Title: Moxie Girlz thread
Post by: karrie91 on August 30, 2012, 06:45:15 PM
I'm starting to really get an itch for these girls! I'm considering buying one soon and would love to really get myself excited by seeing everyone's girls and hearing about them! I understand they have Bratz type feet.. I like this! It means I don't have to chase down shoes that fall off! I love their clothes but am wondering if they fit any other dolls.. also.. pics of them with other dolls will be great!

Bring on the Moxies!

((also, please tell me they are still making new ones))

Eeee! A Moxie Girlz Thread!! I always wanted to make one! (but was too lazy. XP)

As of right now, I have 6 opened: Avery, Lexa, Sophina, Kellan, Monet and Ida!

I have the twins Jaylen and Sarai still in their box but for some reason I'm to scared to open them.

Also did a little piccy thread with them.

Kellan Moves In! (http://mlparena.com/mlp/index.php/topic,299971.0.html)

From what I know right now about releases, there's a new Bath Ballerina kinda thing they have out recently, but the only bad thing is the swimsuit leotard thing is painted on their body.

I think there are some more.

There's also the Moxie Girlz So Stylish dolls, which were just spring basic releases of Avery, Monet and Lexa. I really liked Avery's outfit.

I think they're supposed to be a Moxie Girlz Sports line that's features some of the girls dressed in sports attire that comes with accessories that match the sport they're representing. I desperately want to find these ones!!

I also saw 3 new Fashion packs I've NEVER Seen before a few days ago, and I MUST HAVE!!! So I'll be going after those as soon as I get money or so for them. I don't know if it's these three or if there are 3 more I never seen.

There was also this line that they had neon colored hair that smelled like fruits. Kinda had the Katy Perry - California Girls theme going on.

Not to mention the True Hopes Dolls that had Sophina, Avery and Jackson with no hair. TRU Exclusive.

I have no solid info but on FLickr I saw pics of a new set called Straight A Style, which had Sophina, Avery, and Ida. I also saw pics of some kind of twisty crazy hair but have no info on them. >,<;

Gah I think my crave for Moxie Girlz is coming back. XD

So much cuteness! I love their faces. These are the dolls that should have been out when I was a kid instead of Bratz! They are so darn adorable.

I love your collection! I can't wait to start my own! How tall are they compared to Monster High Dolls? Also do you think bratzillaz clothes would fit them? I have ideas for photos!

I so can't wait to get one. Maybe tomorrow after work :D

I love the new bath time ones. Did you see the mermaids? I LOVE mermaids.

Hmm, as for body comparisons, I've never been able to compare their size to MH since mine are all MIB to accurately check They're almost the same height. I've seen photos of MH dolls wearing Moxie Girlz clothes and looked fine, but it may be a possible chance they can be loose and it may be impossible the other way around with MG wearing MH clothes. @,@; As for Bratzillas, I have no idea since they just came out and I have yet to get my hands on one to actually tell. >,<;

I actually seen the mermaid ones a few times, but for some reason something seems weird about the body looking disproportionate for some reason. I wish they had like Mermaid fin legs to dress them as Mermaids, that would be great. XD

Do you by any chance have any idea who you want to get as your first Moxie Girl??

As for my collection there are a few more girlz i need but are hard to find/are never released as a basic doll. >,>

Bryten, light skin girl with green eyes and blonde hair.
Merin, light skin girl with blue eyes and black hair.
Amberly, tan girl with blue eyes black hair.

I also need to grab me a Bria.

I like all the Girls with the Petz. And I really want the red head girl! I have this thing for red head dolls. I have no idea why but I'll be getting her for sure. I also like the new(?) horse back riding ones. The dark haired girl I really like too. Is her name Lexa?

I was on the website earlier but their names escaped me! I really like that their cheaper than the other dolls I collect. Makes it so much easier on my wallet.

