Is it just me or is anyone else finding them selves in a nirvana dry spell as of lately... I haven't been able to find anyone I'm looking for... and it's not like I'm only looking for one pony....
mind you I don't hunt as hard as some people do... but mostly because when I do I end up not finding anything close to what I'm looking for and I get frustrated and give up.

It's not just you! :drunk: I've been hunting desperately for a Paseo Heart Throb and have been getting 0 luck. Granted my wantlist has been shrinking, but even still, there are some Greeks I'm after that I haven't seen in forever, and some other Argies too. With the exception of my Venny Cherries coming back from whatever void she was stuck in, it feels like it's been forever since I've had ponymail. :drunk:

my last pony mail was a MOC that I just dumb lucked on seeing... and that was yesterday... but I haven't gotten a nirvana in what feels like ages.
I can't find any greeks either... I even want to swap out my MOC greek for an open one, but I doubt anyone out there is willing to trade. I just want a new nirvana.... lol I'd even settle for a non orange one on my wish list if I could find it.

I really want a Greek white Moondancer in Glory's pose, but at this point I'd settle for one in her usual pose even though I don't really care for it :yikes: I'd love a white Skydancer too, or possibly a Sunbeam with a nice symbol... *siiiigh*

I noticed its been quite on the nirvana front, there hasn't been much going on at the arena or on ebay...
Haven't found anything I am looking for in a long while now. Fingers crossed there will be a flood after the drought! : )

I've gone nuts lately buying nirvanas! but being opportunistic and getting ponys from lower down my wishlist. Those at the top of my wishlist just aren't about... Mexican Firefly! Rainbow Greeks (not on card)..
Italian Starflower is gorgeous Zora - she will be worth the wait when you finally find her!

Personally I've been finding way too many that I want XD
I've started my quest to get my grails now - the Alternate Birthflowers. And I've found quite a lot of those gals. But I can't possibly afford them all in one go hehe.

@endocat - i had her once and sold her, ARRRRR! along with pinwheel. but now i got pinwheel in a lot and i decided to keep her. she and starflower belong TOGETHER! :D

I've been riding on a Nirvana high lately:). I seriously have bought 6 Argies in the last few months. However in all fairness, I went through a serious dry spell from January to May! I hate when you have pony monies and there are no ponies to buy!!
I hope you're able to find some Nirvanas soon, I personally want to see more brags:).

Yeah, there are a few Argies that I want and they aren't popping up. Seeing as I don't have too much cash right now, I'll be patient.

my collecting has really slowed down over the past few years, but it is due to having most of the ponies i want :)

well I still need a few ponies... but I think it's safe to bet I wont be getting a Greek Orange Sunlight or Greek Orange Parasol, anytime soon... :sigh:

I'm after a Brazil Heart Throb in good condition...but haven't seen one since a while.
And I haven't bought any Argis since a while.
I only collect Argis in MOC condition what the search make harder then looking for the loose ones...
Oh yeah and I'm still draming of the Moc Greek Yelloow Moondancer I passed on a few years ago... ahhh!!

All the ones I want (except Polly, who is out of my price range right now) are Argies. I don't need them MOC, but they are some of the rarer Argies. Maybe once I get a job and have money to spend, some will pop up and it will all work out :)

yup! def dry spell over here!! but my wishlist is pretty small so i think the rest of my collecting career is gonna be one big dry spell lol!

I notice this too. Hardly any nirvanas of any country on ebay except over priced ones in sad shape or I already own them. I have half of my want list, but still lots more I'm missing. Hopefully after the summer, things will pick up again. Gotta try to save some money between now and then. Easier said than done, lol.

yeah I can't stand not being able to find anything... not that I need to spend the money, but for the last two years I've been collecting I've constantly been buying, so going through a "dry spell" is taking a toll on me :P
I think my wishlist has about 10 or so nirvana's, which you wouldn't think is that small but I guess it is... dang buying everything I wanted.

No one seems to want the nirvanas offered either *stares at Vennie Starshine, Spanish Sugarberry and Italian Butterjack* - these ladies seem to have to stay with me forever :P

I would LOVE Spanish Sugarberry since Sugarberry is one of my favorite ponies. However cash is kind of stopping me at the moment from buying Nirvanas :P

My wishlist is also small, so not many additions for me this year, but there have been a couple. As the wishlist gets smaller, the prices go up though!

I know! I looked at your price guide vs. what I have seen a couple of them sell for and wow! That being said, I haven't seen too many Argies on e-bay or around the Arena that are on my wishlist lately, and I don't know of anywhere else to look for them. It seems like when I was after the babies, there were a lot of the rarer adults out there that now I wish I hadn't missed!

is there a particular argie you're thinking of? i try to keep my prices up to date but i do miss some occasionally :)

oh maybe you're thinking of posey??
that one was actually a variant.. she has red flowers instead of pink... very purdy, never seen/heard of her until that auction :)
thats why she sold for so much more than normal posey
im hoping somone here won her so we can see more pics! and maybe some comparison ones too :)

There was a Novia up for over $200, I think. She was a really pretty one, though. Makes me wish I could have afforded her. There's an Argie right now going for over $300 (can't remember who), and I can't think off the top of my head of what the others were.
I like the Paseos and the Peachy variants, and I know I saw at least a few Paseos and a yellow/orange peachy variant that I passed up when I was only looking for babies. I have never seen the blue and white Peachy for sale anywhere, though.
Edit: Ok I searched through the completed sales on e-bay and I couldn't find the $200 Novia, but there was one for like $159 or best offer (I don't know how to tell how much the buyer actually paid). Also looked like a couple of babies went much higher than expected too.

oh ya that novia sold for $90 :)
as for the babies, many times i dodnt update the price if there was only one bid. like there was a baby CC that started at $50 + $17 for shipping. only one person bid so i just figured it was a fluke and just one person *really* wanted her, rather than it being the true going rate for her

Yeah, makes sense. It's not that I think that your prices are inaccurate, just that like you said, the prices on Argies seem to be going up lately, even since I started getting into them last year.
Why is it that they go up when some of the others, like Greeks, seem to be decreasing? Anyone have an idea, or is it just random supply and demand?

I havent been able to find anything lately! Mind, its not like ive got all that much money to spend but i like too keep updated on what's for sale. im always keeping my eyes peeled for nirvana Gusty's and i havent seen any since that massive sale recently on here, and im always looking for argie Hearthrobs or Wingers which never come up seemingly recently... Where have all the Nirvana's gone? :cry:

Hey PKW - Same here - life has got a little crazy for me.....ponies are not top of the list anymore!.
Having said that - now I am sneaking back the the Arena.....there is always room for just one more!!
I will look about!!!!!!
