Title: First Pony

Does everyone remember the first pony they had and what happened to it?  Do you still have it?

Mine was G1 Butterscotch.  I was probably around 4 or 5 years old and I played with her so much that her tail turned green.  So, I popped her head off and removed her tail.  I think my mom threw her away sometime shortly after that because she "went missing".

I think SS magic star was my first pony. A nd she was alwa ys the leader of my herd. I still have her. She and paradise and ribbon all stand together. They were always inseparable. Lol.

I was given two Peachy's, a Blossom and I believe Tootsie by a cousin that had a garage sale. I still have them yep yep. ;)

Very simple. My first pony was the Sing and Dance Pinkie Pie. And it's still right here with me :P

My first pony was Cuddles...  but I never did play with her much, I thought she was funny looking.  :[  I ended up being way more into Barbies and Legos.   It wasn't until a year or so ago I discovered a love for ponies and began collecting.

I feel bad for her.  I no longer have her but if I did,  she'd have a place in my herd today!

My first pony was G1 Butterscotch. I Love her SO much! She's still with me, with a slightly shorter hairstyle (only a little the ends were disastrous), and some faded butterflies. She recently acquired a G3 counterpart, and while they didn't quite recognize each other at first, they seem to be getting along pretty well now. Well enough that inklings of my own army are starting to emerge. Muhwahahahahahahahaha! (oops, what that out loud?)

As far as I remember, my only pony was G1 Wind Drifter... not sure what happened to her.

But after FiM came out, I got into ponies again, starting with Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. Once I started collecting G1s, my first were Wind Drifter (of course), Cloud Puff and Forget Me Not. I had just them for a long time, thinking I'd be content with just having my child hood pony, but the bug got me!

My grandma gave me a few g1's from yard sales when I was around two or three, but I don't think I ever played with them. But the first pony that I got and remember playing with is g3 Butterscotch. My mom picked her out for me because yellow is my favorite color. I thought MLP was a new toy line or something, I didnt know it was brought back from the 80's lol. I got her for Easter and she came with a little hat and some berries. I wish I still had her hat though...  Me and my sisters also had this huge wooden horse stable, and we would always play with our ponies in it.

My first pony was G1 Twilight (unicorn) and yes I still have her. She was given to me for Christmas from an aunt. I had a dream the other night I found one MOC.

MY first MLP was Firefly back in 83 or 84.  She was they only choice the store I went to had.  I think I even used my allowance to purchase her.  Almost 30 years later and I still have her.

I'm not sure I remember which was my first, but I think I had Baby Cuddles and her buggy pretty early on, along with beddy-bye-eyed baby Hearthtthrob and baby Sleepy Pie, and Forget me Not the flutterpony.  Sadly these were all donated as I got older, without my permission :(

My first pony was a G1 Blossom that I got as a three or four year-old girl for my birthday.  I kept her (and the rest of my pony herd) until I turned ten years old when we moved across-country and all of the toys from my childhood were sent to Goodwill to save us from having to pack them.

I have a super vivid memory of going to Toys R US in the evening, after dark, and my Daddy picking up the box to the Dream Castle, (It was at the bottom shelf) and I could NOT believe I was actually going to get something so big and spectacular! And I just loved my Majesty with all her cool stuff!

Bowtie and Applejack. I think I got them for my second birthday party?

AJ's seen better days, I cut off her forelock for some reason, and she had pindot mold which thankfully went away with some bleach. But I was new to pony-cleaning and didn't know the bleach would ruin her hair, so her mane is frizzy on the ends pretty badly. She just needs a rehair, her hair was pretty bad off already.

Bowtie's hair is a little frizzy/generally bleh too from years and years of being dragged around and brushed. She also has some dark stains on her NDS legs from a "spin the pony and fling it as far as you can" game many years ago. :P Her symbol has also faded.

They both held up extremely well to such a young kid though!

The Dream Castle comment reminded me that one year my sister and I literately had a MLP Christmas. Santa had left us Dream Castle,Satin Slipper Sweet Shoppe, and Baby Bonnet School of Dance along with several other ponies. Needless to say we were 2 very happy kids that year!

G1 Flutterbye and Ringlet.
I got them when I was little, from my grandma I think.
I still have Flutterbye and she's in good condition.
I'm still wondering where Ringlet is...

I can't remember my first pony. I think I got her before my first memories, and I owned SO many when I was little. I do remember my favorite, though: Little Flitter. We had so much fun together  :lovey:

I had no childhood ponies, I was born in the 90s when all things pony were discontinued. I watched the TV series reruns since I was 2, though. When I was 13 or 14 I bought my first ponies off eBay, which were baby Cherries Jubilee and Sunlight (with the rest of the rainbow pony set, but Sunlight was the first one I specifically wanted).

I still have them, too. I just wish I had pony toys when I was younger, but at least I had Pokemon, lol.

