Pretty simple :) Of the original My Little Ponies who is your favourite and why?
And if Party and Diamond turn up in this thread offering bribes for Minty - ignore them they are naughty naughty ladies....
However I offer fabulous tripe chocolate chocolate chip with chocolate drizzle cookies for all those going with Cotton Candy as the answer :cookie:

Blossom is my favorite. She was one of the first ponies I ever got as a child. I just love her color and her symbol is simple but cute. :)

Ts a hard one but I'm going to say Minty. I love my gorgeous Greek. After that it's Cotton Candy

She has no pink or purple.
Actually, clovers are my absolute favorite. And I love mint. All signs point to minty.
(Snuzzle is my no2 cuz she's got hearts and is grey! my fave color)

Took me a while to decide, but I voted for Bluebelle. I love the stars for symbols (just like Twilight, who's another one of my favourite G1s) and the colours are nice. Snuzzle would be my second choice.

Lets face it the original 6 were all about colors. So of course my fave has to be Minty.

Picking Minty only because she's my favorite color.. Even before I had the original six, she was the one I wanted most.

Aigh! What a tough call - Blue Belle was my first pony ever, but I had really, really wanted a Minty... sorry, 'Cat, have to go with the green. No cookies for me (but that's okay 'cause I should probably lose ten pounds or so anyway :blush:).
But I really love them all. Besides Minty and Blue Belle, Butterscotch was one of my favourites too since she was closest in colour to a "real" horse, and Snuzzle was neat 'cause she was grey, and Cotton Candy and Blossom with their one-colour colour scheme... urgh! Totally not a fair question. :mad:

My cousin had Cotton Candy when we were kids, so she is my favourites because of that.

Blossom would have to be my favorite of the original ponies. In a way, I knew her before I was old enough to really know what MLP was. One of my parents' friends had given her to me as a gift when I was born because my mother had painted my room the same purple as the pony and they thought it would look cute. She was always just there, lol, and was the first of many more to come.
I almost wish I still had my original Blossom, well-loved, scuffed up, tailless and all. That thing saw a lot of travels, that's for sure.

I chose Snuzzle. She is gray (I love that so many people like that about her!) and has the most adorable name in the world. The most adorable. Period.

I missed out on the collector ponies. When I was 3 when the dream castle, firefly, peachy and Parasol came out. I voted for Bluebelle though, because I love the blue/purple combo and the stars are just adorable! Minty would be my second, though. She must have Irish heritage too!

I voted for Butterscotch, because I love butterscotch candy. XD But to be honest, none of them really appeal to me. *dodges fakies* I'm not really a huge fan of the pose.

I found a Minty at a flea market for two dollars and rescued her. She was covered with black mold, but after cleaning her, I finder her heart rendingly precious! Easily my favorite, her and Peachy

Cotton Candy. She was my first one. My mom gave her to me, something about having been good when we had to do something with the baby. I thought I was 2, but since she was the CC version and I was born in 79, I had to be older than that. I still have her :)

Loves me a Mint-Mint!!! G1 and G3, they are just the best! Though I'm ashamed to say I don't have a G1 Mint-Mint (yet, *wink wink*), but every photo I see of her makes me love her more and more and I want her more than any pony else right now!

Why thank you! The strange thing is, everyone loves Minty, but I don't remember anyone actually having Minty when we were children and playing ponies. Of course the most common ones were CC and Blossom because of the colors, then probably Butterscotch, maybe Bluebell.
The same for me! My friends and I all had Cotton Candy and Blossom - I dont ever remember any one with a Minty!

Normally I'd answer Bluebelle, since I love blue ponies, but something about Snuzzle just appeals to me. The nerd in me says it's because she's the same colours as the Weighted Companion Cube, haha! Seriously, I had to vote for her, although Blubelle is a close second.

Blossom and Cotton Candy are partly more common because they came back in Year 2, which is when MLP REALLY became THE toy every little girl had to have. But partly because of their colors too, probably.
For the longest time I found Butterscotch kind of "blah", but then I found one that had the most beautiful golden hair, instead of the goldy-brown hair she usually has. Maybe she's a mail order? I don't know, but she is GORGEOUS. And her name sounds delicious.
Minty is a close second, though.
I had Cotton Candy as a kid but am kind of embarrassed to admit I never really liked her, and always regretted not picking a different pony instead.

Cotton Candy!! She was my first ever childhood pony. I saw all of the ponies on the TV add and fell in love with her so much so that my mother raced out and bought her and put her away for Christmas for me :D

For me it's a tough call between Cotton Candy and Blue Belle. I really like Blue Belle's color combination. But Cotton Candy I like just as much since she was featured in Rescue at Midnight Castle. I was nuts about that episode as a kid!

Cotton Candy because I had one in my childhood collection. I love all those ponies because their mould makes them look sort of despondent, they look a bit like Eeyore or something. Also I just got the reissue Cotton Candy and I like her bright pink rave hair :lol:

Cotton Candy is my favorite. She was my first MLP- (my sister got Minty). She always seemed so sweet and kind to me - not like that sassy Bow Tie! (also my sister's pony, heh)

I love all of them, but I chose Butterscotch. I really like the color of her mane and the leaves on her symbol are beautiful. I don't have her yet, but I want her. The only ones out of the original 6 I have are Cotton Candy (FF), Blossom (CF), and Snuzzle (CF). I keep seeing Butterscotch at the Antique Mall, but then other G1s catch my eye and I keep forgetting to get her. Hopefully she's still there, I haven't been there in about 6 months. O_o

I never had a single one of these ponies as a kid. That seems to be the fallback for a lot of us: the ones we had as children are often our faves. I have a Peachy that I love, but she's not part of this poll.
I'd have to go with Butterscotch. I was cleaning my friend's collection and I really liked hers. It made me want one.
My second would be Snuzzle. She's got a really unique color combo that I like.

Me too, because they are the same pose, and by the time I was aware of the different pony characters, Peachy and Lemon Drop were out and those were the first ones I remember specifically wanting, with the Show Stable and Pretty Parlor of course!
