Weeellllll.... (This is kinda long, so I did a spoiler X3)SpoilerI haven't had that many problems, but I have had a few. The worst was when my Sig. Ghoulia's hand wouldn't go back on - and this phase of handlessness lasted an entire YEAR. So it all began on the first day I got her. I was totally new to MH. Sure, I had read the entire MH Discussion thread that was current at the time, and half of the thread before. But I was still learning. And when I found out that you could remove their hands and lower arms, of course I had to try it out for myself. I took her right arm out and was like, "Cool! Now.. let's put it back in!" I gently push it back into place and it wasn't going in. I continued shoving it in but nothing worked! I cried for hours, but still, she had one hand, and one hand only. (Whenever people were like "Why does she have one hand?" I'd say, "Oh, she's based off a zombie. That's totally normal." XD)
One year later, I get back into MH, and remebered... "Oh shoot! I have a zombie without a hand!" and dash into my room, where Ghoulia was lying down, with her hand not so far away from her. I didn't have a clue what to do, so I posted here asking for advice, and everyone suggested to get some steaming hot water and keep the hand in there for a few seconds, and after half of hour of pure determination, hard work, and a poopload of cussing... Her hand was back in place! :DSo... Umm... Yeah. The end. :3

Ok, I finally figured out what's up with the ST dolls and the Targets in my area. All stores are showing availability and I confirmed that they all have 6 dolls. However, none of the stores can find them. They are not on the floor and they don't have a stock room location. Today I got confirmation that they are holding them until the shelf date of the 29th. I've also been told that they are marked as collectibles in their system. According to the manager I spoke to today, that means the employees are not supposed to help you find them, not bring them out from the stock room. So yeah, they're not making it easy!
..while I understand the logic behind that... they could at least help you out and tell you if they have them our not.. even if they can't pull them from the stock room. It's just ugh... I get it's to prevent scalpers, to let the kids get their toylines.. but how does that help the children who want these toys? I swear, I will never get stores logic.

This is terrible, both Targets I went to were SUPER helpful, and even checked whatever assortment they had of random dolls for the elusive two. No luck there, though.
I don't really understand, from Target's point of view. If you were asking for them, you are going to buy them, that is a guaranteed sale. If they make you wait, they aren't guaranteed that money. even if you give them the benefit of the doubt that they are stopping scalpers [which I don't think their motives are so altruistic] wouldn't they want the money? Congrats Airiel, what store did you find them in? I ran across a Skull Shores pack last Monday while doing my rounds, it was hidden behind a bunch of Gloom Beach sets, so hopefully it will be popping up in your area soon. :) I'm kind of kicking myself that I didn't pick them up, I really want that Cleo, but I was trying to curb my doll-bender a bit. ;)

DT and Classroom Ghoulia are my favourites :D Classroom Ghoulia looks especially pretty with a ribbon tied around her pony tail!
Hellinor- The twins tails can actually be rotated in their sockets, so if you want you can move them up or down behind their backs or legs. In that pic Toralei's tail is behind the girl on the left. Hers has a wire in it that the other's dont have that makes it poseable. So yes, I think those cases will be just fine for your girls.
I really hope they arrive to you tomorrow and get there safe and sound. ^^

When all you lucky ladies and gents get your Scarahs, could you be so kind to post pictures of her and Frankie side by side (or any doll that would be a good base for a custom.) I know GB Frankie was used in a pinch at CC last year, but I'd like to see how she turned out IRL.
I think it was easier for the people overseas, don't know why. One of my friends in Sweden klicked through and got her right away, no waiting room for her. Plus, she was charged less in shipping for 2 Scarahs then they charged me for 2 Polly Pockets.

It sucks that you would have to consider adding hair to a doll that is so expensive, though. For the amount of money I'm considering paying for her, she should come with a diamond ring from Hoodude :lol:

Alright. I was upset when I thought I would have to pay $80 for Scarah on ebay, when she costs $25. Now she's practically $100! Please tell me she'll go back down:( Now I'm praying for $80 :lol: Is this just because people are freaking out about losing her this morning? Any guess as to what her pricing will be like in the future? I'm not holding my breath for one at cost, but I CAN'T spend $100 on this doll. I don't like her enough.

