Has anybody else noticed this?
I wanted G4 bait and Tesco had ponies for £2.79 (or something) and Sainsburys for £2.49.
But both are sold out! The bigger Tesco near me has even taken the label off the shelf, and when I asked at Customer Service she said it looked like the stock had been recalled from their store because they had a minus stock figure. I went to Sainsburys too late to ask their customer service as they were closed.
Has anybody else found this?!

There's never been any MLP stuff at all in my local big sainsburys :( I haven't tried Tescos, but Asda have had a very small selection of ponies in the past. Odd that Tescos think they've been recalled though...

There hasn't been any pony stuff for months at my local Tesco extra store, just an empty shelf spot :(
I have read today on another forum someone just picked up two wedding singles from their tesco so i hope a restock is soon.

Well, tbh, there's never been MLP stuff in Tesco over here in Malaysia. Which is frustrating to say the least.

Yup...I have noticed this in 2 [Tesco] stores.
I cant decide on what it is...
All of the previous stock from my local 2 stores, has simply vanished [there were about a dozen luggage ponies there a couple of weeks ago] and now there is no space and no tag for MLP at all. :( Which does sound more like them being cleared than them miraculously suddenly selling ponies which I swear have been there since last November!
On the other hand - a lot of pony items on their website were "currently unavailable" for a week or so but now suddenly a lot of them are again in stock and only a small amount are unavailable still.
So I cant decide whether as a line - its not been selling or working for them therefore they are not stocking them at all or if local sales havent worked so everything is headed to online for them on this particular brand. Or if they are just going to wait and re stock when the UK finally picks up some of the new line.

My local Tesco hasn't had any single brushables for the last 3-4 weeks, but this past week I noticed they had put something over the price tag for them which said they would be available on the 31st of August, so it seems to suggest they were just waiting for the new wave of singles to come in. I'll be checking it out tomorrow to see what's there :)

I hope it's just them sending the old waves back so they can prepare for the new stock to come in. I swear I've seen less toy sales and movement in other sections of the 'unholy amounts of pink' isle in Tesco.
The local toy shops here that usually get waves of new ponies have Cadance, the castle and the wedding packs with the mane 6, but nothing else. Their old stock hasn't moved in ages, so I hope they don't just pull the stocks of the line.

Hmm well my local Sainsbury's had blind bags and then when I've gone back since they're not there, there's not even a price sticker on the shelf. The shelf they were on has been stocked with fakies instead. But they have a lot of the Moshi Monster and Hello Kitty blindbags around but no where seems to stock G4 Blindbags.

My local Tescos had loads of travelponies in, then DR and CP arrived and they sold out immediately. They had a couple of travel ponies left for a few weeks plus the CMC set, and as of a couple weeks ago no singles and the same two CMC sets. The labels are still all on the shelves though.
I soooooooo hope they are restocking with the new releases, it's Xmas shopping time now with the kids back at school so fingers crossed...

My closest tesco stopped selling any ponies a while back. There's no space on the shelf for them either so they're not just sold out :( My second closest still has some singles (all AJ and RD), Royal Castle Friends and CMC sets soo maybe you guys are right and this sale and sudden disappearance of them means new wave - Lyra and co.? I doubt my local store will get them back at all though.

I went to Sainsburys on Monday, and Tesco yesterday and neither of them had ponies in stock *sigh* I bought blind bag wave 4 ponies at sainsburys a few weeks back but since I bought the last ones they had, they havent restocked :(
I hope that somewhere will get the new ones in soon, and I still need to finish my travelling /luggage set too

They have updated Tesco Direct with new ponies (not all in stock) but the old and cheap singles aren't on there. I wonder if they were on sale or return with Hasbro and they've all been returned, but why run a special offer on them for the period where you are sending them back?!

So I just got back, my Tescos still has about five Mane 6 playful ponies on the shelf at the reduced price, as well as a reduced Sweetie Belle ice cream car (can't remember the proper name off hand!). Looks to me like they're waiting on new stock to come in. After all, it's the Christmas rush soon!

