Title: Chew marks
Post by: angela22 on July 15, 2012, 06:45:54 PM
Hi guys - what can be done about chew marks? I know Apoxie Sculpt and things can resculpt the missing parts (say an ear) but how do you get that area's color to then blend in with the rest of the plastic?

Thanks guys!

I use coloured sculpy, and blend the colours to get a match with the body.

I got a G1 with chewed off feet and chewed legs, I was gonna just sculpt her some knee high boots, Didnt know you could get colours to match, may have to look into that!

if they are indentations where the chew marks are use Apoxie.. You will have to smooth down the area and that can take some time, as will the paint mixing but it will be well worth it for the end result :)