I love that the SS 5-pack has fewer repeat dolls, but the GB 5-pack has stands and a plastic accessory for each girl, plus a brush and a postcard. Considering it retails for the same price, I wish they'd put the same extras into the SS pack. Even just tossing in the already-produced drinks for Ghoulia and Ula plus the stands would have made me really happy. (Of course I still love the dolls themselves - Clawdeen's hair and Cleo's shoes are to die for!)

I lucked up and came across Venus at WalMart tonight! She wasn't even on the shelf, she was in a pile of stuff at the end of the row that the stock people were putting BACK on the shelves. I guess someone had hidden her on a different row, but didn't come back for her soon enough and she was in the process of being put back where she belonged. I didn't even spot her first, I walked past and my husband stopped behind me and said, "Oh hey, what's that??" and pointed at the pile...I saw her laying on top and I snatched her up and said "THAT is coming home with me, that's what that is!" LOL

Found the I ♥ Fashion Abbey today! I'm keeping her in the box for now though....her eyes are perfect, but her teeth are painted on a little wonky, so if I can find another I might switch them.Ahhh lucky! I want the I <3 Fashion Abbey so much! She'd probably be fighting for my voucher's love against ST Clawdeen... I need both of them for my collection... but they are just so amazing in their own ways... dammit. It sucks that my fiance's mother has gone into full on.. um... animal (this is the most polite way I can put it) mode about.. everything and feels as though we're too busy buying BS (never mind she'd do the same, and has in the past, but that is best for a WYP thread XD) that I can't rightfully grab both (even though one will be free!).... eh, I'll see how next week goes. My Hubby-to-be and I were discussing this years lego Star wars advent calendar and he replied "-what if they would release a MH calender? With clothes and shoes for the dolls!"
And I was like "-yeah, right...mattel would do that...as if..." and afterwords I am like "-But....I WANTS IT NOW!"

Just to clarify, Toralei does have an rip as part of her shirt's design. Did the feathers catch in this and snag it? I just wanted to point it out in case it's the part that's meant to be there. I didn't really notice it at first on mine and thought I had put it there initially, since it's un-hemmed and looks like a slash in the fabric.
Boo....I just got Venus and Robecca in the mail and Robecca has some horrible wonk eye going on. :( She's looking off in two different directions and one of her eyebrows is covering the bolts on her forehead. I contacted Mattel and they told me to send her back for a replacement, but in doing so I will have to pay return shipping. I can't be happy with her the way she is so I guess I'm just going to have to suck it up and do it. This kind of spoiled my day, I was really looking forward to receiving her today.
Oh well. I think I may try and head out to Walmart later to see if I can find another in the meantime.

Went to work today at the Mall, My Boss sends me out to go pick him up a few things and went into Zellers (Canadian Version of Target, but soon to be Target) to pick him up Peanut Butter, well anyways i swung by the toys and they finally had some new stuff They had 4 DDG Dolls and I was missing Lagoona so Snagged her up. YEAY!
Went to the check out and low and behold the tills were all down so i had to wait like 20 min till they rebooted and was only able to purchase my bosses stuff so I put DDG Lagoona on hold till lunch.
Went back at lunch and took another peak in the otys and all the DDG Dolls er GONE! Wasn't surprised though but was so happy I put the only Lagoona on hold. But tey did just put out the Ghouls Rule dolls on the shelf i was so tempted to put them on hold till tomorrow but After Examining the two Draculaura's I had to pass their bangs were all smashed and puffed out of control. Plus after thinking I want a set from the US to keep MIB since you guys dont have the translated languages on the box.
Any whoo I did get my doll at lunch YEAY! When I got home I got a package and low and Behold I got my 2 Scarah's I pre ordered off ebay YEAY! So Happy they arrived Safe! What a Great Day!

Just wanted to mention that if anybody is near the area of Fort Wayne, Indiana: the CAM packs with 2 torsos are available at the Target there. Right now the only ones on the shelves are the Witch/Cat and the Sea Monster/Vampire but both come with 2 torsos. :)
My sister grabbed one of each and she gave me the Sea Monster/Vampire set (eek!) so we're going to be customizing our dolls later once she gets home from our dad's house in August.