I just checked my Tescos and they have wedding singles, but not the wave with Trixie and Lyra in :(

Hmm.... I'm gonna have a look in the gigantic tescos near me later, they always have ponies, hopefully they will have some new stuff. Although I'm not too bothered as there are only a select few G4s I actually want.

They have G4 ponies in a tube in Asda. They are on offer at 2 for £10.00. You can look at them or order them on Asda online.xx

That Tesco Direct site has now been updated - but its a site wide update hence why the stock has been all over the place for a while - the same ponies are available and the same ponies are out of stock...*sigh*

I've just been to the smaller Tesco near to me for lunch and they didn't have ponies but still had the shelf label. There was an out of stock label on top (as earlier in the week) with LTO written on - I asked what that meant and it means Long Term Sold out.
So they're coming back into stock (whichever wave!), Tesco just don't know when.

I've been keeping an eye on my Tesco as well, all all their singles were gone last weekend. I'll be taking a look this weekend as well ;) The last ones I saw in there were the Diamond Rose wave, but there was only one of her and the other new one in that set. The whole lot did seem to disappear of the shelves quickly! There are some of the larger sets still though.

I went in tesco today, they had a few singles there...also if they are changing stock then that explains the sale prices...my daughter bought the pinkie pie train set for £11.50 in there last week :)

My local Tesco didn't have any ponies for a while, but that was due to the fact that they were rebuilding the store (they hardly had any toys at all for a few weeks). When I went back there yesterday, they had the singles for 2.97. Interestingly, they were not the luggage singles, but those with the little wedding accessories. So essentially, they were selling off new stock at a discount price. A new big ASDA will open close to where I live next week. I'm curious to see whether they'll have ponies and if yes, which ones.

Wow Snork I think you are one of the first to come across those wedding singles - I know they have been found in dribs and drabs at some Argos stores but in a Tesco is new. Thats good that means they are still stocking the new waves :)

If the new wave they're stocking is just the wedding mane six and not Lyra, Trixie, Sunny Rays and Cherry Berry I'll be disappointed cause that means we'll have to wait a few more months till they sell all that stock before moving onto the new ones. Unless they are included in this wave as they are wedding singles too?

My local Tesco's also has the mane 6 wedding singles. I'm glad that they are still marked as the sale price as the mountain of luggage mane 6 didn't seem to move until their price was reduced, so hopefully these will fly off the shelves to make room for the next wave :P

Yes thats what worries me - the luggage main 6 sat on shelves long enough that the supermarket had to discount them so how the heck long will it take until the wedding main 6 actually sell!

I went into Tescos today and they also have the wedding ponies - but they only had two Fluttershys, a Pinkie and I think AJ. So that means that the ponies in the rest of the box have sold in a couple of days, which is good! They are priced at £2.97 too. Almost tempted to get them to keep MiB like I did with the luggage ponies before I decided I wasn't buying identical characters on principle...

If somebody is willing to pick me up 2x Rainbow Dash and 2x Rarity (don't care which wave!), debox and send them to me, which I will of course pay for in full, could they PM me?
It seems like there are only a few of us being deprived by our supermarkets which is a good sign, but I want baits! :)

Daff - I stupidly didn't buy some the other day in sainsburys but I might be able to get back there before Saturday if you still need some picking up? Decided I want some g4 baits so I am going to have to talk hubby into a run lol!

Also found them in my local Tesco. They had the wedding single mane six (only one Twilight left though) at £2.97 each.
They also had the bridesmaid ponies at £9.95, though they hadn't been put out yet.

I think half of the trouble is the G4's aren't appealing to children!
My daughter and friends have all gone off them since G3 and G3.5 ended. We did a charity fundraiser recently through work, and had a family fun day. I sold off about 200 loose G3 ponies, all going to young girls, many of whom (and their mums) commented how "nice" it was to buy the "pretty" ponies rather than the modern ones.
Is it maybe that collectors simply aren't buying enough to clear the old stock, and the little girls don't want them?

Well my Tesco has ponies back in stock [phew] - about 18 of the wedding singles, the bridle single sets and talking Cadence. However they were all full price of £4.97 for the singles. I guess my Tesco decided it did not wish to participate in the sale. Naughty...
Daffy do you have an Entertainer near you? They have the singles for £3 at the moment as well.
