Hello! I am Alisha and I am currently living in Portland, Oregon. I love nature, animals, and science (I have a degree in biology), and I am OBSESSED with birds... especially NZ fantails (my username explained). I also love crafts, especially needle felting, and I have a small Etsy shop where I sell my felted creatures. I remember playing with ponies when I was a kid, and specific ponies I remember are stardancer and princess primrose, which I know my mom still has princes primrose, and possibly more so I am excited to look for them when I go back home! I just got back into ponies in the past few months because of Friendship is Magic, and I now have a pretty healthy collection of G4s :) In the past few weeks though I have been having fun buying and cleaning up any G1s I find, and that has gotten me into the babies, so now I have a small G1 baby collection, and I think that it is quickly becoming my favorite. I have been reading and enjoying the arena for a bit now, and figured it is finally time for me to join, and I know I will have lots of fun :)

to the Arena. I live in NZ and often see fantails when I am riding my horse. They are so friendly and come really close :)

I am super jealous of you :P! I lived in NZ for four months and my favorite times were when the fantails would follow me when I was hiking to try to catch the bugs that I would kick up.

Welcome to the Arena, have you ever seen the Hasbro Fairy Tails Fan Tails? They are stunning.

Hello and welcome to the Arena!
So happy you are here!

Welcome fellow Northwest person! I'm still fairly new here myself.
That's awesome about being a biologist! XD I was always more of a physics girl but I ended up settling on being a writer and artist.

I actually just found out about those about a week ago, and I must have them! I had some of the normal(?) fairy tails as a child, but never a fan tail!

Thanks! and welcome to you too! I totally understand that, my new 'job' is crafting, and my boyfriend is an artist so I end up being in the art scene way more than the science scene XD