I've been refreshing the page obsessively all day and when I saw $19.99 I was like BUY BUY BUY! It says my order may take an additional 1-2 days to process, and estimated arrival date is a week from today, but I'm optimistic. I have prime so I always get stuff really fast.My same thoughts! The stores here never really clear out. I'm so glad of that. Not even $15 off the regular price of $35 for Dawn of the Dance dolls was enough to clear them off the shelves at Farmers. There are still plenty. And now they're having another 20% off toy sale.

I came across Ghoulia and her Scooter last Friday at my local TRU, hidden behind some Beiber dolls. She's such a pretty doll, but I ended up leaving her behind. Her outfit is the only thing I'm really interested in tracking down eventually, I love those boots.
There doesn't seem to be as much love for the Draculaura and Powder Room set, they had nearly an entire shelf filled with them. I guess there's only so much you can do with a bathtub when compared to a scooter, lol. Her hair looks like such a mess in person, so that may also be a part of it. I think she'd look really cute with a proper boil perm. :)
I'm hoping I can find an upgrade for signature Draculaura this weekend while on my mini vacation. My original doll is so wonk-eyed, lol, it never used to bother me as much before, I suppose I was less picky when I first started collecting these, but lately I can't look at her without cracking up. I had been kicking myself that I wasn't more proactive about upgrading her before the first run of signature dolls disappeared from shelves, so it seems like I was given another crack at it with the re-releases.Going to go hunt for Venus and Robecca tomorrow- I'm going to get my best friend her birthday presents and decided to make it a doll hunting spree too now that I FINALLY HAVE MY FIRST JOB! Is anyone looking for ST dolls? My Target has all of them, I'm going there now.
I have a couple of dolls I am going to make a complaint to mattel about, is it better to email them or call them? And what do they usually end up doing about the problem(s). I have Ghoulia from the fearleading pack that has a weird knee and weird hips that kind of pop out when I put her in the sitting position, then my DT frankie has a smudged eye and my DDG Spectra has a wonky eye, I'm still holding out hope on exhanging her though..

Yeah, the toys that are being prepared to go out during the reset are hard to find. They would have to go through tons of boxes to find the right one.

Been doll hunting today, no sign of Venus or Robecca (i was being optistic hunting for them anyway) but we haven't had the re-release cases yet either, and i'm starting to think we'll never see them here >_< I really want Frankie and Clawdeen, i missed them the first time. Have the re-released dolls actually been turning up outside of the US? I'm very curious to know since i assume as soon as Robecca and Venus start showing up its a sign we won't be getting them?
I am really irritated right now. I opened DDG Spectra, her hair is soft but looks like it has dreadful split ends. I decided to take out the pony tail and try to straighten the kinks out using hot water, her hair starting falling out and I can hardly comb through it its a big tangled disgusting mess and that's after washing it with shampoo and conditioner! What the crap!
As an aside, is anyone who styles their doll's hair having trouble with Robecca's? It's a different texture than most of the girls, and it tends to puff out like the CaM wigs. I've gotten it into a passable state, but I really want the lovely waves her proto has.

You know I have worried about that happening cause scalpers are let's face it, little imbalanced. I've also been worried about someone seeing them in my car (since I don't have a trunk, I have an SUV) and possibly breaking in to steal them I live in one of the worst car theft towns in the country... so the thought has crossed my mind. Glad you were okay though!
I worry about people breaking out the windows on my car, to steal my MH too! I've got a very small sports car, with a trunk that holds the convertible top, and nothing else >_<
I think if someone asked me for the doll I walking around the store with, I'd probably give in. I'm a whimp like that. Plus, I tend to think other people are in greater need than I am. Although, I usually don't give anyone a shot:) As soon as I have the doll I want in my hand, I practically run to the checkout :lol: I think I shop at odd hours, too. I'm usually all by myself down the toy aisles, and if there is anyone else there, I'll let them have first pick, so I can shop alone.
The only "interaction" I had with someone was when DotD wave 2 was one the shelf. A woman was hovering the MH section on her cell phone, wasting my time. She picked up a Lagoona, and put it back and moved down the aisle a bit. I thought she was finished, so I picked up Lagonna and looked at her. I wasn't impressed with her face-up and put her down to think about it. As soon as I let go she reached in front of me, and took her. Little did I know, it would be the first and last time I ever saw DotD 2 in stores:(

