It's also my least favorite color, so... blehc! Pink isn't much better, but that's pretty standard for ponies so there's really no getting away from it.
But I would get lots of those blue ones if I ever saw them!

I ordered 2 blue and 2 yellow! I can`t wait. I know they are fakies but sometimes they are harder to find than the real thing.They will make perfect Lemony Gem and Colgate.

I've decided on a $3.50 deposit per pony or $9 deposit for a complete set, plus Paypal fees (if applicable). That will cover the cost of the ponies, but not shipping from China to me or from me to the buyer; that will be paid later after I know how much it will be (the more orders there are the less this should be). The deposit will be non-refundable unless the ponies are out of stock.
I'll probably keep the order open until the end of the week (Friday or Saturday). As mentioned in a previous post, if you're interested, PM me :)

Based on previous fakie packaging...and counterfeit items in general...cheap photoshop editing I would guess.

I love the box art- they look smaller than FS... maybe more the size of G1s or G3s I LOVE That everypony (cept applejack) is an Alicorn!
I don't love that the ponies themselves look like they have receding hairlines...
They are still fun- but the packaging is way over the line- at least in the US (and I suspect UK) if you tried to sell something like that on ebay- the auction would be ended immediately once ebay caught wind.

Unless Hasbro or another ebay user complained an auction probably wouldn't be stopped - honestly throughout G3 I have seen equally close copies of logos and ponies on plenty of pony packaging sold in the UK, US and elsewhere.

You are probably right- unless the seller appeared to have a lot of inventory, sporadic re-sells of fakes- even blatant infringement fakes- would probably not catch anyone's attention.
I have to say that although I have an appreciation for fakies (particularly those ones that look like Hippos, or with the teeth- or the evil eye ponies) - these are a little TOO close... It's fine so long as they are only available on Taobao- makes it likely that only zany pony collectors would collect them - but if they were widely available through a local dollar store or even ebay- I would not be happy. The product is just too similar- if they sold it for cheaps- kids might buy these instead of authentic ponies- which would make the line less successful- potentially impacting future product development.
I guess it doesn't sound like there is much fear of that so far.

If they turn up anywhere they will turn up at the low low end of the market - dollar stores and pound stores - it tends to be a different enough market that it wont damage the "official" line.
