I am simply putting this out there to warn others not to deal with this member.
She participated in a swap I hosted over 5 months ago, and her partner never received her parcel. She was in contact on and off up until about a month ago, when I set a deadline and said enough us enough, and told her that she needed to get her box out she stopped replying to my pms (they have been read) as well as those of her partner and also mods.
I think it may have just got too hard for her, but I would not like to see any other members get stung by this member because I didn't speak up.

I know it's hard to have to call out another member. But due to the lack of communication and ignoring PM's from the host and a Mod there was no other choice. It's not fair when she herself received a box and left her partner out in the cold. :huh:
kerry if you are reading this I strongly urge that you are in contact with a Mod or with Paints herself to try and clear this up. If your having issues just let someone know, ignoring it will not make things go away. ;)

That's sad. I did a really nice trade with her a while back and she was really sweet. I think like you said it must have just gotten to be too much for her.

Thanks for posting about this situation :hug: I hope that kerry will eventually come back and make things right, but in the meantime its important to keep the community aware of potential problems should they deal with this member.

I will of course update if I get any contact / she does come through with the parcel. I am pretty dissapointed, as her swap partner is gorgeous and has been super patient, I am starting to pull together a little something for her myself, because she has been such a trooper about the whole situation.
I really do hope that kerry483 has a conscience and makes things right in the long run.

On her forum profile it looks like she has a MSN account. Maybe try to contact her though there?

Ditto I'd be happy to throw in a few things if I have them. :) I've been disappointed in swaps before and it is a serious kick to the proverbial jewels.

Thanks everyone for the offers :) I am pulling a box together for her as we speak, and still no contact from kerry483 unfortunately, thought I would find this thread and give it a bump, cause I really do not want others to wind up out of pocket over her. I am not happy about this situation at all, and sea_breeze has been such a champion about it all :)

She now has 2 negative feedbacks for the same swap. I think according to the rules one needs to be removed...

Just wanted to bump this back up to say I am (still slowly) pulling a box together for sea_breeze, found a couple of cool little things over the break, and will be hopefully shipping off late jan / early feb. I have had some financial issues personally, with the welfare agency here in Australia cutting me off all benefits, so I don't have any healthcare, money or anything, but, I am doing my best to get through :)
Hoping to have enough cash to send off soon!
Also, kerry483 has still not shown her face or replied to any messages / emails etc.
I would highly suggest to never deal with her, even if she does come back & try to make it better, this has been too long and not fair on other members. She recieved a gorgeous box from the swap and at the moment, I am actually dbouting a parcel was ever sent from her end. I am sorry to be cold like that, but if you had any intention of doing the right thing, you wouldn't leave others to mop up your mess.