I don't think I ever had a genuine MLP toy as a kid. I only remember a G3 fakie with really cheap stickers for symbols that peeled off easily but left a very yucky sticky residue. I can't remember much more about her though. I think she was blue or purple. She likely got tossed into a garage sale. Maybe I should try to find her again one day.

I'm not sure if she was my very first pony, but I do remember playing with Sunspot all the time.  I sadly lost her a long time ago.  The first pony in my new collection though, is Hippity Hop.

Awww, I love reading which pony was everypony's first! ^.^

Mine was Blue Belle.  My gran took me to the mall to buy one, I'd had my heart set on Minty, but every shoppe we went to that had ponies had no Minty. :(  So by the time we got to the last shoppe, rather than leave with no pony, I took Blue Belle.  That sparked my fury for collecting, I think - had to get Minty, then they came out with unicorns and pegasi, and I was hooked. ^.^

I do still have Blue Belle, though her hair's all afrizz and her symbol's starting to smoodge in places, she still has an honoured place in my collection. ^.^

My first pony was Baby Paws. His foot stamp says '87 which is the year I was born. He is not in very good shape because I brought him everywhere when I was little but he still has a special place in my herd.

my first ponys were acutly these plastic fakies XD   then i got sevral  that  were i think dollar tree.  i loved them becuaes you would sqeeze them and  they would whinny nad you could hear the thundering of hooves and i think they had a flower on thre sides and like a flashing thing on thre heads.

i'm not sure which  was my first g1 mlp  but my favorite was kinglsey. i  got him from a friend when i was about.. 10 i think. 
but i had sevreal ponys before then.

yeah some of our "firsts" was a family of purple fakies, a mommy, daddy and baby.  we played with those so much!   My sisters had the Baby Bonnet School of Dance, but I don't remember the BBE ponies being that scary!  guess it's a kid's "rose colored glasses", eh?  I do remember the plastic animals that came with the set.

For my Childhood, it's hard to say. All I remember was that I got a whole bunch of G2s including the bride playset as well as another one. I absolutely loved them. I no longer have the ones I had as my mom tossed ALL my toys out when I was 12.. But I do have some rebought ones!

Now my OTHER first pony was a G3 Dewdrop Dazzle that my sister bought after Christmas from a clearance rack at Kroger. The moment I got her I knew I had to buy her some friends! Thus... I now have a dedicated pony shelf for my heard! :)

I believe my first one as a kid was either Firefly or Applejack, slightly leaning more towards thinking it was Firefly especially since I somehow ended up with five or six Firefly in my childhood herd (all still in storage somewhere, due to it's location in my grandparent's house it's going to be a long wait as I basically need my cousin's to get their stuff out before I can get to mine). I've rebought AJ but somehow haven't been able to find a suitable replacement for Firefly.

My first one as an adult was the Fashion Style Applejack.

I can't remember which one I got first. I remember being in primary school and one of my friends sisters gave me a big bag full of old MLPs, which I'm pretty sure included Bow Tie and Baby Bow Tie who I still have. All my other ponies went to the charity shop :( But I kept them and now I'm getting all my old ones back so I don't feel so bad.

My first was G1 Jazzie, the yellow rollerskate pony ! I still have her with her accessories and all. She has some wheels missing and her hair is a biiiit dry, but she still works !

My grandmother and I used to play with her in the corridor of my house at the time. That pony went against walls and furniture loads of times, but we sure had fun :) My grandmother still remembers it all and so do I ! :D

My first pony was G1 Moonstone (Italian). I took her with me at all times as a child: on every holiday trip my family went, to the beach and into lakes, to the forest (and into the moss, which gave nice stains), to the playground, the cinema, shopping with mum...pretty much everywhere I went. She has seen a lot, and looks very old - but I still have her!

My second or third pony was Lemon Drop, and I took her everywhere as well - until one sad day at a playground, some pesky kid stole her when she was unattended for a second.  :mad:
So, recently, thanks to the internet, I found a Lemon Drop in great condition, and bought her. I was very happy to have her again!

im not 100% sure which was my first! i can remember having magic hat and shoreline  >< but i dont know who i got first! magic hats tail fell out and my mum must have thrown her out at some point as i dont have her anymore D: i still have my shoreline! unfortuately her hair is really fizzy the colour change doesnt work anymore D: she was my fav!

I received the original 6 in the Show Stable set for Christmas when I was little.  They were everywhere with me!  I took them with me as my carry on to Florida when I was about 6.

My first was Seashell.  I remember thinking she was really special because she was the only "sitting" pony I'd ever seen.  I remember playing ponies with my sister and a girl who lived down the street whose name was "Michelle" (and my sister called her "Seashell").
Sadly I lost all my childhood ponies when I got older - I think mom donated them because we didn't have a lot of space to keep stuff.

G1 Blossom, though I don't remember actually getting her for any particular reason. I think she may have been in an easter basket.

And yes, I still have her. She lost her tail many many moons ago and my mom made her a DMC floss tail - which she still has. :)