I want this one A LOT because it reminds me of some of my kitties <3

The redhead is Kellan and she is one of my most favorite girls of them all, she has red hair, and freckles. She's my definition of Ginger (no offence intended) and she's Soooo adorable with her freckles. They actually released a Basic doll of her which made me so excited when I first found out because at the time the only way of getting he was the Magic Snow Kellan and she had glitter on her face.
http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12435433

I was actually able to get all 3 of the Moxie Girlz Petz set at TRu when they were doing a Buy 2 get 1 free sale.

The outfit Monet is wearing is actually the Petz Sophina outfit.

I just checked the Moxie Girlz website and I'm actually surprised they updated it with the new dolls i Mentioned.

I have a True Hope Avery. :D I really love her, but I won't be buying any more Moxie Girlz. I don't like how they *feel* like toys, if that makes sense? She can cross her feet really easily, and I loooove that. xD

Aww I'm still melting over that outfit Avery comes with. XP I already got you super hooked on Liv Dolls, I don't wanna end up getting you more hooked on more lines like Moxie Girlz, Taxel. XD

Some pictures of Lexa, Kellan and my Liv girl Capri.

As much as I love the adorable faces these girls have, I wish they at some point added more articulations to them, that would've been nice, but I guess because they don't have much articulation it's why they are not so expensive, which I am fine with. XP

Lexa is so gorgeous. I really need to get her first. She's absolutely precious. I hope they have one I want at work. I have a 20 percent off any GM item coupon plus my 10 percent discount. Figured I'd treat myself!

If not, I'm looking for Kellan for sure.

I thought about getting an LIV a while back but between them and Moxie, Moxie pulls at my heart more because of their preciousness and similarity to Bratz dolls. The last toys I played with as a girl were Bratz and while I loved them, I would have loved the Moxies even more if they were out.

Now.. are they rooted? Or do they wear wigs? I've never had a wig doll before..

Wow, talk about a deal with 30% off. If you do end up getting that basic Kellan, her hair is a lot shorter than the Kellan I have in those photos. That one is the Glitterin Style Kellan. As for their hair they're rooted and do not wear wigs, and yes they're peg footed like brats dolls, but they are not able to switch between the two because one of them has a bigger peg size than the other.

I hope you're able to find a Lexa or Kellan today when you search for them, I still see the Basic Kellan around Target, but haven't seen many of the new Lexas, just the Bubble Bath Surprise ones. XP

Hopefully I'll score something. If not, I'll use me 20 percent on something else just to use it lol.   >_<

I'll probably go to Kmart next week. The one here had a whole section in their clearance of Moxie Girlz. So maybe I'll get lucky there? I like the blonde girl too so at this point it's all about scoring my first Moxie.

Hopefully there are still a bunch of Moxie Girlz in stores in your area. Of all the places I go doll/pony hunting, they all carry Moxie Girlz, but Walmart stopped carrying them for some reason.

So I'm buying some Moxies for sure this week. I want the winter Kellan with the hat and skirt for sure. And the Lexa with her pet cat. But I really want this one basic Avery doll that has yellow shoes, pink pants, and a yellow top. She reminds me SO much of myself. Is she rare? The yellow makes me really really want her. I came across her on amazon for 25 dollars but there's only one left >.<

That release of Kellan was what made me fall in LOVE with her and her freckles and red hair!! Now I kinda wish I got her when I had the chance. I think she was released in the winter of 2010. I also really want that Scion that they released around that time. XD

As for that basic Avery, I bought from TRU during summer of 2011 and the Moxie Girlz Petz I bought in the winter of 2011. I don't know if they're still available in stores, but they're not crazily sought after like MH/MLP. Hopefully you're lucky enough to find them.

Oh God I love that Kellan! I saw her on amazon and am tempted to buy her! If I can't find specific Moxie's I'll just end up ordering them. If all goes well, I'll be shopping on Thursday with my labor day check! Time and a Half rocks  :)

That Kellan is no longer findable in stores, so I say go for it! She's also going for $14.99. Shoot if I had my priorities straight or had extra money, I actually wouldn't mind getting her too. XD

From the Demonstration video on their YT Channel, that was actually her first release ever, so I'd love to get my hands on her some day and the way they presented her in that outfit was great. XP

A few days ago, I grabbed More 2 Me Lexa and she was on clearance for about $6 something and I had a $6 TRU card so I basically had to pay a few cents and she was mine.

