Hi, i was browsing another site and found this pic… from 2007, i thought i had ordered that pony from somebody here on the arena from australia as it was an exclusive there.. but as i read the posts, it seems she was never released but i am pretty sure i have it.. i remember beeing over excited that i was able to find her, but that'S like 5 years ago... but my boxes of ponies from 2007 haven't been opened since like 2008 and i don't want to go through 140 boxes tonite.. i just wanted to know if anyone here has that pony…:/ or if i'm just blipo!
thanks

I'm from Australia, and I certainly never saw it. And I think I would have remembered her cause she's a beauty. I of course could be wrong.
-
from what i have read, she was at kmart ( versions of her) but then again.. I could be wrong too:) so many ponies since then i lost track:)
-
I was a huge collector back in 08, and I never saw this girl O_O
-
i must be wrong then… but i still think (wish) ther is a possiblity that i have her..:/ i'll find out when i set up my new pony room later this year..
thanks!

There was a cute curtsey but she was different, her symbol was different although she had pretty much the same carriage.
-
She sure is pretty! She kind of reminds me of the Monster High doll, Abby.
-
The carriage of the released one is actually pink with yellow birds, and the pony has a bow. She is pretty, but I like this one much better.
-
99% sure she was never released... You may be thinking of this set with Sno-Glo that was only released internationally.

If I remember correctly, the Sno-Glo above and that Cute Curtsey were featured in a Kmart sales ad in Australia. I wish I still had the pic. I lost it when my old pc crashed.
I believe Cute Curtsey was never found... only Sno-Glo. Someone please prove me wrong as I love that version!!
-
I seem to recall her never being found but I would love to be proven wrong! :)
-
She is gorgeous, never saw here in australia!
-
Odd. She's really pretty too.. Hmm.. She almost looks like a Blue version of winter snow.. Im sure a seller in china has/d her lol :-p
-
I remember her pictures originally surfacing, but I don't recall her ever actually being released.
Then again, Bay Breeze was supposed to be released as a regular pony as well, and she was never produced beyond the MLP Fair "exclusive" run. (I use exclusive loosely in this sense, as she wasn't originally intended to be an exclusive.)
-
I believe what happened is the picture you posted along with another one of the set loose started turning up on various sites which let collectors know about new products. Then the Kmart catalogue came out [pic below] which had the Sno Glo picture but claimed "carriages" - the "s" implying multiple types of carriage - so people hoped that meant the Sno Glo and the Cute Curtsey were being sold. But everyone who went to stores never found anything other than Sno Glo. I guess this was a classic promo shot being released ahead of final product - I have never seen an image of her outside the 2 stock pictures so for me thats enough proof that she didnt ever exist in retail.
I much prefer the Cute Curtsey one as well but I guess for a winter-y release HB decided they needed "Snow" or similar in the ponies name title.

I used to work for a well known fashion company and this happened all the time. Samples would be made up ahead of a new collection and sent to the distributors. Photo shoots would be done and catalogues made. Then if not enough units were ordered, it would be become what's known as a non-buy. This would be mean that it didn't get put into production (too expensive if you can't meet the minimums) and the customers who had ordered it would have it cancelled from their orders.
Sometimes you don't find out about a non-buy until quite late on, so mail order companies etc, would already have prepared their site ready for people to start ordering.

Good old "stock promo photos" these drive me crazy in real life work and in pony-land :)

She's so beautiful! Ah! I wish she had been released. She would be on my most wanted list!
-
She is beautiful and I would love to have her but I'm afraid she's just a prototype hence the name of another pony on the package. I believe Cute Curtsey already had been released when this picture originally showed up.
-
I wonder why she was never released, such a beautiful pony. I wish Hasbro would do more Holiday themed ponies with the G4 line.
-
I was a die-hard collector back when the G3's first came out and all the way untill they started with Ponyville and the Core 7. And I can't recall ever seeing this girl poping up on Ebay.
Nevertheless though I'd still LOVE to have her :) She's so pretty. Wish they had released her.
-
This girl was high on my want list. If she was released I would have had her! But I don't. So....never released! Lol! I remember checking constantly to see if she came up anywhere but she never did. Boooooo.

I would love to see this as well.. But not the main six dressed up! I want some real winter ponies with snowflakes and what not!
-
So, how about someone here goes and gets employed by Hasbro, then makes us this pony? Deal? :P
She's sooo beautiful! Why does Hasbro always go for pink ponies  :(

Well in this case they did actually make two. But if there was no interest in the blue one then that's why it didn't get put into production.
-
Oh HB, you love to confuse us. xD
It's probably the same story as Ribbons and Hearts had. Made, looked amazing, never released for who knows why. u-u I still have hope Ribbons and Hearts will be released one day.

And just that old boring - but probably true - line of in a girls toy line pink probably sells better :) Doesnt stop it being frustrating though or stop the craving for some other colour!
-
Wow, she is pretty. She would be on my wish list if she ever existed!
-
Oh my gosh...Cute Curtsey is gorgeous!! I've never seen that picture before!
-
She is the winter variant