So, went to Walmart today, and was super disappointed to find most of the toy shelves devoid of anything interesting. I really didn;t want to leave with nothing in my hands after having walked to the mall and then got on a bus and transfered onto another just to get there, so I left with Adam Lambert's new cd and a hanging head. Serious mission time! De-gunk my Rochelle's hair, it feels nasty! I /think/ it might be glue seepage, but i'm not so sure since her hair feels quite greasy even away from the roots. She had a grease stain on her box too when i got her out. So far i've just washed wih shampoo, she's currently drying but her hair feels kind of sticky and greasy still. I'll wait 'til she's dried off and maybe wash again with shampoo, if that doesn't work time for plan B, Twin Pines formula 9-1-1. Anyone tried it? I remember reading good things about it and am really hoping it'll kill the glue seepage gunk, Anyone have any tips?

well other then taking their leg off, how do you tell, just pull on it ever so slightly?Yeah, you can pull elastic joints out of the socket as it were, whereas you can't really do that with the plastic ball joints. You can also tell just by spreading their legs and looking in the gap, although you can't really do that if they've got pants or tights on ... you'd have to pull them down a bit first.

I am -this- close to going what the heck and buying a ton of dolls off ebay, haha, but I'm really holding back. I had no idea she existed as I got a wave 1 Draculaura back when they were released, and then did not even think of MH until I got a Killer Style Frankie for my birthday in early may. I'm having a opposite and quite unfair problem I'm afraid :/ I managed to snag Scarah on mattycollector, but have since found that I don't really like her or hoodude. I'm considering finding someone to trade with since I'm still looking for Robecca, venus and ST Clawdeen. but then there's the question: Should I sell her first or trade her plain off. And if so, for how much? I do agree she's going for crazy money on ebay and it's unfair to many collectors looking for her, but I'm not made of money either and could really use the money to get the dolls I really want. I regret getting her in the first place :(

What do the ST dolls retail at? Like nearly $25 or something (counting tax and all that)..? Because that would be (guesstimating them at $25 each for an easy number to work with), $75... which doesn't seem.. right. To me, at least. Everyone is so upset about how much she is costing on eBay (around that mark), but fail to factor in that when you trade you still paid money for those dolls. And I wouldn't want to think about the money shipping three dolls would be (assuming they needed to be kept MIB for shipping).
Heh, I think that comes off as me "whining".. but I guess my method of thinking is if people are so upset at what Scarah's are worth after market right now, they shouldn't be spending more than $40 plus shipping on her (even in trade value). I think I just went all derp here and am making no sense.. haha.

Though did you know what the post man did? He left the package on the staircase to the door, IN THE RAIN. Good that it was shipped to my moms house so she could immediately unpack them when she came home. And GOOD thay they were packed in bubblewrap.

Her knees are really loose, but I love her so much anyway! Her face-up is perfect! This is by far my favorite Lala. In fact, I think she's the only one I really like. I like that she's not as pink as the others, as well. I'm going to be taking lots of pictures of her, I can just tell.
My Roller Maze Frankie also arrived. Her hair is a bit messy, so I need to wash it and tidy it up before I start taking any photos of her.
I recently had oral surgery that ended up having some complications and now I'm diagnosed with some crappy jaw problem but today my stubborn other half insisted on buying DDG Lagoona for me as a "get well" gift. I argued about how I felt bad about it but there was no talking out of it, but it's okay because I've been dyyyyyying for her. ;u;
So yaay, I finally have her! She's so gorgeous and it makes me so happy that I went along with the whole get well soon gift idea even though we're a tiny bit short on money until Friday due to the surgery/hospital bills. I knew I probably wouldn't see her again since we never go to that Toys R Us. >u<

pukunui: Oh awesome! That lipstick-colour really suits her! Dang, you guys make me want to own a Lagoona so badly. I just cannot decide which one yet. :<Thanks. I didn't like her default lipstick. I felt like it made her mouth look too big. I wiped it off, but then I wasn't able to mix up either a nice baby pink or a teal to go with her eyeshadow/earring colors, so I ended up going with the lavender to match her eyebrows. It's actually not as dark in person. I think my photoshop editing made it a little darker. I wish it was a bit easier to make the paint smooth. There are a few little lumps and smudges on the lipstick. Looks all right from a distance though.
I guess we have to depend on the kindness of our fellow US-members here once more. :heart: ^^;

I don't think they ship international. And you cannot check her availability singularly as I said before- she's in an assortment, you'd need to go into an Argos and wait for them in person to go and bring you what they have :huh: I did it with Venus & Robecca a few weeks ago...
I only bought the pack for the bee girl. So my others will go up for sale.