Hmm to prevent any more room being taken up, I'm tempted to open the rest of my Moxie Girlz that are still in their boxes.

Especially the twins: Jaylen and Sarai

I'm just scared their hair might come out bad, missing a few plugs or super uncontrollably frizzy. @,@;

Pics of the girls I have so far of each character.

These 5 were used in my first/only story thread I made, the Main 5 BFF's
Monet                             Lexa                              Kellan

Sophina                         Avery

These 3 I opened later and haven't used. (Jaylen and Sarai I opened yesterday)
Sarai                                                                                  Jaylen

Ida

For these 3, I don't know if I should make add them to the others and make them a huge group of BFFs or make these 3 the frienemies of the BFFs, Ida being the leader while the twins are her BFF Henchmen. XD

I can't find Moxie Girlz ANYWHERE. You'd think they were discontinued or something! I haven't seen them or Liv dolls.. It's so strange. There's not even shelf spots for them anymore. Are they shipping to stores still? Kellan is getting lonely :( My Bratz dolls keeps her company but I at least wanted to have a Lexa and Avery to go with her. *sigh*

Also, does anyone know what clothes fit them? I want to get Kellan a new outfit :)

D: I saw a TON last time I was at TRU, they still had a decent section. I can try and look tomorrow and see if its still there.

As for clothes, I don't know for sure but I'm pretty sure Blythe and Blythe-sized clothing should fit them, since my Blythe fits my Moxie Girlz clothing perfectly. I can try my stock and handmade Blythe stuff on Avery tomorrow if you want. :)

I still see them around Target and Toys R Us. I think they stopped carrying them at Walmart and Kroger stores. They may have them at Rite Aid or Walgreens, but they're so overpriced. >,>; They're usually in the same section as MH, and Bratz.

As for clothes that fit them, I haven't tried to fit them in any other clothes. I only have Liv dolls and Moxie Girlz out of their box so I have no way to check. >,<;

To be honest, a part of me thinks that Moxie Girlz is a lot more popular/available in the UK than the US because I've seen a few pics of some new stuff that are in UK Shelves, but not in US.
Title: Re: Moxie Girlz thread
Post by: karrie91 on September 14, 2012, 12:10:16 AM
I really wish I could get to the Toys R Us in the city south of me. It's just the matter of getting there. I would call first and ask though.. since it's such a hassle. I so just want to find more of these girls. I'm kinds scared that the line has been dropped in the US or something. The one I got was 8 bucks in the clearance section at Kmart. I checked Walmart clearance and they didn't have any at all. I've been to Family Dollar, CVS, Walmart, Kmart, Target, and Meijer and none of them have any. =/

I never thought to check Walgreens and Rite Aid though. Maybe next week. I have some money left from this paycheck but I made a goal to only buy 1 doll a week. And my mom is like.. totally trying to make me stick to that lol. It actually helps me bond with my dolls more though!

Any other idea of stores to check?

Also for the clothes thing.. Does barbie maybe fit them or Bratz? I only ask because once I find out what clothes fit, I want to buy a lot from ebay so my Kellan has a wardrobe. :)

Occasionally I've seen them at Ross, you can possibly try Big Lots also, but hearing that your stores have stopped stocking them, I'm a little concerned now. Hopefully they'll have them when the holiday season starts. I also hope they don't drop them in the US and only have them in the UK. There are so many I wanted but never showed up in the US, only UK. I wanted Magic Hair Kellan, but she never showed up here. I Love love LOVE Her outfit. I also wanted to use her as a bait for a "custom" Moxie Girlz rehair and freckles removed.

Bratz tops will fit Moxie Girlz.  However, due to the Moxies having a healthier physique (aka, wider hips), Bratz skirts (and I would presume other Bratz bottoms) will not fit...

It may be possible to get a Bratz skirt to fit if you snip off the built in thong.  I can't say for certain one way or the other though.

