I was just sitting here wondering what the Chinese Zodiacs of arena members are and which animals we have the most of. So, what's your Chinese Zodiac? And I even found this handy little calculator in case you don't already know.

I always loved the Chinese Zodiac better than the US one. Going by year is SO much easier and cooler IMHO.. and they're all animals!
I'm stuck as a stupid Scale in the American Zodiac.
Also, goats are awesome :D I also love the Rat!

I am a wood rat.
Now, does that really mean I'm a squirrel, which we call 'tree rats' around here?? (get it trees=wood, squirrels are rodents, like rats... LOL)

I'm a Dragon :) I kind of like my Zodiac signs (month as well as the year). A Scorpian Fire Dragon just sounds so cool. :biggrin:

But on topic, I'm an Earth Snake. Which makes me like a lot of snakes.

i am a water boar and i looked up my birth month and hour as well. they divide it into an inner, outer, and secret animal.
my outer animal is a water boar , my inner is an earth dragon and my secret is a horse. all are creative and describe me to a tee.

I guess I'm a fire snake. I'm not that extroverted though. It's partly right, at least about the part of wanting peace and calm. That part is very correct. I'm from peace country.

I'm a Wood Ox. I relate more to my western astrology sign (Pisces) though, I feel it better describes me.
I looked up my boyfriend and he's an Earth Pony Horse. ^.^

I am a Fire Tiger, and hubby is a Wood Ox.
We're not supposed to be compatible, but I have a theory that you are attracted to animals you like for real. IE I think cows are adorable, and hubby loves big cats and dogs (wolves, tigers, lions, etc).

I'm an Earth Dragon (I already knew that, my mom's boss is Vietnamese and gave us all little packets on our zodiacs and elements along with year of the dragon predictions for Chinese New Year)! Interestingly, so was my mom's dad. She always said that I remind her of him, so it's interesting that we have the same sign AND element.

I'm a wood rat, to be more specific.
even though I'm not much of a horoscope person I also like this one more than the usual zodiac. mainly because this at least says something about my relationship with my boyfriend (and it'f fun to read about that every now and then). now, apart from the year we have our birthdays on the very same day, and so our (non-Chinese) zodiac always tells the same. there are "day-zodiacs" out there too, but in our case they don't work either. which, well, sucks XD but as the Chinese is year-based, at least that doesn't deal with us as two identical creatures, which we definitely aren't :P

I find the description mostly inaccurate, though.. as I do with most horoscopes. XD 'Rats are full of good advice but they will never share their troubles with others. They are honest individuals and they enjoy living for the moment.' is the only section which feels relatable for me. Aries and 'rats' are often described as being fiery, bold individuals with tempers.. I am the most placid person you could think to come across. weird. :what:

I knew I was a rat. But apparently I'm a wood rat.

I already know mine and my guy's from the placemats in Chinese buffets but this thread inspired me to look up my OTP and it turns out they are super compatible on top of having so many moments in the comics and just being so shippable and all.

I'm a fire snake too, although I was born three days before the year of the earth horse started. The descriptions matched fairly well, for a horoscope, anyway. I definitely wouldn't say I'm extroverted though, but I have been know to babble just because I like to hear myself talk. :blush: Absolutely need peace and calm!

I think there's supposed to be 5 elements. Earth -> Water -> Wood -> Fire -> Metal. I need to confirm the sequence tho.