I was in heaven...I got clawdeen nd draculara scary tales and robecca and Venus. Also grabbed a La Dee Da doll. It was a good day!!!! Maybe they just had boxes left over? I did some temp work a few years back for on of QVCs packing agencies, and quite often we had large boxes of excess packaging that needed re-labelling so they could still use them.I hope that's the case! I've been talking to a co-worker about MH for a week or two now, and today she told me she bought one:) She picked up SS Lala. She said she was using her for a model for her drawings (she wants to be an artist when she 'grows up' :lol:) She said when I had mentioned that they could be posed it practically any way, she got to thinking they'd be better than those wooden dolls sold at art supplies stores, that don't pose all that well. Just wondered: is there any major difference between Abbey in the signature version and the one from Skull Shores? I tend to like the Skull Shores one better for her "softer" look, but maybe the doll itself is the same after taking off the clothes and accessories? :blink:

"Kimono" was the first thing I thought when I first saw the Powder Room Lala, and that immediately put me in mind of O-Ren Ishii from Kill Bill, so it was just a matter of getting the doll and finding a katana that was the right scale. Since the one I got came from the replica Baby Doll figure that goes for like $200, it's pretty high quality. I think it's actually made of metal.

I went today to a couple of stores. The only thing I actively want is bee girl, three0eye girl, and Skele girl, because I got the pack. No luck, but my local Walmart has a Signature Jackson with a smooshed box that has been eyeing me for three weeks. I cannot justify him, because I have the GB version... 20$!

A box from the US weighing 2 pounds ships for about $18 and a 3 pound box ships for about $25, so if anyone can find them for you, that is about what you should expect to pay.

I know to ship a doll insured and tracked to Europe it's at least $38. It's just what it costs. You cannot blame sellers for protecting themselves.
Sadly eBay is a buyer's market, and sellers often times will get in trouble very easily (trust me, as a buyer I've won many cases.. though the sellers were at fault, we ended up getting full refunds when we only asked for partials because eBay ruled in our favor). And for some (myself included) potentially having to deal with a buyer lying and cheating us out of hard earned money is not one a risk they're willing to take and will either refuse the international buyers or only offer Express Mail international (and will only ship as the listing shows to safe themselves).I know to ship a doll insured and tracked to Europe it's at least $38. well that's why I meant that non-tracked should still be an option but on the buyers risque. With all the target and wal-mart exclusives that MH have, I just don't want to pay twice the dolls price to have it tracked. Then I'd rather take a risque
Yeah, it is totally awful, I agree. I guess I get a little passionate when people get upset over the shipping costs because I then feel awful because I personally would prefer not to ship internationally, and if I do I ship only with tracking and I feel awful because of it ;o;!

I think Rochelle's little crush on Deuce from afar is really cute and I'd like to see their friendship grow, but I'd hate to see Mattel separate him from Cleo because of it. It would just feel odd because Cleo and Deuce were introduced as the first couple in the franchise, we couldn't even purchase one without the other in the first wave. It would reminiscent of when they split up Barbie and Ken all over again. ;)
Playing around with the triangle might be fun, but I don't think it will or should go any farther than that, or make Deuce seem weak-willed and torn over the two.

Personally, I'd like them to keep Deuce and Cleo together. There are many reasons, but the main one is how well they compliment each other. Sure, Cleo may be an outspoken diva, but she's also generous and has a kind heart. She's not a villain (although the first set of webisodes portrayed her that way) and I think she and Deuce balance each other out. Also, storyline wise, it looks like Nefera is coming back, and I really wouldn't want to see Cleo take two hits in one go.
One thing I've always enjoyed about this line is how not every character is obsessed with having a boyfriend. There are three with canon "significant others", with Ghoulia's possible romance with Slo-Mo being a fourth. But other than Frankie and Rochelle, the others are pretty "whatever" about finding a mate, and I like that. I think breaking up the quintessential couple would change this dynamic a lot. Also, I wouldn't like the implications of a strong, outspoken female losing her long term boyfriend to a more subtle, "feminine" character. So far, they've done a great job of showing different dynamics (Operetta having a platonic relationship with Deuce and Holt comes to mind); Clawd and Lala already portray the jock/girly-girl couple. No need for another one so similar.