I think the Moxie faces are so sweet- (they remind me of Lady Lovelylocks)  but I love the Bratz costumes.  And I like the Liv wigs-

What I have done to accomplish this is to swap out Moxie heads onto Bratz bodies- and I think it works out very well!  (Do you see the two blondes in this pic (sorry it is my current sale pic so the girls are mostly less than fabulous) - those are Moxie heads on Bratz bodies.

This particular pile o dolls I am going to try and sell for whatever anyone will pay me for them (if anything) - if you are looking to acquire a mostly fixer upper lot for pennies on the dollar :D   I seriously am trying to clear out some space...

Just got done trying basically all the doll clothes I own on Avery. xD I didn't try anything Liv or Barbie, but I tried on: handmade Blythe-sized (top x2 & skirt), stock Blythe (shorts, hoodie, stockings, & boots) Pullip sized (two stock outfits, one in 5 different pieces & boots), Tangkou sized (shorts & boots), and Liv sized (beanie).

Apparently Photobucket isn't working, so I can only upload the good photos to my site. :/ You can check those out here (http://taxelponies.shutterfly.com/dolls/300) if you want. Enjoy these descriptions while I wait for PB to start working.

Blythe - The skirt seemed really high, but it was a fine length. Both handmade shirts fit fine and were a little big, mostly around the neck. The stock outfit fit fine, but I couldn't get the stockings up very high. The boots fit fine but only if you're careful and don't move her much.

Pullip - I was stunned but everything fit nearly perfectly! Ala's outfit fit her basically perfectly, and I was even able to snap on the wings. Mir's stock varied. The sleeveless red top and long red skirt fit okay. The top was a little off and the skirt was a little big, but overall it was fine. The wide sleeved thingy and lace skirt fit fine as well. The long fabric strip skirt was a bit big, but also fine. Mir's boots were also a nice snug fit, and I imagine they'd be fine for posing but obviously not perfect.

Tangkou - I tried France's shorts on her, and they're perfect. I actually replaced her skirt with the shorts in her normal outfit I like them so much. But because her top is so tight, it looks kind of silly as you can super clearly see the top of the shorts and it looks like her top is folded at the bottom. I also tried on France's boots, and they fit fine. I imagine they'd also be fine for posing (I had her held up in the air and they didn't budge).

Liv - I've got original Katie's beanie, and of course I had to try it on her. Its a bit big, but I think that works well with it. It looks really nice and now its her default hat. It even matches her stock outfit and eyes! xD

And now I kinda want another. >.<

So it really is Photobucket having visits from the ****-Up Fairy after all.  Guess there's no need for me to close and restart Firefox after all to see if I can do this one last upload for Sunday's auctions after all.

And that means work is effectively done for now.  Guild Wars 2, here I come.

lol wow she actually looks adorable in Nefera's stock. :P like a little Egyptian princess If only her shoes were painted gold or teal. All she needs is a crown or tiara and she's set. XD

Thanks!

I get so bored if my dolls don't change their clothes often. And I'm running out of options! LOL

Flora from Winx is wearing her outfit now.. and I put her hair up in a stylish curly/messy bun  :)

I haven't checked Moxie Girlz stuff at stores in so long, but it seems like TRU And Target are the only places I see carrying them anymore. >,<; At Target they still have just Sophina, Kellan and Avery. BUT today at TRU, I saw that they finally carried the Sports of the World dolls!! But it was only Bria in the Karate Gi.

I also checked TRU Online just now, and they happen to have all the other Sports of the World girls too! And this week, Moxie Girlz are Buy One Get One 50% off at TRU, so if you want to get one of the new ones, checking TRU online is a good place so far!

I thought that too, but now that I've seen Sports Bria, I'm kinda getting more hope that they're not, Maybe I'll Email MGA and ask them about their distribution.

I'm still jealous the UK Got cooler releases than the ones here. >,<;

Post Merge: November 28, 2012, 05:10:50 PM

So I ended up E-mailing them about new releases and if they're still being shipped in the US and this was what I got in response:

Thank you for contacting MGA Entertainment.

Boooo. :throw: Understandable, but still... :throw:

Hmmm...

