This set is perfect as a backdrop for photoshoots! Let's share! I took a few photos today with my latest pony acquisitions, but my camera died right in the middle of it all. :shakefist:

This is my fave castle from all the generations! :lovey:
I think it might be mine, too! The size is really nice for the generation it's in and all of the details are colors are wonderful. Hasbro did a great job with it, and I think it can be appealing to a larger variety of collectors :)

It's nice. Though it isn't really a castle, it's actually the facade to Shining Armor's apartments.

Seriously, they should have had the stickers pre-stuck onto the castle! Either that or paint the decals directly onto the castle, or better yet, mold it in using self colored plastic!

I know! And I was already so tempted to buy it when I saw it at Walmart. I just have to tell myself that there will someday be a castle just as good at a yard sale. I can't justify buying it for display purposes, although it is adorable...

Thanks guys! I really love it for display, but I don't have a place to put it yet so it's sitting on my floor. lol I got the castle for my birthday, otherwise, I'd be waiting for it to go on sale too :p

I pre-ordered those way back when and for awhile, didn't think I'd be getting them. I am so so glad TRU came through and shipped my order before it could cancel. It would have been hard for me to get them otherwise. I know there are members here willing to help you get them for close to cost, you just have to be patient and pay attention to posts.

I like the way you stuck the stars on the stairs. It both looks nice and is original. I think it gives them more depth and breaks up that flat pink.

Seeing the castles out makes me want to set mine up but right now I have no where to put it. Once I do a little re-arranging I am so setting it up. The royal couple however is sitting with the other ponies I have on a shelf. I got mine for Christmas on sale so I was happy about the price.

Yeah I don't know what that was. I personally have been waiting until it goes on clearance because $30 something dollars is a lot and I'm not big into playsets anyway. I really love the castle though and hopefully I can get it on clearance once they start moving in more of the new stuff.

Great castles everyone! I really like this play set; it makes a nice display piece without taking up too much shelf room, and the design isn't too bad if not a bit undetailed. I decided to paint in the designs on mine, which took forever but made it really look the part!

I haven't set mine up yet. I didn't have room, but now that I got rid of my old tv, I have room on my dresser! I bought it for $20 because it was $25 at Walmart and I had a $5 off coupon that was for the castle or train so I used it on the castle because I needed that Cadance!

What great pictures of some lovely castles :lovey: I think it makes a great display but do wish Hasbro had made it more sturdy for a child to play with as my daughter's is forever falling apart when she tries to play with it.

Seeing the pics kind of makes me want the castle. But I don't really have anywhere to display it properly at the moment. But I would probably never take it out of the box even if I did have somewhere to display it. lol

I agree completely! I'm forever putting the turrets, flags, door and legs back on my daughters castle.
She loves playing with it but I think they needed to make it sturdier and more like the G1 castle.

Lols I began to use this space for when I run out of shelf space. At first I just put a few ponies that didn't fit anywhere else in my collection... instead it seems all the pony antagonists have taken over.

I got my castle earlier this year in January. I'm going to wait till I have the new mini castle that comes with AliTwi before I paint my castles to match each other. But my castle holds together my G4 Collection:

Wow! That is awesome! Does your train even make those turns though? My train has one fewer car and less intense turns and it derails if you look at it wrong.

The only turn it has a problem with is at the very bottom where it's sitting. The train seems to get confused where the track splits at those two intersection parts and it ends up derailing. I think that's the best job I can do with using as many parts as possible.

Oh my gosh, I love that little Time Turner/ Doctor Whooves cutsom! My fiancee and me are both whovians and that's his favourite pony :D