I was just at the only toystore in my town which apart from beeing awefully over-priced usually have a surprisingly well stocked and updated MH-shelf. And they had (to My surprise) the new MH CAM lab sets. And I really REALLY like the unicorn! ...or the head At least, it was pale blue, wich I love. But the no-lips and no torso it's kind of a deal breaker for me. But what if mattel releases torsos like the other set? I'd love that! Does anyone here got the unicorn set yet? :D

I love the MH wigs. Sometimes I think I'm the only one.The only one I have is the wig for the bee girl but I think it's pretty nice! Just needed a warm water rinse to get rid of that gel on the bangs.

I was at Walmart today and found some MH folders in the Back to School section. I only bought one, but the others included one with closeups of the four main girls faces and one with the MH logo that says, "I survived Monster High." I don't know a whole lot about them. They're from Japan and they're little octopi. They come in a variety of different kinds. These ones are meant to double as ice cream scoops. They're pretty hard to find (and therefore on the pricey side). They also have translucent ones that look pretty cool. I got them because they put me in mind of Cthulhu and I thought they'd make for good Monster High photo props, so expect to see them in upcoming photos!
Oh, and the DT Lagoona that kamakazee82 sent me arrived this morning! She is adorable! I love all her accessories. The hydration station was too heavy to ship straight here, though, so she is sending it to my parents who will bring it down with them at Christmas (along with Lala's powder room).

Are the Killer Style dolls still shipping to the stores? My sister and I decided we like that Draculaura doll the best.. lolKiller Style Lala is the same as Gloom Beach Lala, just FYI. And you can buy embellished versions of both Killer Style Frankie and Killer Style Lala's outfits as a separate fashion pack. So if you can't find the actual doll, you could always buy a GB Lala and the fashion pack.

how does that even happen if the legs are made from the same molds?I think it boils down to how the legs are placed into the torso.. so someone on the line working a little too fast/sloppy shoves them in, in just the wrong way to make this work.

I fear for the day when I have to complain about a doll to Mattel. Some people complain about small things. I'm afraid Mattel will stop being so helpful soon. Kinda like what happened to Pickle. He has a BIG problem, right out of the box, and they blow him off. Others complain about a defect two years after they buy the doll, that has been played with for those two years, and they get a free doll. I don't get it.
I complained about Spectra's legs myself, included a photo and all the information they could need and they granted me a $18 voucher for use in-store for any Mattel/Fisher Price item. All hope isn't lost for Pickle! ;A;

My first SS Lala has a row of plugs missing in the back of her head. It's hairline plugs, too! You know, the IMPORTANT ones! I never did anything about it because I'm so afraid they won't take me seriously if I make multiple complaints. I can look past Lala's hair. It's behind her head. Who ever looks back there? :lol: Plus I knew I'd get another with the SS 5 pack. I guess I'm afraid of using my one complaint on something small. (I know you aren't limited to one complaint, I just worry, for me, it will be)I've made multiple complaints and they've taken me seriously about every one of them. Hi Takoto, even when Toralei was still in rotation I never once saw her in store over here. Tesco online had a few a while back for a good price, but they're now listed as 'currently unavailable'. I'm hoping they might get some stock again one day...

I was aware of this before I got her, but I was still a bit surprised XD It looks hilarious when you bend the knee the "wrong" way, and so painful! In my opinion it makes her knees a bit loose :/ I find her more difficult to pose than the other girls since she has no "stop" for the knee.

How long have you been feeling this? If it's just a day or two, I'd probably wait. Maybe remove them from your collection and put them in a box or something. If after a week or two you still feel the same way, put them up for trade/sale. You can always get them again in the future. Even if you have to spend more, it's not like they're OOK or "only 30 made" :) I even do this with things I can't get back, and I rarely have any real remorse over letting the stuff go. Something I learned from my mom, and it's served me well over the years.
As far as stepping on toes; there's nothing in the rules that say you can't sell the same thing as other people on here. As long as you make your own trade/sales post and don't hijack someone else's of course :P
I'm thinking of going back to tru today and seeing if they still have the signature Spectra doll that I saw in there the other day. Only thing that bugs me is that tru charges about $4 more for the signature dolls than the other stores :/

My little brother (who I spoil A LOT) just called me because he's with my sister in southern of Sweden atm and went into a toystore to get me a MH doll XD I don't think he should spend his allowence on me but he was really persistant and apperantly bought me a doll and made me promise not to buy any doll until he gets home so I won't get a double. He's so sweet and I'm sitting here with the biggest smile on my face :3
Best part is, he totally got everything I was saying and could even tell me wich dolls the store had by reading the boxes (which is something my sister would'nt, she would just try to describe them O__o which is hard for me to translate!)

I thought School's Out Lagoona was the most gorgeous MH doll of them all for the longest time. She was my holiest of holy grails. I managed to get her in a trade, but once I had her in hand, I found I didn't like her that much. Her hair isn't all wavy like it is in the promo pic, and her lipstick made her mouth look too big. I wiped it off and repainted it and that has improved things. I still found that I preferred Mad Science Lagoona, though. I thought she was way prettier. Then, just recently, I got a Dead Tired Lagoona and now she is my absolute fave! Whew!

My point, though, was that most, if not all, of Disney's princesses and their stories pre-exist Disney by a long shot. You can do Rapunzel without copying Disney's portrayal of her in Tangled. I have a quickie question. My 1600 LaLa's lipstick smudged on the plastic of her box. There's a very teenytiny rub on her lips because of this. It's really not that noticeable, I just examine things really closely lol. Am I better off leaving it alone, or trying to mix up some acrylic paint to match? It has a total of 34 pages of MH goodness, cute posters and two pages dedicated to ''Horrorscopes''. I also have a feeling they'll include someone's diary every time as Cleo's diary is included, but I'm not sure if it's the same as the doll! I think the magazine is weekly released and it'll come with a cute extra present every week. This week was a monster high bracelet featuring Draculaura and Frankie!

I think you mixed two ''lines'' up! There are just your regular fashion dolls, going to Scaris. But in the ''batch'' of pictures that got leaked, they've also found dolls doing cool stuff. Spectra will glow, Clawdeen will howl and Frankie will light up too.
I guess that's what you're referencing too, instead of the Scaris line? Though if you did really mean them, I'm sorry! If they really DO talk, I guess I'll pass then.. I find toys that talk slightly scary. D:
Auugh! Random rant. Toralei was going for about 45$ a few weeks ago, without shipping. I was actually considering paying such a stupid price for her, but I held off because it was expensive, and she's just ONE doll. If you can believe it in one week the price is around 70$, without shipping now. :pullhair: I refuse to pay that. She was sold in retail stores...this is just crap! :throw: Just had to get that out. I'm so dang frustrated!

I hope these new talking gimmicked dolls aren't going to be the Scaris Signature dolls. I want Jinafire and Skelita to be just like the rest of the dolls I have, I don't want talking out of them. >,<;

I copy and pasted that paragraph into Google and came up with only one website that had this information listed and they had no sources for it, so I'd take this with a grain of salt to be honest. I'm thinking whoever posted it confused the two lines (Scaris/Travel dolls and Ghouls Alive). The descriptions that were sent out to retailers from the manufacturer mentioned nothing about the Scaris dolls having any electronic features and Spectra also isn't set to be included either of the Travel doll assortments.
Talking dolls would be really cute somewhere down the line and it's probably inevitable before we see them made for Monster High, but I really wouldn't want to see it debut in this particular set. I'm hoping it's just a rumor. :)

Also, I dont know if its just me but sometime I have the hardest time removing those pins that they connect to the dolls head to backing in the box. What is the easiest way to remove those from there heads? Any tips?
Those tabs are a bit annoying. I usually just try and clip off the end sticking through the cardboard packaging with some nail clippers and then push the rest into the head, but I've heard of others recommending pliers to tear them completely out.This is what I do: I try to pull them out with pliers and if that doesn't work, then I snip them off with scissors or a box cutter as close to the scalp as possible and then push the rest of it into the head.

I love ALL the CAMs, so I'm super excited about those and the Blob/Ice Starter set, as well! It'll be fun playing around with the molded wigs:)
Off topic: I'm thinking about complaining to Mattel about the Powder Room Playset. I think I may be nit-picking, though...... I am unhappy about the lack of painted trim on the vanity doors. It looks.....off. I can't return it, I HAVE to have the doll:( So now I have to buy the Basic playset to get the vanity I like?