Seems like they are trying to keep it tight lip about them then. Maybe they are being discontinued. I mean.. they have Bratz again.. and those were just a replacement for Bratz. I really liked Moxie Girlz though. I'll still collect them, regardless. But I really hope next year the line picks up again or something.

I HOPE They're not gonna stop making Moxie Girlz because Bratz are making their way back now. >,<; I still have hope that they are still around since I found that Bria from the Sportz of the world line and the new fashion packs. They just better start stocking the others at other stores too. >,<;

Apparently this line is called Moxie Girlz Poopy Pets. I want their outfits. :P

What I kinda find irritating about the Moxie Girlz line is, no matter how hard you search, you can never look up any information about them whatsoever. >,<;

they sold? holy cow! that price freaked me out... it's a happy thing to see TRU has them for about half the price.

judging by the pic you linked I think they are made of that flexible, rubbery plastic, and their mouths are like those little kitty doors (holes on your door where your cat can go out and come in whenever they want), you push them in somehow. but it's just a guess :P

LMAO!!!!! I just popped into this thread to see what was going on and I see people talking about some new dolls with animals that poop glitter and jewels... and I'm like, "Well, that's weird. It must be some weird new pet that just looks like it's doing that..."

And then I just scroll a bit down and... nearly spit my drink onto my screen when I see the NRFB doll with the "I poop jewels!" text bubble.

Best dolls ever. EVEEEEEEER.

well, it seems like my first Moxie Girl is on the way to me, I'm so excited about her! found her in a Bratz doll lot (I was browsing Bratz clothes for Moxies I want to have in the future - it seems not much people know Moxie Girz here as they aren't available in shops T___T so they mistake them for Bratz. that was the time I started browsing Bratz dolls too - to search for Moxies :P ) on a local auction site, and asked the seller if I could buy her separately. I just paid for her this morning, I hope the package arrives quickly ^^

I hope it caused the line to get more popular so we see way more releases.   Love Moxie Girlz! I still only have one but she's so sweet looking. Next year, I'm getting more for sure. :D

Can't wait to see pictures when she arrives! Any idea which one she is??
thank you for the guide! ^^
the seller provided quite blurry images only, so I couldn't see the eye colour properly, but from the outfit I could identify her as Jammaz Sophina, this version:
http://girlzdollz.com/moxie-girlz-jammaz-doll-package-sophina/ (http://girlzdollz.com/moxie-girlz-jammaz-doll-package-sophina/)
I'm happy she has her outfit, most dolls (in general, not just Moxies) I see recently come naked. I guess it's because there's always a bigger need for a larger wardrobe for dolls than dolls themselves, but most comes with only one outfit. clothes lots tend to go up very high in price here, always over my budget...
now the next mission: I'll have to get her something proper to wear. she can't be around wearing pajamas all day :P I already have a skirt ready for her (I hope it will fit her), and I already have some ideas on what to sew. I wish I could finally get mother's sewing machine repaired and brought here, I would love to try sewing some doll clothes during the holidays. my Moxie Teenz Tristen still needs clothes too, so the sewing mission is double ^.^

I'm in California for Christmas and tonight my grandma took me shopping. We decided to stop at TRU so I could show her the Poopsy dolls, because they're so hilarious and I knew she'd get a kick out of them, and I wanted to look and see what new dolls I could find. They had all three Poopsy girls, but only one of both Lexa and Kellan. At first I didn't even see Kellan but when I saw her my grandma was like okay we'll buy them (I'm a redhead). xD

I don't know if I'll open Kellan or not, at the very least she'll stay boxed for a while for the awesome factor. I really want to get Avery if she goes on sale, especially since the jewels are actually jewel shaped. They'd be great accessories! I haven't tried it yet but it looks like you put the "poop" in their mouth and then make them squat and it comes out the other end. xDDDD I'll try that and get some actually nice photos tomorrow when the sun is out!

lol OMG you got them!! Too bad you couldn't get Avery, but isn't Kellan so adorable especially with her freckles?! XD
Title: Re: Moxie Girlz thread
Post by: Taxel on December 23, 2012, 01:48:41 AM
She is!!! I love her freckles!!! :D

Hopefully I can eventually get Avery. If the TRU here was any indication she should be easy to find, as they had like 4 or 5 of her.

