Title: HI!! I'm new!!

I've just gotten back into MLP's starting on my collection again! its great to meet more mlp fans!
im working on refurbishing my collection, re rooting hair cleaning and making wings for my FLP's( flutter ponies)
its great to meet all of you.. looking so forward to talking!

so a lil about my self.. im an 80's kid.. so yah im old.. hehe..
my pony love started when i was little. my mom refused to buy me transformers because they were Guys toys.
one day she found these lil colored horsies in the action figure isle next to the tfs..
so in stead of getting me the bumble bee I was pining for, she got me glory.
It was love at first sight.
until i was about 13 my mom ormy self brought me various ponies of various kinds.
Then came the point where my sister did some really stupid things, i wont bore you with the detials, but she came back with a kid, informed me that i was to old for the ponies and that i should give them to the lil demon spawn.
this lil darling was a text book PTC( pony terrorizing child) my sister would however not relent. Maintaining that a 13/14 year old girl was to big and that i needed tobe rid of them.
SO .. rather than let the lil monster destroy something i loved.. i put them in a box and put them in the atic never to be seen again.. or so i thought.
i few years ago i saw some g3's and thought they were cute.. and had them on my desk at work.
eventually i put those up too again due to concerns with loosing and or having them destroyed.
With in the last month however, it came to my attention that MLPS were become in popular again.. as popular as they had once been back in the 1980s.. having long since been old enough to buy the toys i wnated i have a good transformers collection now. Looking at those it occured to me that there was NOTHING wrong with takeing a look atmy old MLPs and seein if the passion was still there.
so i dug them out of that dusty old box and to my shock and delight. .. the love remained.
So i started collecting them again and cleaned up mine.
they sit proudly on my printer now grinning at me, and or watching me paint ( i am an artist by trade but make the ends meet in retail) I have added a few that i could never get as a child recently.
I like G3's tho they are almost exclusively earth ponies, g4's seem so small to me but cute none the less.
my real love tho are g1's
like i said in another post.. i just got twilight and windy..

from ebay i cant wait to get them cleaned up and added to the heard.
i probably wont buy to many more unless i see some that are on sale at a good price like these two.. they were only six bucks w/ shipping.
but i will love all of the ones i get none the less.
besides being a pony collctor I am also fantasy artist... i work mainly in watercolor/ colored pencil and graphite and some acrylic.

which a lot of folks have made commennts about it being equestria cus its so pink!!!
