Title: My mom has the best pony luck! :D

So a couple of weeks ago, my mom went thrift shopping without me (I had work) and I asked her to keep her eye out for ponies, of course.  :D  When I got back home from work, she told me that she had found some ponies and to check the bag.

I opened up the bag to find a plastic bag of McDonald's g3s and g4s, one bag of baity g3s with haircuts (Sunrise Song and Luau; they're on my sales page if anyone's interested) and one bag of g1s.  As I ripped open the g1 bag, I got super excited because I found:

MO Mommy Pony!  :frolic:  Can you believe it?  My jaw just dropped when I realized who was hiding in the bag and I thanked my mom profusely.  And then I had to explain why she was so special.  :D

All those girls for a combined total of $7.  Mommy Pony came out to being under $2.  I think my mom did really well.

Mommy pony is gorgeous, btw.  Hair still needs to be recurled but most of her marks came off, except a faint orange one on the chest.  No rubs on scratches otherwise and no haircuts.  I definitely need to take better photos but she's now one of the highlights of my collection.

And my mom is one of the bestest moms ever!  :D

Wow!  I guess you will be getting your mother something really special for mother's day this year then?  LOL.  That was an awesome find.  All of the ponies look so bright and new too.  Major congrats :cheer:

ah, what lovely finds! and yeah, moms are always so lucky when it comes to thrift stores and flea markets - mine was like this too, she kept finding and bringing me various things I searched for and adored <3

 :dropjaw:  Wow!  I'd like to think that my mom or husband would buy ponies for me if they came across them, but in reality I think they would just keep going because "I already have too many" in their eyes.  Your mom DOES have the best pony luck!  You should make her dinner or something!

Thanks for the comments, everyone.  :)  Baby hasn't turned up yet but we're looking out for her.

BTW, my mom appreciates the suggestions of flowers and dinner.  Don't know what I'm doing for her yet but I know I owe her something big.  :)