And overall I'm really impressed. Lexa's hair is super gorgeous and soft, so I've been sitting here playing with it for hours. xD And the bunny doesn't feel cheap at all, it feels really sturdy. And the squatting thing is so hilarious and cute, plus really nicely done imo. And the leash is brilliant! I figured you'd have to cut it off, but the leash is through a loop at the end so its super easy to take on and off and could be used for other pets.

yay, congrats on your new Poopy sets Taxel! they look hilarious IRL too, and I love that the little dresses on the pets are actually sewn and can be taken off - for some reason I thought they will just be painted on.

I also have good news: my Sophina is here! ^^ I love her, her pajamas are so cute (for a reason, the pattern reminds me of Sailor Moon :D ), and wow, her hair is so... thick (or how do you say that :P )! I swear she has more hair than I do, I'm a little envious...

however, I'm not fully satisfied with her condition. I'm sure the poor girl has never been combed before, as her hair is pretty tangled on the outside, and the ends of these curls are frizzy too... her full hair is nothing like pony hair , and I had quite a hard time combing her  -_- I didn't wash her hair yet, I only did a pre-de-tangling combing. could someone please give me some advice on how I should go on washing and conditioning her hair?
she also has some tiny needlepin spots on her legs. I do remember some of my childhood Barbies having some tiny holes on their legs that if I remember correctly were like these, but I never knew why they were there, and they always were located at the same places on the legs - Sophina's aren't like that. were they meant to be there originally? I'm a really inexperienced girl when it comes to dolls, so this may be a silly question :P
also, her head seems to be a little loose. it doesn't come off, but... huh, how should I say this... it doesn't really stay pointed at the same direction, and I don't need to use any force when I want to turn it. also, when I tilt Sophina, her head doesn't stay positioned to the direction it originally looked but turns on its own - I suspect it's because of her too heavy hair giving in to gravity, pulling and making her head turn, but, again, is this normal with Moxie Girlz?

I'm sorry I don't yet have pictures, I will try to do something about it - now maybe only after she will be in a nicer shape ^^ she already has her clothes washed and I also found some other clothes for her too, but her hair needs some serious pampering :)

I'd love to see this thread alive again, so I'd continue with an update on my Sophina. I finally got to take pictures of her - not in her original outfit though. I found some lovely Barbie clothes for her during the weekend (so far she only had a single skirt, and a pair of boots I used to have on one of my bags as decoration (originally keychains) and accidentally found out they fit her - that furry top's a little big for her, so it's there only to cover :P ), and I decided to document her getting them ^^
(ignore her messy hair, please, I never got to condition it further. don't even look at my last post's date where I mentioned the issue  -_- )

Hey, look! A box! No, not only a box, a present! May it be for me?
*looks around*

awww, too bad this threas has gone down so... I hope noone minds me reviving it!

since my last post I have got a few Girlz ^^ the first one was Avery, whom I bought on a local auction site, and I love her! then somethere around spring I found another Sophina in a thrift store. she's the Magic Snow one, and she had her full stock (clothes-wise. no slide, bag or snow dome - but I wasn't interested in those anyway, so that's OK), still attached with those little plastic ties, never removed - but her hair was cut off almost completely. I wanted to rehair her, but I couldn't decide on a colour, and then work took over my time, and I happened to forget the dolly completely...
later in spring I found a naked, footless Lexa in the same store. she had her hair, but it's literally rasta! I didn't have any problem with it though, because with so bad hair I was more brave to try out a hair straightener without being afraid to mess her hair up (I can't make it much worse, really :P ). however, I don't think I will leave her hair straightened, I'm thinking of making her a rasta, or giving her a new hair colour - don't know which yet.
sometime in early June I bought a dolly lot from eBay with more Girlz in it (and a Moxie Teen! she was the main reason for buying), but I'm not going to keep all of them, only Lexa and possibly another Avery because of major hair differences.

