Title: Was This A Good Trade?
Post by: hathorcat on August 30, 2012, 05:24:39 AM
So readers...here is my problem.

This morning upon waking and going out to the barn, I realised that our cow - we ll call her Daisy because thats her name - had alas decided not to give any more milk.

Unfortunately, my poor widowed mother cannot afford to keep a cow who doesnt contribute to the household, so she sent me to market to sell Daisy on.

As Daisy and I were meandering on our way to the village, we encountered an old and mysterious man.

This man offered to give Daisy a new home and in exchange he gave me some beans...magic beans he said they were.

I accepted his offer and headed home.

So here is my trader support question...did I get a good deal?

Many thanks from Jack

[This thread is NOT a spam or lie, honest, promise and it has nothing to do with my spamming needs to beat PartyPony in our post shoot out :P]

I guess you could plant the seeds and see what happens.

But the next time some dude gives you a handful of beans, I think I would tell him you're legume-intolerant and give them right back to him! And take Daisy home.

If you plant those beans and they grow G1 accessories then that's a spiffing good trade! :smug:

If you have a slingshot, yes.  However, take certain precautions as you are from the British Isles; I would mask the scent of my blood with deer musk.

*can't stop imagining a giant tree full of G1 accessories and poor Daisy looking on sadly in a field by herself*

I would have felt bad  - I would have said the mysterious blagster could stroke Daisy for one bean, and a cuddle for three beans. Keep Daisy, get a few beans :D

I could really go for a goose laying gold eggs. That would be awesome. Anyone have one for sale, for some jelly beans?

I wonder if giants have their own nirvanas...imagine coming back down the beanstalk with a Snuzzle the size of a Pretty Pony. Or maybe the goose lays plastic easter eggs with ponies in them.

OMG, I think you've been scammed! You need to contact eBeans support, they should be able to help you open a case against this shady seller!!! But I'll warn you, I don't think they'll reimburse you for return shipping. :( I'm sorry you got ripped off! Maybe you can resell the beans to cover some of the loss if you can't return them.

Thank you so much for your support guys - Jack appreciates it.

As I have been unable to track down this mysterious man to organise a return - eBeans have been no help at all Snap but thank you for the suggestion - I have decided to plant these beans and see what happens...

In the meantime I am regretting that we traded Daisy away so am hoping members will be able to help us track her down...I ll be heading over to Off Topic to post to see if we have any luck there...

Plant the beams asap!

And only time will tell if it was a good trade.

My question now is:  How many days the beans will need to grow?  XD
