Title: what is this brushable ponies name? lemon heart? lemon tart?

apology's if this has come up before.
i have just received brushable....... ???  and have the blind bag version(in photo) and they have totally different cutie marks and eyes so just wondering if they ARE the same pony?? brushable has diamonds for symbols.
does anybody have the box of the toy 'r' us 'Fan Favorites Collection' and does it have the name of this pony
please and thank you   :biggrin:
if not what is your opinion, i know blind bags can have their differences but different cutie marks?

I think they're probably different ponies. Besides the different cutie marks, they have different eye colors.

I have a sneaky feeling that the brushable maybe named Sapphire Shores. Just based purely on her colour scheme and her cutie mark.

Sapphire Shores wasn't a unicorn in the TV show, but we all know how HASBRO couldn't give two hooves about show accuracy, so what's horn between friends ;)

I'm really looking forward to find out who she is too!

The blind bag is Lemon Hearts, the brushie is Lemon Tarts.

They're both different (though similar) background ponies.

The fandom named her Lemon Tart, so I guess that's what she's called unless Hasbro decides something else.

Checked other thread, and her name is Lemony Gem.

On the back of the "Favorites" box, the brushable appears to be named Lemony Gem.

I've been wondering why people have been calling her "lemon tarts" when she has diamonds on her.  lemony Gem makes more sense (although I am going to still call her Lemon Tarts because I like it better).

Personay I think Lemony Gem sounds cute :D Sounds like something they'd call the G3's so I'm cool with that.

I love the colours of her aswell :) Could just be my national pride peeking up there though XD

Yep, it is officially Lemony Gem as I got the favorites set last night and it indeed says that. SUPER funny! :) She is pretty though!

:D yay thanks guys yay i have a name but what the.....? i like sapphire shore's cos it looks like sapphires on her cutie and lemony gem is a weird name, so yer hasbro your special LOL
sad though that its not the same pony cos i like to pair up the brushables to the BB's on display but glad to see the her name goes with her cutie mark, i can not stand when the name has nothing to do with their CM

from what ive ead they changed her from lemon harets to lemony gem because flitterheart has the same cutie mark in diffrant colors

Am I the only one that sees the gems as being clear diamonds?  Much like how Cinderella's dress is really silver but has a blue shine to it due to the nature of the glittery shiny material catching the light of the moon and the dark blue night sky, I see Lemony's gems as being clear but catching the blue of her hair and the sky in them.

I just had a thought. Isn't it odd that Lemony Gems is included in a "Fan Favorites" set when we don't really know who she is? I mean she's not a prominent background pony in the show to my knowledge, is she? I know I've seen Flower Wishes in the background of the show and Lemon Hearts (clearly with a hearts cutie mark) and there is the fan named "Lemon Tart" on the FiM wiki list of ponies but I can't even see her cutie mark. It makes me wonder if Lemony Gem be in the show next season or ...

In the Pony Wedding Episode, when Queen Chrysalis sends Twilight to the caves beneath Canterlot she says the caves were "once home to greedy unicorns who wanted to claim the gems..." What if those caves are the remnants of the Crystal Empire? and what if Lemon Gems is one of the unicorns that used to live there? :nerdy: Is Hasbro prematurely making Lemony Gem a fan favorite or is she already and I'm just aware of her being popular?

ah ha very interesting and i also agree with above what you mentioned too, oh habro is so hard to understand at times, i guess time will tell, i wouldn't have minded if she did have flitterheart's cm cos lemon heart IS in the show.
maybe thats why they haven't released sweety blue cos of cupcake and shes in the show as mrs cake

cos she's a show pony  :)

its a shame lemony gem is a little rare due to being an exclusive release or i would customize another (brushable) into lemon hearts :P

I like "Lemony Gem" a lot better than "Lemon Tart". That's just too much like Strawberry Shortcake.  :huh: Hasbro (American Greetings) even changed the SSC character name of "Raspberry Tart" or "Raspberry Torte" because of the other meaning of "tart" so I can't see them naming a pony that!  :lol:

This is kind of funny. When I got the Lemon Hearts blind bag figure, I couldn't remember her name so I just called her Lemon Head. Pretty dang close. Just because it's funny, I'll rename Lemon Head back to Lemon Hearts and give the brushable the old name... lol :rofl:

Maybe the fan base expanded and so they worry more about public reaction.  Plus more new adult fans are involved and maybe they think more of the teens and such have dirty minds?

 then why not have stayed with lemon hearts?
 so i was watching FiM from the beginning yesterday with the kids and there is lemon hearts walking around in so many scenes and im shaking my head to the fan favorites lemony gem thinking she's not in the show, i love the brushable don't get me wrong but its not a fan fav just a hasbro mesh mash character   :blink:
