You're broke and all these swaps are going on, and then you get unbroke and all of a sudden, the new swaps dry up! What do you guys hate about pony collecting?

I hate how I join three swaps at once and then have all these expenses. XD I have enough money, but I should be saving. They are so much fun. I hope you can join another swap soon, xkelpiex!

That Target and TRU are far away and they always have more stuff than Walmart, but my Walmart is slow on everything and TRU and Target sometimes lack stuff. :c

That there is no Target in Canada yet!

I have a love-hate relationship with my ponies at the moment.
I love receiving them in the mail, but I hate that I can't stop spending money on them. :lol:

I hate that I still can't find Diamond Rose! I have searched since May or so and she still hasn't come up. She might have been at the TRU in New York City, but I was rushed and couldn't look properly (not to mention some lady blocking half of the shelf). I don't want to resort to Amazon :cloud:

Kelpie... I'm in the same boat. I went on a pony break, and didn't buy any, or even go on the site, and I miss the one big swap I really wanted to be a part of! I suppose there is always next year. Sigh. I don't see any new swaps starting up either. :(

Same here. I cant join any swaps at the moment I have a feeling the only swap I will sign up for this year is an holiday swap. :/

When e-bay auctions end at inconvenient times.
When a whole lot of relatively rare ponies show up for sale at the same time when I have very little money, but I can't find them when I do have money.
Thinking about how much money I've given to the USPS.

Seeing all these awesome swaps and not joining them because I haven't even finished the custom I've been working on for 2 months and I don't want to find out I'm terrible after I join a swap and some poor member is stuck with me as their partner.

It's definitely when I get my paycheck, there are not many ponies to buy. Then when I'm out of money, all the good ones start showing up. Hate that >_<

I hate how it's so hard to find G1 ponies at flea markets now. And when you do find them, it's usually a toy dealer who seriously jacks up the prices to a ridiculous amount.

Oh and I thought of another one. I am an *obsessive* completist most of the time, so I hate it when I angst about whether I should start collecting a certain set because I may not be able to ever find or afford the one or two rares in it.
Also I love deflocked ponies, but I hate deflocking. Same with hair styling.

As already stated, inconvenient eBay ending times (4am, blergh!), all the ponies I want appearing when my budget is tight and I have no money for ponies, and shipping rates! Or a pony I have been after coming up for a buy it now price that is way out of my price range :(

Yeah I can't stop buying, I've got 2 in the mail on their way to me and I've just paid for a 3rd pony today. No ponies till at least October now, even November perhaps. I see people keep selling the TRU Favourites collection loose each for reasonable prices but I bet as soon as I let myself buy ponies again there won't be any for a while ^.^

I hate that I don't live near a TRU, that I don't have any on-the-shelf luck aside from very, very rarely, and that my pony hunting is nearly always a dry well. It sucks that any pony interaction I want to do involves chasing hiked prices on eBay, or feeling like some kind of eBay 'scalper' by asking people here to head out to TRU/Target on my behalf.

i hate it when I make a budget for ponies... and then compromse by buying pony 'stuff'. this week I bought a G1 bedsheet, and am winning a G1 pony storybook.... :S

I went on a mission to mine, which is also nowhere near where I live, and they had NOTHING I WANTED. Plus the aisle where the ponies are is like the pinkest place ever. I mean, I like pink, but that was just silly.

-I go on ebay because I end up bidding on stuff I don't even want! I just like bidding. :P
-Hasbro puts out a ton of cheap blind bags just to make us pay moremoremore and doesn't give any effort into making new awesome brushables -_-
-There's only one TRU in this entire half of my state, and they never have what I'm looking for.
And I had no idea there was no Target in Canada! o.0 That must make things tough! Heck if we can get your Tim Horton's you should be able to get our Targets. :P

-My local stores have skipped travelling pony waves altogether.
-The local target is a 'Target Country'. They are hopless for toys unless there is a specific sale.

I want to join swaps, but everything is wrapping up or already started now. I don't have the experience or feedback or posting number or been here long enough to swap :cry:
Also, the lack of G1 ponies in my area makes me sad.
Also, I can't find my childhood ponies, no matter where at my parents' house I look. I think they are gone forever.
Also! The only thrift shop near me (other than Goodwill) closed down and I didn't even know until today!

Something terrible happened last night. I was bidding on a custom by our very own bluemoondreams and fell asleep. Needless to say I lost by a quarter or so. I was so depressed allll day D:

How come I set a "I'm only going to spend this much" and then I get outbid by like 6 cents? I could have spend 6 cents more......
