If you had it growing up that is XD. It was a game of my childhood and its been driving me a bit mad I can hardly find anything about it.
I'll describe it as best as I can.
Its called ' Give the dog a bone' ( not to be mistaken with the 'Give a dog a bone: http://tesco.scene7.com/is/image/tesco/208-2955_PI_TPS717306?wid=250&hei=250&$Detail$

Basically Its a little black and white wind up dog and a red kennel that it had to start under and really tiny I think you scattered around the board. It was a maze like game ( not tiled game like give a dog a bone ). It even came with a dice, but the numbers on the dice were bones.
It was out between 80's / 90's if I remember right. I have seen it on ebay only -once- and never again. Its not 'Diggity Dog / Woof Woof'
I've been trying to look it up but no such luck. All I keep getting is Give the dog A bone, rather then give THE dog a bone XD.
Any ideas anyone? :heart:

It does sound familiar to me too. Were the bones on the dice different colors?

Nope, its not that version. I've looked into that version, its nothing like the one I had XD. My one was like a maze, not tiled like that one. The dice was just black with white bones.
I wish I could provide pics but, like I said I can't find -anything- for it, no info nothing. That's how old my version is XD

Hmm.. Might do that. I did end up on that site when looking and didn't see it pop up there. So, guess I'll have a check when I can :)

May of been, not sure.. what I remember vaguely is the picture on the box was of the dog running and an angry man behind him I think?

hmm the one im thinking of was a black box with a white scotty terrier type dog on it, not sure of a man tho. not sure of anything else sorry! Hope you find it tho!

I tried to find something. The best lead i could find was that a company called Waddingtons games apparently made a game called "Give the dog a bone" in 1992. http://www.reynolds-s-a.freeserve.co.uk/WG.HTM#GD (http://www.reynolds-s-a.freeserve.co.uk/WG.HTM#GD)
No picture, and i cannot find this game referenced elsewhere. But if the artwork of the other games looks similar, then it might be a lead :)

Just had a quick look myself and cannot find anything either. Nor do I recognize most of the other board games box arts. Still, I shall keep looking, thank you for your help :heart:

I went to board game geek like you said and after some time, they found the game I was talking about! Funny, enough.. even they had a hard time finding the boardgame.
