I am stunned to learn I am soon to be the owner of mexican rainbow haired Firefly and Medley! I am over the moon, as they were grails of mine, but I want to try to make the hair look a bit nicer. I usually do the conditioner and curling iron treatment for my hong kong made ponies, but I have no idea how the mexican ponies hair compares. I was told Italian hair responds well to heat, are mexicans the same? Are there any exceptions?

That Starflower was stunning!! I'll be honest, these ponies were a surprise gift from my best friend ^^; I still cannot believe it!! I just don't know how the hair holds up to restoration involving heat

mexican hair responds really well to conditioning and straightening on a low heat :)

I was watching them also, but didn't bid because I already own these girls even if mine have shorter hair than I like. I did get my last two Mexicans I was missing so hopefully soon I will have every Mexican release pony! Congrats on your grails! I love the rainbow hair Mexicans too!

Both are stunning, specially Firefly!!
The hair responds well to conditioning =) (never tried out the heat treatment, but as other's said, it must repond well).

Lol, I think I bid on that Medley also, but wasn't hugely serious about winning her :) I can certainly attest to how well Mexican hair tidies up! Pkw did a couple for me a while back and they turned out amazing!!

Like Dyz said, Mexis react well to shampoo, conditioning and of course they make the lovliest curls, especially if their hair is not too dry (your girls look PERFECT for some awesome styling hun)
