Hiya Dollhouse gals and guys! I have a newly minted and approved Challenge for everyone to participate in. The start date is August 1st and this is a year long challenge.
The goal is to submit a doll picture a week for a year. Each month will have a theme which is encouraged to be used in one photo for the month.
Participants are encouraged to use the same doll throughout the challenge. All dolls are welcome, except Monster High, I want to offer non-Monster High doll owners a chance to show off their collections.
There are no winners or losers, this is just for fun! If you miss a week, feel free to make up by submitting two pictures the following week.

October- Orange
November- Fall
December- Candy canes
January- Snow
February- Animals
March- Rabbits
April- Umbrellas
May- Flowers
June- Cherries
July- Tropical

oh, can't I alternate between my three girls? They'll feel left out :C
or perhaps I can do shoots with them, too, and have those in a separate thread. that sounds like a plan.
Mori will arrive just in time for this, anyway :D so I'll probably have her ^^

Yay! I will likely be tempted to sneak other dolls in as I acquire more over the year, heh, but for now Zatanna is happy to get the spotlight :D

If you want to rotate girls thats fine :) Thimble is going to start as my model, but I think my Minifee is going to end up as the "it" girl once she arrives and has a face lol You can of course include more than one girl

I'll probably start out with Cecily as my model, and then switch to my Soony when she gets here :heart: I have a feeling she's going to be my new "it" girl ALL the time, lol.

I can't wait! Are you doing it like the other challenge threads with check in's and a list of participants and such? Sounds too fun. :D
And not hard at all. Obviously I'm already doing a picture a week, I wouldn't mind doing this with a non-MH doll too!

We can, I didn't plan on it being super structured. It's more for the fun of it. :)
I'm totally cool with people trading out dolls, that keeps the ideas fresh.

Looking forward to this :) I'm sure my Pullip, Dals, BJD and Obitsu will all want to play at some point, but my main doll will probably be my Xiao Fan, Peach!

I vote for Begoths! I've always loved them, but knew myself TOO well to start buying them. If I bought one, I'd have to buy them all:) You don't see many of them around the Dollhouse, do you? I'd love to see yours......

The goal is to take one picture a week, during the month you should use the theme for at least one picture.

I went crazy on etsy and bought a bunch of stuff - so will start taking some pics once all that stuff gets here :)

I really want to do a photoshoot outside, but it's to hot outside. >.<;;;; Instead I'll open up the windows in the living room, and take some pictures while the dogs are outside. I think I'm going to do an Olympic themed photoshoot. xD

I might actually have a "doll" sometime this week that isn't MH, but I don't really know if it will count as a "doll" I'll post it anyways, and worry about getting in trouble later :)

Yes! Spending a lot of time on the computer is one of the best things about summer. xD I can't wait to see your dolls at the zoo. =p

Mine too! Luckily my photos only need casual clothes that I already have. But I really need to expand my pullip's wardrobe! And as for my dal.. Well, she only has one outfit! :C I just can't find anything that suits her... :c

Phoebe has been sitting in customs in NYC since last Wednesday...I'm hoping they release her so I can take her pic for the first theme! If not, Cecily will have to stand in, lol. I also need to get some more 1/3 sized girl clothes, poor girl doesn't have much in her size!

I got some props today, so I'm almost ready to take my first picture. :) I just have to wait for noon, so the sun is in the right place in the sky and it's not all wet outside.

NOw that I have read other posts...I don't have to worry about only using one doll XD I shall use the same doll or group for the whole month, methinks! 1 to three in a group...hmm. Yes.

yeah, Having separate threads is a good idea. Also an idea I think that can make it more organized is make a thread that's about the whole challenge and have it link to all the month threads from there! More organizing!
