A friend of mine found this on Tumblr.

In case the link doesn't work, it's a package containing two Dollar Store (or similar) fakies, Gen 3 style molds. They are labeled with the following:
Fun Neddy Lovely
and
Demon Donkey
It's nice that they're finally admitting that fakies are so horrifying! (JK, Fakies of the world, I love you guys!) Honestly, these ones don't look too bad.

Demon Donkey is awesome, are they still available? I have never seen them in stores and if so would someone be willing to pick me up a couple because I've never seen them in stores here.

I imagine the "Demon" part of the name came from a loose translation of "magical entity". For example, in Japanese the word "kami" can be loosely translated as "a god" or "a spiritual creature" or "ghost" or sometimes "demon". There are specific words for some of these entities as well, but "Kami" is a very general term. As far as my experience with Asian languages goes, these kinds of synonyms can also be very true for Cantonese/Mandarin. So I can honestly see how a bad English translation of "Magical Equine" became "Demon Donkey". :D
But "Fun Neddy Lovely"? Don't ask me about that one! LOL

I saw a couple fakies at Dollar Tree.. they looked like the sparkly blind-bag ponies, only a bit bigger than the current G4s and had sparkly soft hair.
