Just got finished setting up the Wedding Cadence / Shining Armor castle and it is... surprisingly adorable.
But then I noticed this...
visitors can't see pics , please register or login
See that?
I assume the back columns are there to help support the whole castle but the problem is they don't reach the ground.
Which means the whole castle likes to get a little bit wobbly when you play with it.
Most of the time the QC doesn't bother me too much but this one - I'm tempted to e-mail Hasbro and at least see if they could send me something longer to stabilize the castle. It's a nice playset but what good is it when you set up a display and have to worry about things falling down due to the wobbles?

First of all, is that Groudon? I love Groudon.
Second of all, this is so bad it's kind of hilarious. A quick e-mail doesn't hurt, but don't hold your breath on getting any resolution.

edit: I just watched a video showing the prototype from toy fair and one of someone's that they got off taobao they don't appear to have this problem. I wonder what happened?

What. The prototype works better than the final version? Hasbro...I don't even know what to say....

Maybe if the workers weren't making such "variation" ponies to be sold on Taobao.. the QC would be a little better.

I don't think mine has that problem :O It's back in the box but I'll try to reassemble it and take a better look.

i got mine of taobao and it all touched the ground o_O this is odd. maybe another cheap way of "saving money" on plastic? thinking nobody would notice?

WoW kind of shows that Taobao acutally has better quality. lol I got mine brand new from the store if that helps. Must be a batch thing.

Lol Hasbro fail...even worse than normal!
I would hazard a guess its a batch thing from the fact some people have the same problem and some dont...maybe not surprising considering the sheer number of these castles they may have produced...but it doesnt stop it being a bit of a let down [literally]

It is Groudon - somewhere around here there's also a mini-plus Dialga so uh, I need to get an Arceus? All hail PokeGod?
I bought it from HTS. Just worked on it a little bit and it's a little better but still wobbly. Luckily, it seems like the rest of you haven't had that problem so that makes me feel a little better that mine's a fluke.

Still could just be a problem with a select few. Not trying to be mean here, but I'm sure some G1s and playsets had errors that were shared between a few, perhaps just a bad batch, just my guess.
inb4 the castle I buy breaks.

Yes they should offer replacement parts though i mean the castle isnot exactly cheap.

Maybe they made the mistake of using 2.5 as the go between for inches and centimeters and not 2.54.

You're all complaining about Hasbro's quality control BUT... maybe they don't even have a quality controll section anymore O.o :P All these errors do make you wonder ;)
From the replys though it seems to be a batch thing. Hopefully they can send you a replacement part if you write to them :)

I agree sounds like a batch thing. I don't think it would hurt to bring it to their attention though.

Probably just a funky batch, but still... That awkward moment when the prototype works better than the finished product...

Mine came from Smyths in the UK too and is fine no problems with it. Shining Armors tail however not so much, but Hasbro came through once again and proved the UK customer services I've spoken to before are lovely people and sent me both SA & PC from the set.

I can't say enough how lovely they are to speak to. This is the second time they've sent me replacements.