There is no version without a doll. You'll probably have to get the furniture from someone who only bought it for the doll.

I liked the way Ghoulia's hair looked in the box, but once I pulled it out, meh. So I pulled her hair back into a high pony, rinsed her curls a bit, and straightened and trimmed her bangs. Very happy with her! This is one of my new favorite Ghoulias, although I need to replace her glasses.

It's just the lighting. I switched to some new bulbs and even though they're supposed to be neutral they definitely cast a pink tint (and one already burned out after like 2 weeks x_x)Oh OK. She actually looks kinda cool with pinkish skin.

It appears that Clawdeen has an upgraded version of her clothes , wit a shirt witout stripes since they stopped using stripes on her since Toralei's doll came out.

I've always wanted a MH doll, but never had the guts to buy one, as I've always hated dolls. the Coffin Bean doesn't have a version without a doll. They have a version with just Clawdeen and there will be a version with Clawdeen and Draculaura thats a Costco exclusive. The pack I got was marked as $35 from k-mart (I traded a commission so I didn't have to pay for it) but the Clawdeen is that pack is so pretty. She might just be worth it to be the third :D

No, it only gave me one option for shipping. And I knew that she'd sell out almost immediately so I didn't try and find any other shipping options! i was so paranoid that she would be gone by the time I checked out.
Did you lucky Scarah buyers pay more for faster shipping? I chose the cheap option so perhaps I'll have a longer wait >_< What's particularly frustrating is I had them sent to my parent's house as I'm at work during the day, so for all I know she could have arrived!
I love SDCC Ghoulia too but as I only collect the signature dolls Scarah and Hoodude were must-haves for me! Even my boyfriend said Hoodude was really cool and "you should get that one" (clearly thinking obtaining them was an easy feat :lol:)

Is anyone finding the Ghoulia plus scooter set at their TRU? I swear my TRU is so far behind! We haven't gotten the I <3 Fashion dolls or either of the doll+ exclusives.
Also, are the dolls on the back of the boxes any indication of what will be coming out soon? Like on my new release Abbey there is an image of wave 1 Ghoulia and the wave 2 versions of Lagoona and Cleo. Does the fact that they make an appearance on the back of the box mean that we could see them in stores again soon?

Forgot to mention this earlier:) I saw La Dee Dah fashions today and loved them all! SO cute. I've heard they fit MH, too. Someone should buy them (and the new Bratzs with wigs) and take photos of them ;)

Are you kidding me, Target has no right doing that. They may dislike scalpers but they HAVE to sell to anyone that wants them. They said that to me once bacause they are constantly out of everything and they said the same couple of people come in every week and buy out there stock and they CANT say no.. -_-
Also about the employees keeping things in back, its true. There are alot of employees in walmarts That don't stock things out and buy the case during there break or the end of there shift! Since it happens in walmart im sure it happens in other places at well... Wow... I hate scalpers!

Hopefully I can track her down to use my voucher on if I finally give up on Venus/Robecca (because we all know that's when we find stuff, after we buy something else XD)
I love her shimmery dress. It really reminds me of melting snow. Her shoes are pretty awesome. They're see-through with a blue gradiant and glitter on the top and a pearly pink sheen throughout. Her tubetop is soft and furry. Her face is by no means an undiscernible glittery mess like earlier photos made it look. She's one of my favorite Abbeys!
Also, where are people finding Dead Tired 2.0 dolls other than online? The only time I saw them was at a Love's gas station when I was traveling across the country.

For anyone who has GR Abbey, can I get a UPC? My Walmart said they just reset the toy section but haven't got the toys off of the pallets yet so if the UPC is any different from the others that would be helpful. I guess if its a cross reference that doesn't help much.. unless the employee knows how to check cross referencing in their machine.. which not many do.. O.o
Thanks so much! Those are the numbers I need :) I tried having an associate use the item number that shows up on walmarts website but it wasn't showing up in their system so I'm not sure if the item number is different from online vs. Stores. Those numbers should help me out though, thanks again!!!

Does anyone have the link to the DPCI checker for the Scary Tales dolls? I've never seen them around here. What is their official release date?They should be out now... I know my Target had a tag for them the last I went (but nothing on the self), and they are pretty good to sticking to their 'dates'

I saw about 10 Rochelles at TrU the other day. She seems to be widely available in my area.
