Hey just wondering if there are any other writers on the arena. If so what genre you do? what is your story or poem about? Did you publish or plan on doing so? If yes what's it like? and I may add more to the list later just curious as a writer myself.

I'm a writer. I've been published as a journalist, a poet, and a subject matter expert. I also write bad blog posts and decent Mass Effect fanfiction. I hope to be published as an author one day, hopefully for a science-fiction or fantasy novel, but most likely it'll be something nonfiction or biographical.

Yes. Novelist. Self published. Click my signature if curious. I've written several fantasy/scifi novel series, but have only published one - Heroes of a Silent God, which describes the exploits of an immortal being responsible for bringing order to dying or dysfunctional worlds. "When heroes live forever, what force can stand in the way of their corruption?" is the series' slogan, more or less. I'm told my work is...unique, though I caution the potential reader, it can be gruesome.

I've written a few novels and screenplays, and I wrote a lot of poetry still. I also do professional writing as a supplement to my income.

I write fundraising material for non-profits!
I also edit Spanish material :)

I write too - I have done tons of poetry but am working on book 2 in my first series. Need to get it published and out and about. Its fantasy. I am also starting 3 more series which are fantasy natured as well. :)

I write in my spare time, and I've been working on my novels for years on and off. They always seem to be pushed to the side. Trying to force myself to write a bit more now that I have someone interested in editing my work....just gotta find the time and motivation when I'm not worn out. :lol:
Oh, I tend to stick with short stories and novels from a variety of genres.

I am a writer as well. I have my ba in English with a concentration on literary study and creative writing. But my professional career has taken a back burner to my motherly duties for the time being. :) Little ones are only young once after all.

I write sci-fi and horror adventure in my spare time. I'm not sure I actually want to be published. I'd probably stress too much.

I write stories and poetry. I'm focusing my attention on a contemporary young adult novel at the moment about second chances. I am definitely going to publish when I finish. I'm heading the self-publishing route. I have some blog friends who have self-published and it has gone very well for them. If you want some writing/publishing info, check out my blog (link in the siggy). I interviewed a few indie authors on their journey of self-publishing and learned a lot for when I want to start. :)

I want to try to write out a few novels eventually. My problem is i have soo much information that its hard to sort though and find a starting point >>

I fool myself into thinking I can write... :blush:
I always dreamed of writing fantasy but I know I'll never make it :huh: I've rewritten the same story for the past few years.

I don't write anymore, really. But I used to, mostly non fiction stuff, and sometimes bit of fantasy. I could never publish because 1) My stuff most likely isn't good enough 2) I never finish my stories once I start them unless it's for school. XP

I write sometimes. I have a book published but it's not well known.

I would love to be more dedicated to writing but I am a very busy person - my problem comes from lack of time - I have too many stories in my brain though - I need to be better about making myself write it out :)