fast forward to Friday, same store: I was digging through the boxes of plushes, when I bumped into a MG head O_o it was Monet's. later at home I learned she's from the Head Gamez series - I've never heard of this set before!
I was really happy, as I was also hoping to get Monet someday, and on my way home I was planning to put her head on rasta Lexa's body (because I already have another Lexa anyway) - however, I realised their skin tones don't match :/ oh well, the dolly lot I bought included an extra Sophina too, I can just switch her head instead of selling the doll.
...and then the brick hit me: I have a third Sophina! I was so happy when I realised this, I could never decide on a rehair, and I never liked Magic Snow Sophina's glittery make up (it's so not fitting to me... I think of Moxie Girlz as kids, girls in their more earlier than later teens, who shouldn't wear this heavy make up), but judging from the Head Gamez set she exactly has the same skin tone as Monet
...and a couple of hours later I had a new Monet doll  I took pictures as well, but I couldn't yet load them onto my computer. if anybody's interested I'll be happy to share the photos later :)

ah, also something to mention: Moxie Girz are finally available for purchase in my country: they appeared in Tesco! I'm so tempted to get Fairy Tale Avery and Bryten, but I'm not willing to pay their full price yet :/

Love Moxie Girls! Sure, they don't have the BEST hair in the world but they are nice and sturdy and fun to style. They have such sweet faces too. My next "Pony Party" will include a few of the girls from our set. I'm just sorry I missed out on the Moxie Teens while I had the chance. They were very pretty too. All in all we have 9 of these lovely little ladies. 2 Averies, 2 Sophinas, 2 Lexas, 1 Merin, 1 Bria, and 1 Kellen.  ^.^

love your pics! some of them are actually more appealing to me than the copyright promo pics of the dolls

I have recently found Bryten, she was one of my top wishes as well. now I think the only girl left whom I'd really wish to have is Kellan.

eww, just some days after my previous post a Kellan popped up on a local auction site. I was so excited over her, but had to let her go in the end, as her price went up too high. also, the auction had quite blurry pics (she was NIB, but a return, with heavily scratched, thus blurry plastic box), and I couldn't decide if it's just the box or she really has a funny haircut, so I try not to regret being outbid.

but! today I have found another head in a shop. I seem to attract heads like a magnet :P
she's quite an unusual girl though... her hair colour and skin tone is just like Monet's, but she has brown eyes and no beauty mark. after a quick search I think she's from this set (but has more wavy hair):

does anyone know something about this set? I know the Head Gamez sets operated with being able to create 3 different characters with the 3 available heads, but here the spare head doesn't look like anyone  is it Sophina, just with a different hair colour?

I so hate to see this topic die! so I thought I should revive it :P with a picture of the Head Gamez * head I mentioned in my previous post. she now has a body, and also a new hairstyle (which didn't turn out exactly how I wanted it to, but I'm OK with it for now).

here is my newest girl all ready for winter:

I just can't seem to come up with a name for her  do you have any suggestions? I also can't decide on who she should be related to from my crew (if related), and what relation should they have.

EDIT: also, did you notice not all Moxie Girlz have the same arm molds? I just recently realised that some of mine have bigger hands/palms

*EDIT2: ack! now I see I wrote Head Gamez, whereas this girl is not from that set, she's the Sophina with different hair colour. she still doesn't have a name :(

THIS! totally like a magnet! today I found another one - and not someone common  :frolic:
can you guess who she might be?

also, I found the Poopsy Pets commercial on YouTube - I have never seen it before! I nearly died laughing, especially at the last line XD

now I am so happy to have had another extra Sophina, this way I was able to give Amberly a body ^^ she's such a cutie  ^.^

besides giving Amberly a body, I did some other Moxie-related things too this weekend: I had some shoe doubles, and I decided to try repainting them to get new shoe colours. this was basically my first attempt at trying to paint with acrylics, so I didn't do anything extra, just small repaints. if anyone might be interested I can take some pics of them (or my girls wearing them).

I love those little bears, and the bunny slippers your girl is wearing, Loona! Extremely adorable!
